I've noticed afew other people mentioning it in general chat, but it's not happening to everyone. Odd.

I have an unstable connection also. It's usually around 30 ms, but every few minutes it jumps to 300, and occasionally 10000 or more. I'm on the Red Eclipse server. It was fine yesterday evening.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds it annoying to this degree. All I'm really asking is for a dev to take 5 minutes to turn the volume down on these sounds by 98% and then add this change to the next patch. PLEASE

Thanks. I mean, I shouldn't even be contemplating messing around with the game files but it's driving me to distraction. I dunno if I will because it's most likely a violation of the terms of service. It's putting me off playing this character abit. I MAY NOT BUY THINGS OFF THE CARTEL MARKET FOR THIS CHARACTER. Hint hint. Sorry, that was just a poor attempt to get a dev's attention. Though now I'm imagining one doing a double-take and then ordering an emergency response bug fixing team onto the issue.

Hello all, At the moment my main is a marauder - I really love the gameplay, but one thing that is soooo jarring for me is the groans of pain all the time. Several times a fight. It's horrific. Like something you'd hear if someone had had constipation for a week. I can't believe this has been overlooked, because I've been playing off and on since not long after launch and it's STILL like this. Does it not bother anyone else? All my other characters I barely hear anything when they're fighting, but for the male sith warrior the volume on these pain noises has been cranked up to 15. I realise this will likely not be fixed, but... can you like, delete those sound files or replace them with blank ones? Something.... ANYTHING

I resubbed a couple of months ago. Been leveling my remaining toons to 55 and then started to take them through SoR. 4.0.2 Broke all the class quests on Rishi, saying in the quest log that you need to finish chapter 3. So I'm pretty p'ed off about that. Hearing about this too (when bioware is supposedly about player choice!) makes me seriously consider not bothering with this game anymore, but we'll see what happens in the patch.

Don't usually post on the forums, but felt i should chip in by saying that I'm experiencing the same thing too. Good ping, but random ability lag - I've only been disconnected a couple of times in the two months I started playing again. Some areas appear to be worse than others. Usually have more trouble with FPs than with planets but tonight Balmorra was almost unplayable.

That's great info guys. So I really don't need any more than 100 ish crit? That's a lot less than what I thought! I'll need to start boosting willpower then.

Hi guys, I'm abit of a newb to the end game content (this is my first level 55), and now I'm in a reasonably large guild I'll be doing Ops and stuff in the future that I'd like to be ready for. I've got a couple of questions for you: I tried a 30/16 TK/Balance spec for a while, and though it was nice having abit more mobility it didn't seem to have the kind of explosive burst that a full TK build gave me (which I love). Would you advise that I go back to it for the sake of being slightly more reliable in situations where boss mechanics force me to move around, or do you think it'd be alright to stay in full TK? Secondly, (and I know this might depend on which spec I am) what kindof stat distribution should I be aiming for? It'd be great if anyone could tell me ratios so I've got a rough Idea. At the moment I'm just starting to gear up (haven't done the oricon questline even - waiting for some friends to finish Makeb) and my stats are: willpower 1800, power 440, crit 400 (17%), surge 300 (67%) Alacrity 235 (3.28%) Is power preferable over crit? I only have a 17%ish crit chance with that and I feel like I need more. Which surge I've read about diminishing returns and few people I've talked to in my guild seemed to think I should only go as far as getting it to 70%. Is that right? Alacrity was an afterthought really and I don't have any idea what I should be aiming for, though I'd imagine it'd matter more to me in a full TK build than the 30/16 one. Hi all, Just like to throw this out there and see what response I get. I've been thinking it'd be a cool idea to be able to change the sounds of your weapon with a special kind of mod if you don't like it. Sometimes a weapon might look cool, but it sounds awful. (and you have no way to preview the sound). I'd really like it if there was a special vendor with mods to overwrite what sounds your weapon makes if you want to. It could be for individual sounds (like lightsaber igniting and sheathing) or in sets perhaps (would be less complicated this way), and you could preview the sounds like with appearance only that there's buttons for you to listen to the sounds. Also would make a good opportunity for the cartel market! Maybe there's other audiophiles(?) that agree?

Frequently I'm in teams where there's several other new players and we're being put up against a team where almost all of them have 3+ ships unlocked (and probably numerous upgrades) and we proceed to get roflstomped. Wouldn't it be better if the queue system was a bit smarter and grouped teams evenly somehow in terms of experience? I'm betting that I'm going to get the "lrn 2 play lol" responses, but how can I learn if I die in 10 seconds? If my team are mostly newbs, they get destroyed piecemeal by the whole enemy team when we respawn. Show some sympathy, I implore you!

Hi all, I've just subscribed to the game after a break of about 6 months and I'm looking for a casual guild with enough members to able to do stuff together often. I used to play on the Imperial side and got a couple of characters to 50, but after some thought I've decided to start afresh with a republic character. (The dark side is a bit gloomy and depressing, anyway ) I'm levelling a Sage atm and I'm at level 20. I'd appreciate it if any guilds like that looking for members would post a bit about themselves and also a name for me to contact? Thanks!

Yeah. The first character I played properly was my guardian and I got him to level 37 before losing enthusiasm. After a while "savin teh galaxy lol" becomes a bit tiresome. Tried an Imperial agent after that and the story line was great. The secret agent feel to it is really cool.
