  1. I see this game as a multiplayer KOTOR which makes me very happy. I'm having a blast playing with friends. Nothing like making your own crew.
  2. It may not be the most robust character creation menu but I do enjoy the characters I make. I'm completely satisfied with them. It's really not that bad at all.
  3. Wal-Mart shouldn't be used for games!!....Does it smell nice? Do tell.
  4. Brother, Gamestop nearly had me left out in the cold from the EGA. Bastards refused to give me an early access code until the 15th and the several times I called in the months before, they were clueless. I canceled my pre-order and went with Origin. Luckily, I got in on the 16th
  5. Tempest! I played (Blank) Valentine. High level Ranger/entertainer/rifleman. God I miss SWG.
  6. I think the grace period is for people who haven't gotten the game by the 20th. This period is different. It is the EGA period for pre-order customers. You wont see the grace period until after the 20th...
  7. Makes me miss the entertainer class. And Darth Vader is chunky.
  8. I pre-ordered back in September and gave up when they said they weren't giving up any codes until the 15th. Went and pre-ordered from Origin. For some reason, a lot of Gamestops are having problems with this
  9. You do realize you're just trolling, right? And yes! I will see you tomorrow
  10. Nice! Jennifer Hale was a better Shep in my book. She was more believable and had more depth to her character. Can't wait to see her in this game for myself.
  11. I understand what you're saying (As I do pay for things and actually bought myself a new car last year. When they say standard, they really mean bare ***ing bones standard) But when you promise early access (At the time, EA and Bioware didn't include the word MAY) and you put five down on your pre-order, you expect to get what you want. You offer. I want. I pay. You gimme. You should have peace of mind. Hell, SWTOR isn't the first MMO I've joined for early access. Vanguard, FFXIV, Age of Conan, they all had early access. I even received my physical copy of AoC before release date even though I had a flyer with my code...Before the early access period. The fact that my store has somehow failed me WAS a shock. And it was incredibly irritating. What can I do about it? Nothing. I'm not even going to entertain the thought of compensation because that's just laughable but I will start ordering any new MMO from it's website if possible. The new dawn of code redemption is tardo.
  12. Exactly what I did. Who was to know that physical copies were supposed to come with a code on day one if you don't have contact from someone who did receive a code or if there was no access to an official forum until recently? Are you going to say that it's your responsibility and your fault if you don't join an unofficial forum JUST to keep track of the developer and its distributors because they can't be trusted to fulfill their end of the bargain? Because if that is what you're saying, it's a little absurd. I don't blame Bioware for this. The fact my retailer refused to give me a code until the 15th shows a severe lack of communication and information in my region. Will this happen again? Hell no. I'll give up the urge to want to put the games case on a shelf.
  13. You can always count on a RP server to maintain a stable community no matter what game it is (Except for AoC which killed its only RP server) but RP-PVP on the other hand? They tend to dwindle. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it's the griefing or something that takes away from the RP'ers. I'm simply speaking from experience from playing WoW and EQ2.
  14. If it was my fault, I would have a code right next to the area where DLC codes listed on the receipt. Since the Limited Edition copy of Dead Island had the DLC INSIDE the box, there was no need for a code on the receipt. Therefore, I had no code on my receipt. Not one employee wanted to give me a code or knew how the hell to redeem it. And if I knew this was going to happen, I would have just ordered from origin months ago.
  15. Not everyone "procrastinated". I pre-ordered my copy of SWTOR from Gamestop back on September 4th when Dead Island came out. Called several times to see when I would get my code. Called again last week to see what the *********** deal was and they said "Sorry. It doesn't start until the 15th. We'll give you your code then". I hung up with the dude and pre-ordered from Origin on December 10th. Only problem? It was too late because there is a pecking order based on order date and I had to re-order due to incompetence. My fault? My fault for wanting a physical copy and for ordering at Gamestop. Definitely not my fault for procrastinating. I'm sure as hell not the only one.
