  1. Report Post Quote <Outer Rim Irregulars> Easy-going, EU-based, mature, casual-friendly guild for those 21 years or older <Outer Rim Irregulars> is a guild for mature gamers who are 21 years or older. The main goal of the guild is to provide players with a place to experience game content in a relaxed and friendly environment, without having to worry about event attendance or inactivity. Everyone in ORI knows that real life comes first, and whether you want to level alts or do operations, you won't have to worry about getting grief because of your play schedule. ORI isn't focused on one aspect of the game, be it PVE, endgame or PVP. We don't recruit based on the character you play or the gear it has. Instead, we're looking for similar-minded people who enjoy playing together. Despite this relaxed attitude, we've cleared all current endgame content and are eagerly awaiting the next operation to be released. Our ops runs are friendly but focused, we use Mumble, and we use a loot distribution system (Suicide Kings) that's fair to everyone who participates. When we're grouping together - whether it's a group consisting solely of guild members, or we've got others with us - we try to do the best job we can. It's no fun to have to tackle difficult content when you don't feel like everyone's giving their all. Simply put, what does this mean in terms of our expectations of our members?•You can be serious when needed •You can keep a cool head when things aren't going well •You care about fun while playing in a team, not just the loot •You're willing to learn to perform your role the best way you can •You're willing to use voice chat, if only to listen What can you expect from your guildmates?•A friendly but focused attitude to achieve our goals Fellow players who are knowledgeable about their role, or willing to learn from others A flexible schedule without any attendance tracking or mandatory raids Fairness and openness when it comes to any loot or materials A good sense of humour and plenty of banter!!! If, after reading all this, you've got any questions about the guild or are interested in joining, drop by our website, send me a PM, or contact anyone of us in-game.
  2. this really needs to be addressed. grade 6 mats should only be found on core game worlds and maybe the first area you visit on makeb to help you hit that 400 threshold to go on to 450.
  3. I dunno, I don't think it'll ever be as popular as the cult classic Paul Verhoven Movie. but I have to admit it does look pretty good. That said I would have preferred to see Robocop in his silvered finish as opposed to the black look.
  4. that's was pretty damned good! and shinedown to boot as well. well done to your Girlfriend for producing a cracking video..
  5. Why weould you want to transfer sentinel items to a sage? the main stats for both classes are totally different. consular uses willpower and knight uses strength. besides binding items to a character has been a feature in most mainstream MMO's for years.
  6. if you want Mando armour you'd be more likely to get the armour the TOR era Mandalorian's wear, AOTC?ESB style Manod armour hasnt been designed yet. so it would make more sense to want a TOR era set, this is would actually pay money for..
  7. after checking the bibliography it turns out i am quite a few Novels short of having everything up to NJO, but i have quite a large park of my shelves taken up my my star wars novel collection. got the Boba Fett Trilogy and the Black fleet crisis. i have to admit i found that series very hard to hold my interest. but it was quite a number of years back so, i'll give it another try some time.. i'll have a look at the other that have been recommended here, plus i need to buy Aaron Allstone new Wraith Squadron novel. i'm realy hoping the humour is still there...
  8. thanks guys keep the recommendations coming.. got a few more books to add to my reading list..
  9. nope only episode 1-3 based novel i have is Rogue planet by greg bear. not one of the best eu novels i have read but does tie in nicely to one of the later books in the new jedo order series.would you recommend the darth plaegius books then?
  10. heyas folks i'm looking to get some recommendations as to where what novels would be recommended to reboot my EU novel collection, I currently have almost every novel released up til the final book in the New Jedi Order. what novels old republic, SWTOR era and post ROTJ novels are worth taking a look at? so far all i have on my pruchase list are the 3 SWTOR novels deception, fatal alliance and revan, what other novels are worth buying? looking forward to your thoughts Jerek

  12. no worries at least it remained civil and I learnt a little bit to boot..
  13. Urael and yourself have explained it concept of the linear gaing evironment a bit better than i was thinking so I'll concede the point on that one..
  14. I never intended it to come across as if i thought i was speaking for the comunity as a whole, if it did I apologise for that. as to your comments about the linear story thank you for explaining it a little better than my understanding of how the mechanics should have been designed. that works for me, but i that were to be the case of more worlds again i think the game way possibly have been still in development/beta stange and not released.
