  1. I support this idea as well. These armor sets take up too much space.
  2. Will the old operation levels still be available, or will they all be 65 only? Edit: My concern is if all the operations are only available at 65, it will mess with the chronology of the game, which I am a little obsessed with trying to adhere to with every character. Edit 2: Watched the stream. All of my questions are answered. Not exactly what I had in mind, but it's close enough. Maybe even a bit better.
  3. My apologies, I didn't read your post before making mine, and I didn't read the Dufly page. That addresses most of my concerns. However, I notice that the Rakghoul FPs are also missing from the tactical list, and those are usually the hardest to find groups for. I would hate to have to get to level 65 and get hard-mode-appropriate gear just to be able to do level 50 content.
  4. I'd like to see the hard level caps removed from group finder completely, and then add a "Group with high levels" option, similar to the "Match with in progress groups" option. That way higher leveled people can find groups on lower FPs.
  5. I definitely support cross faction guild chat and a combined roster, but having the roster account based is a bad idea, as it essentially promotes stalking/excessive spam. That's the same reason why they won't allow adding friends by account.
  6. I like this idea, but I'm going to add on to it a little bit. Like the others said, usually I like to see my character's face and expressions during conversations. However, I also like having my helmet on in certain situations; e.g. leaving your helmet on when talking to someone on the battlefield so as to not get your head blown off. Along with/instead of a "hide head slot during conversations" option, give us the ability to remove/replace our helmets during a conversation, without interrupting it. And if you decide to take it off during a conversation, you can see if tucked under your arm or clipped to your belt. The icing on the cake would be to include an animation, similar to Shae Vizla during "Blood Hunt", of your character removing/replacing their helmet whenever you toggle it. I don't expect to ever see that last bit, as I'm sure that would be complicated to implement the animations, but I thought I'd just throw that out there. An appropriate situation for this would be approaching your commander inside a base. You might walk up to them with your helmet on, but you would remove it once you started talking. Even without an animation, this would give an even greater cinematic feel.
  7. Time to bring this back from the dead! I would love this as I like wearing my helmet on the battlefield, but like to show my face in less dangerous areas. Having a key bind for this would make it a bit more convenient to switch. Also the head slot should remember if you have "match to chest" on, so you don't have to reset that every time you switch between "hide" and "show" head slot.
  8. Exactly. Those triggers were put into place before you could quick travel to planets, when the only way to travel from planet to planet was by your ship. Removing those triggers might cause game-breaking issues in those questlines.
  9. The idea of faction switching was shot down a long time ago, before the game even came out.
  10. /Signed. Although, they will never be able to make everyone happy on this subject. There are people who will not play the game if SGR exists in it, even if there were an option to turn it off. But I say that's their problem to deal with and it should be in the game anyway.
  11. Every guild that I have been in so far has had both Republic and Imperial versions established. However, they have always been either primarily Republic, or primarily Imperial. Because of this, if I'm in a mainly Republic guild, and decide to play on an Imp alt for a while, or vice versa, I'm out of contact with the rest of the guild, as everyone else is playing on the "main" faction. Not only is it a bit lonely, but I also miss out when guild members decide to run Ops, FPs, Warzones, etc. together, or if a guild mate asks for help with something. Programs like Vent and Mumble help a little, but not everyone uses them. I think it would be nice if Guiildmasters could link their Republic and Imperial guilds' chat rooms together so that guild mates can communicate regardless of what faction they happen to be playing at the time.
  12. I also hope they continue with the individual class stories. Personally, I'm more interested in the single player content than the group stuff.
  13. For me, the helmet thing isn't an issue either, as I usually prefer to show my face. Of all of my 7 toons, only my trooper has his helm showing.
  14. From my understanding, BioWare had no intentions of having any space content at launch. However, people were getting riled up, because they hadn't heard anything about space content. I think the rail shooter we have now is a result of EA*, seeing fans' outcries as a chance for increased profits, putting pressure on BW to have space content at launch. A rail shooter is a lot simpler than a normal flight sim. There are a lot less variables. It very well may be that what we have now was not part of BW's original plan, and it was just something that they could quickly put together in time for launch. This, "Super Secret Space Project," might be what they wanted to have in the game all along. Or maybe not, I'm just guessing based on information that I have not verified. As for me, I would like to see something comperable to SWG's JTL. Like many, I want to be taken off the rails and allowed free and full 360 degree movement. I would enjoy being allowed to idly fly around space and explore, believe it or not. *From the way everyone talks, EA seems to be the Palpatine to BioWare's Darth Vader. Please forgive me if it's not really the case. I have not done my own research on the matter.
  15. I think that problem could be solved by setting a limit to how many matches of each WZ can be going, relative to how many people are actively playing them, at a given time. And those limits wouldn't have to be perfectly divided. For example: Say there are 1000 people on each side playing WZs. The game could set a limit of 30 matches of each of the 5 WZs, which is over 20%, to be running at one time. That way it wouldn't be super strict, but could keep the PVP environment from getting stale.
