  1. I've spend 45 million credits on my main since the game came out. Admittedly it was about 33million over a course of 2 weeks last month on my main. My slinger is now in full level 72 gear with BiS everything. Before anyone askes how i got 33 million I purchased hypercrates and sold individual paks on the gtn at about 330,000 each. In real money that cost me a little over £100 And as it now feels a pointless exercise as it didn't make that much of a change in raids I will not be doing it again for any of my other 19 characters.......
  2. Fair enough but as i stated its not raid info I'm looking for but help with how to get a better parse on the op's dummy for this particular post and thought that it would be the people on this post and not a class post who would know more about the op's dummy in relation to the pure parse number.... In a raid things are always diffrent.... I have a clicky (not a matrix relic but the dread guard relic of boundless ages) and never worry about energy...and never pvp so not sure how I'd get a pvp bonus
  3. Hi all. Posting my request on here as its my parse and the ops dummy number I'm lookin at. I'm a Slinger in the SS tree 36/7/3 Full 72''s No bonus set (as I purchased most armorings and mods) My stats are - Cunning - 2930 Pri dmg - 1406-1783 (with class buffs and re-usable stim) Bonus dmg - 965.5 (Power - 1350) Acc - 100.06 Crit chance - 20.22 (zero added by me) Crit Multiplier - 70.21 underworld relic of serendipitous assault matrix relic (have though about getting the Arkanian Relic of Serendipitous Assault) But I simply cannot get a parse above 2200 except for the odd burst in the 5 minutes where it's been as high as 4780. My normal rotation (ignoring relics/adrenals/smugglers luck etc for the sake of making this short) is - CB-TS-AS-TS-SS-TS-FB-BV-SS-TS-CB-a little stand up and crouch to get an instant CB-TS-AS--TS-SS-TS-CB-a little stand up and crouch to get an instant CB-TS-AS-TS-SS-TS But I've tried all the rotations mentioned on this and other posts but all bring me to about the same number on the parse. I've tried diffrent stats ratio's on my gear, mainly had crit rating at 30, stacked power where my bonus was 1001 keeping acc at 100 with surge about 66% but my parse number stayed in the same range - 2200 ish. I'm the highest geared in my guild at the moment but I'm always about 3/4th on a 16 man raid when we have the raid parser up but should be at the top. Any ideas? Any at all........and I'm not even trying get to the top on this forum. Just getting something around 3000 would be nice.
  4. If you want to end combat while on the op's dummy it's quite easy. Do it in windowed mode. You can then see the torparse icon below. If you set it up before you start you can simply click the parse icon and then click stop. You may not come out of combat but the parse stops dead. It takes 2 very quick mouse clicks and less than half a second.
  5. Nice reply B'oarder. Clears that up for me. Gonna stick to my MM slinger as my main then and not just because of dps. I like the way it plays.
  6. So I'd like to understand how the Gunslinger Saboteur build can be so high compared to other pure dps builds, the sent for instance. Doesn't this show the Sab build is a little op and may get a nerf at some point. Now before someone goes off on one me about nerfs I'm not asking for anything to be nerfed, I myself have 3 slingers. I'm simply asking because a guildie says its fotm for sab slingersa then and means less competition for the other classes and possibly in need of a nerf if it really pulls 500 odd dmg more than anyone else...
  7. There is no problem with an in-game rename. Think about it. We log into our account at the moment to make a new character. We choose a name and the game goes off and checks a list. If its not on the list then we get it. In the new system they would use the same list.... We choose the new name, game goes off to check the list, if it's not on the list we get it and our characters details are over written... Simple
  8. 10 years? You played CoH for 10 years. The game was launched in North America on April 27, 2004 and in Europe (by NCsoft Europe) on February 4, 2005 with English, German and French language servers so you played at most 8 years, but i agree with your sentiments, CoH did expansions properly.
  9. So why bother asking? Do you really think people like you and me could in any way answer your question? I have experience of going f2p. Nothing was deleted, it was just unavailable until I subbed again. I was able to purchase the expansions and other content with the 'currency' they added and can even purchase that currency for rl money and can't see why this game would be in any way different. They want your money, they are a business. Where is the business in deleting forever anything you have?
  10. I play another game that went f2p and I'm guessing it'll be something similar. If you have 12 characters and go f2p then, when you first log in, you have to choose the 3 you want. You also have to choose the one skill you want and lose the rest (well, not quite lose, they just remain unavailable until you go back to being a paid sub). Nothing was deleted. It just became unavailable. You may even be able to purchase a character slot unlock and either roll a new character or unlock one of the others you have. The other game also had a new 'coin' added in the exact same structure cartel coins have. The other game became a store fest with a million (exaggerated) vanity items added. That game goes the way of the dodo at the end of november this year, lol And to those that might ask that if they go f2p why should they lose any of the content they have 'paid' for. Here's what I keep getting told (by friends). You didn't pay for that content, you paid to play that content, not own it. Stop paying and why should you be able to play the content?
  11. Lol, tell me the name of your guild so I can be sure to never join it. I'd understand your sentiments about watching other people fail if it was pvp against you, and you won, but your actually taking enjoyment from watching another game player fail at something. You mention a sense of competition: Why? They had a go and didn't do it, better luck next time. You had a go and succeeded, great.
  12. Patience may well be a virtue but this is beyond both. I have my main two toons stuck on Kai-Kan and though I wasn't really expecting to transfer to a high population server I was expecting a transfer. Like alot of others I purchased the CE version, have subbed since day one but can't really play these characters. My Sith Sorcerer has just 3 peices of Battle Armor, three, after the length of time this game has been out is a joke and thats all down to PvP, or the lack of. I love this game, its become my main game (my mate on City of Heroes thinks I've died, lol) but the line in the sand is fast approaching, and thats a real shame.
  13. Not sure he said he wants to get it by putting in less time. He wants to put in the same time (and thus effort) but just over a longer period hence 'not rushing'. If I play 24 hours straight and get a 'title' for some acomplishment and someone else does the same 24 hours but at 5 hours a night then whats the difference after 5 days? Even the effort spent getting the title is the same - 24 hours. Here's another example. If You spend 24 straight hours making credits and (for sake of the argument) you make a million credits are you saying that if I spend 5 hours a night making credits after five days I should not be allowed to make a million? You can spend 24 hours a day for the five days and make 5 million credits, I woun't complain. The title is earned for the accomplishment, not how many hours you sat at your computer in the shortest time. Now, if you spent 24 hours getting a title and some other guy spend 5 hours getting the same thing I'd agree.
  14. Yea, I can't complete that mission as a smuggler. Been trying for over a week now and I either fail because I haven't reached all the objectives (had my sheild up too much in order to survive) or I simply die because taking too much damage. The asteroids pose no problem for me. Its either too much damage or failed in getting all objectives. The worst bit is that its companion mission will not reset each day until this one is completed so for space missions all I now have are grey, low level, very low XP left. Not a happy bunny
