Fast forward to Voss. We know the Voss diverged into two species through manipulation of the force, so could certainly be the case with the Flesh raiders. I sorta made that assumption in my head long before I ever made it that far in the story, so Voss just confirmed my assumption.

Well, first off, I want to give a big FU to whomever thought up this consolidation. Thanks for making me rename my toons TWICE. I had to rename them when i moved to the Shadowlands server with the guild, and now I get to rename 5/8 AGAIN. I had awesome names, and as a founder, i got in where I didn't have to use funny spellings. i actually got to name my Sith Lord Peace without any dashes or homonyms. You guys have made me wish i had never resubbed. And an even bigger FU to the jackhole that got the names i originally had. P.S. Even Cryptic Studios figured out that implementing technology allowing players to take whatever name they wanted was a great boon. Why don't you morons take a lesson.
