  1. So other people have already mentioned this, but you need to allow us to turn off the double XP. I am new and leveling up my first character and have over-levelled him considerably. This is primarily because of the last 2 double XP weekends. I didn't get off Dromund Kaas until level 22. This means all the quests on Balmorra are now gray to me. This is an issue because I don't really have to learn how to play my class since all the quests are way below my level. They are so easy, I can just sleepwalk through it. I actually started a new character the other day and am purposely not playing this weekend so I don't end up in the same situation. I can understand why people who are leveling alts and have already experienced all (or most) of the content like double XP because they can skip a lot of the side quests and remain on-level. However, this makes it very difficult for completionists and for those of us experiencing the content for the first time (I am both of these) to enjoy the content. I am kind of upset because I would totally be playing a lot this weekend and I am enjoying this game, but now I can't play, all because of this stupid Double XP thing that I can't turn off.
  2. Yes, I would like to know the answer to this as well. I think that players shouldn't be penalized for choosing to make a character to be true neutral. There are plenty of characters like this in the Star Wars universe.
  3. I think they might add dual-specs at some point. But only a dual-spec within your AC. They should not allow changing of AC at all. I'm not sure if the OP meant re-speccing in the same AC or switching. Right now, you can still go and re-spec whenever you want for a fee, within the same AC, of course, just like they had in WoW for the first 2-3 years of its existence. People survived then with it, so I don't see why it's necessary now. Plus dual-speccing is only really needed for endgame stuff, and not many people will get to endgame for a few months in TOR.
  4. Hey guys, I'm still pretty low-level and I don't want to gimp my character for later on. How much does light-side or dark-side affect gear choices for later? Will there be viable gear choices no matter which way I go? I have heard that some items require certain dark-side/light-side levels and am just wondering how important these choices really are. Also, is there gear that is only for pure neutral? I am rolling a Smuggler and was thinking about making him sort of a neutral character. So far, I have done everything light-side, but I still am early enough on that I could easily go back to neutral.
  5. So you already know your server sucks after what, 5 days? I think the queues will go down after a few weeks when the game settles down a little. My advice: stick with the server for a few weeks. If you still think it sucks, then change.
