The other day we were in 8man HM TFB, and I used my orb on the TFB before we pulled and he made that sound he makes while you're in combat with him. It didnt pull/start the encounter, just made him make that sound. I've killed that boss dozens of times and I cant recall ever hearing him make that sound while you're waiting to pull. I'll see if I can get it to happen again next week.

something I've never tried and it just occurred to me... I'm going to put the buff from the orb on myself, run into a data core room, and while the rest of my raid fights the room, I'm going to try and click the button behind the core. I dont remember though, if you can click it while in combat.

I've raided at level 55 as both Veng and Rage, and saying mocking smash in rage spec is just hypocritical. Its your #1 damaging attack, sure, because you have multiple abilities that add to it. So what do we call veng spec then? lolravage spec? Both trees have multiple abilities that add damage to the one of if not the highest damaging attack that the tree utilizes, though veng is getting alot more bleed damage these days, especially on fights like dash'roode.

The orb can not be used while in combat. Also, my group just killed Stryak on HM, I used it on his corpse, nothing. Next week I'll try it on the dragon.

At first I thought it was kind of funny that we stacked 9 healers in the raid group (2 tanks, 13 dps, 9 healers), but that also means you have to have the dps to carry the loss of dps from having 9 healers, which we obviously did. We've now killed him 4 times I believe? <-- Titan of Torva Nex Also, heres 2 videos of our first 10 stack kill, one from a sage point of view, the 2nd from the main tank's point of view. In the tanks video, theres multiple occasions where you see enough of the surrounding area to see that we do not have any additional help. <- Sorc PoV <- Tankassin PoV Both videos were posted on March 3rd, the day we reported the kill, so you cant claim we're using videos from a later date. Good day.

I've got an orb, however I'm not on the PTS. I'll help out with testing theories, but remember, its got a 23 hour cooldown.

we did not kill him btw, kept wiping between 40% - 30%. I personally killed myself 2-3 times due to dpsing during the shield :-( stupid me.

at about the 3 minute mark you call for a full dps stop during some aoe damage which coincidentally stops the aoe damage for the time being, then you start it back up once people are healed up. Can you explain whats going on there? -edit I'm sorry if I just answered my own questions, but I'd like just some clarity on the mechanic.
