  1. Do you hate pvp because you suck at it or do you suck at pvp because you hate it? if you hate it in the 1rst place then there is nothing we can do to help. But if you simply suck at it than hate it because of you sucking, you could do some pvp with guildies and ask them to help you. If you are on POT5 republic, tell me, I'll be happy to help.
  2. Meanwhile on the DPS planet of Shadows and Assassins, people pray to get Pre 2.0 (aka 1.4) infiltration/deception build back On topic, Pretty much the same but I think its easier to punish a sorc healer mistake than it was to punish an OP healer mistake
  3. A: Area O: Of E: Effect A cone is an area of effect. If you can direct an attack in front of you and hit multiple targets, it is ,by definition, an area of effect. Your facepalm is invalid
  4. At first it was possible to use a medpack 100 000 000 times per fight but it was overpowered in a way. The vanilla tankassin are some of the reason it was nerfed. The vanilla tankassin were OP (I was playing one). It was so easy to get dps gear as a sin and spec tank (or any tankiss hybrid) and beat ANYONE in a 1v2 1v3 or even 1v4. The vanilla tankassin had a very good dmg mitigation AND self healing. Add an infinite medpack pool (with a moderate CD) and delaying a node cap was incredibly long. I remember THIS civil war where 2 tankassin in dps gear (some dude and I) delayed a side node for like 7-8 min against 5 opponent only by trading our guard and spamming self healing+ medpacks. They eventualy gave up and we got the node. Is it frustrating to be able to use a medpack only once per fight? Yes You can use a grenade on CD but you cant use a medpack on CD. It annoying but when the medpack nerf happened, it was ''needed'' When they nerfed tankassin, the medpack nerf should have gone BUT right now the healing is so powerfull that the medpack nerf is right in place again.
  5. The reason I rolled Imp first was because of my Aion experience. I played Asmodian in Aion (the super incredibly doodly doopy underdog faction) and it was soooo painful to try to keep the head out of the water. In Aion the faction balance mean something while in SWTOR it mean absolutly nothing. The leaderboard is nothing special. there is no open world objective (Ilum objectives where not relevant at all, the impact was very very small if you compare to a Fortress dominance in Aion). I rolled Imp to avoid the problems I got in Aion. In Aion you can farm pvp gear by pveing. The open world objectives were about dungeons that allowed you to farm pvp gear. Most populated faction in Aion= win when the game is young= farm pvp gear faster= have ''stronger'' players= win when the forces are even= more players roll on this faction= MOAR DOMINANCE!!!. You got the idea. I was a bit scared by ther possibility of having the same issues in SWTOR so I rolled imp to find out that it was not challenging at all so I rerolled Pub.
  6. I forgot about this talent in the concealment tree. Tear dropper: All you CC abilities have a 1%/2%/3% chance to make your oppenent QQ and 0.5%/1%/1.5% chance to make your opponent unsub.
  7. Mix Star wars, GTA and Assassin's creed. What an amazing game it would be. Imagine: A scoundrel is fighting the police (aka imperial or republic troopers). He is overwhelmed and run away. Oh no! troopers everywhere!!! Climb on the nearest building, jump on one of those flying speeders and reach the spaceport, Get in your ship and lightspeed to another planet !
  8. Thx for the compliment. The players im reffering are Yoshi and Devil. And maybe 1 or 2 more
  9. Here is some pics. Full WP augments. http://s1343.photobucket.com/user/Philelectric/media/Screenshot_2013-11-25_22_54_25_936262_zps99a86e15.jpg.html http://s1343.photobucket.com/user/Philelectric/media/Screenshot_2013-11-25_22_45_49_327714_zps21680ab2.jpg.html http://s1343.photobucket.com/user/Philelectric/media/Screenshot_2013-11-25_18_57_43_458853_zpsd375528a.jpg.html http://s1343.photobucket.com/user/Philelectric/media/Screenshot_2013-11-18_21_06_51_764984_zps42e1d78d.jpg.html?state=replace if you notice, there is several top or high ranked players in the ennemy teams.
  10. You want to talk about spike dmg? Go to the class forum (shadow or assassin, i cant remember) search for a post talking about spike dmg sin tank get. The highest i saw was around 30k or 35k dmg in PvE. Of course, its pve, but tankassin is the only tank that get those spikes so I think the small spike dmg a vanguard tank receive is nothing. Yes we can survive for 5 sec with a specced shroud. At least we survived long enough to throw 4 skills. (we cant really Cloak since we guard someone. Edit: Yes, 2.5= a buff for assassins. More armor to receive less damage because people are focusing the tank first right? 2.5= less self healing= less hp to take the guard damage=more dependent on the healer= getting healed more while the dps are dying because they receive less heals. Overall 2.5 seems a good buff PvE wis. But I think It wont be that good in PvP
  11. thats false. By using WP augments you increase your crit at the same time and it allows you to drop a crit mod to get a power mod while lowering the damage boost by almost nothing. Since you have a class buff that boost your mainstat, the ''damage lost'' is back on the track and slighly higher.
  12. Yeah, I know, CCing shroud is sooooooooooooooo hard, thats why people QQ about the squishiest tank. Edit: its also super incredibly hard to NOT use tech/force attacks on shroud.
  13. Yeah, its unfair! Why would you heal by 1.7k each hit? I mean really 6.8k total is sooooooo unfair when an assassin tank can heal for 6k if he have 40k total hp. Edit: Oh! and this 6k healing for assassins is once every 120 sec aka 2 min>1 and a half min
