  1. A while back, it was stated BWA wanted to fight in-game toxicity. Super cool aspiration. Over the last few months, there has been a growing toxicity surrounding the takedown of battlemasters. We completely get Battlemasters are in the PvP instances for a reason. And, it's pretty fun when open world PvP breaks out like it used to. You know, the frame decimating, server lagging kind of PvP. The good stuff. But we aren't talking about that. Rather, this issue I seek an answer to is: griefers. The people that lay in wait, screw up your pull and follow your group around to every planet, doing the same. The stated goal of these griefers isn't to work on a "manhunter" title, but rather, because they think it is funny. Does that not constitute harassment, if they follow you from planet to planet, griefing your pulls? Harassment, unless it has changed, is still against the EULA, right? Griefers are ruining yet another aspect of this game for more than a few players. Even larger groups of 8 or more can be thwarted by one griefer. Small guilds have zero chance of countering this, leaving only the large, mega guilds able to take down battlemasters unhindered. Reports about this have gone unanswered, so reporting these players in-game is an absolute waste of time. BWA claims to want to fight toxicity, so the question begs: What are you going to do about Battlemaster Griefing? Is this only content for mega guilds now?

  4. We Were AFK is looking for active, social players to join the crew. New players, free-to-play, returning players, veterans- everyone is welcome! We have something for just about everyone, from Weekly raid nights, PvP marathons, datacron hunting - heck, we even have stuff for Lint Lickers! Casual at heart, but we do require Discord for raiding. We nail large conquest targets every week, and rewards top contributers with high-value prizes. We have an older crowd, but the discussion is kept family friendly-ish for the most part, as a few of our members that are parents also have their kids in the guild. Think: Disney meets South Park. Apply today!
  5. Pub side, Pax Republica is back and looking to bring in talent!
  6. We are pubside, not sure if that's what you are looking for. Casual, so we do a bit of everyting, but we definitely have an affinity for PvP- lowbies, mids, 75 and working on ranked.
  7. Simply hit up a recruiter in-game. We are working on updating our site, so for the time being, ingame is the best method.
  8. Welcome back! We're a small family these days, since we also took a long break from the game, but Pax Republica is definitely looking to bring in returning players. We're casual- some of us run a lot of warzones, others grind out Flashpoints and Ops. It's whatever. But PvP is cooler, just saying
  9. Ah, I see you're rolling Empire.... If you ever decide to try the Republic, maybe give Pax Republica a look. Casual, friendly, PvP enthusiasts- mostly online during the evening (M/C/EST).
  10. Welcome back! You are not the only one returning from a hiatus- a lot of veteran players are coming back! If you're rolling Pub side, might I suggest you give Pax Republica a look. Casual, friendly, and definately down to run a warzone or twenty.
  11. From the ashes of the Great Hiatus, a reborn Pax has emerged. The dreaded adult life hit our members like a highly agitated Gharj, and we all had to take a break from the greatness that is The Old Republic. Now, however, a few intrepid members have come out of the pit of Jobs and Kids, and we're on a mission to bring back some of the more glorious times of TOR in-game community vibes, and we need you to help rebuild! What We're Looking For As always, we want friendly, helpful players. We're more casual these days, so a strict activity requirement just isn't our thing. That said, we are looking for players that want to be a part of our community, and logging in and playing is sort of part of that. We've always been know for solid PvP and being friendly, so we will not tolerate those that are rude or offensive to others. A lot of us PvP quite a bit, but if that isn't you're thing, that's completely cool, too. As long as you're contributing your presence, and conquest points, we dig it. Our Vision We want to bring that great PvP from the Ebon Hawk to our new home, the Star Forge. Ranked, and unranked, mid and lowbies- our aim is to have fun and dominate. Also, we want to get back into a position of leading Operations, World boss raids, and generally just helping new players out. Lastly, we hope to get back to a place of activity of always having a few people on, and back to hosting in-game events once more. We already have the tools- all the perks, bells and whistles- all we need is you! Current Recruiters Jewelius ■ Snyper NoSniping ■ Kius Adius
  12. As the title states, who's down for some world PvP? Pubs verses the wretched Imps, like the good 'ol days. We get a defined time and place, toggle that PvP instance, and let it rip.
  13. I sort of like this warzone. If you're not careful, the other team can quickly get the upper hand, or make an amazing comeback, so it requires you to be vigilant at all times. One of the more challenging maps in rotation at the moment.
  14. What I believe he is asking is: Do you think this game could have used some more work before launch? Not, how does this game compare to other games at their launch. Who cares about the other games? I certainly do not- I'm on the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ forums, to discuss SWTOR; some some other game. So, to the OP's question: Yes. A resounding yes, even. I love this game, and have been part of testing it for quite some time. That said, I still feel it needed more work before being launched. And make no mistake- Early Access is launch. The game is live.
