  1. I'm very much the poster boy for neurotic/OCD-like behaviour, as well, and having to eyeball, then arrange the various elements of the UI by "freehand", drove me nuts. I literally did not want to play the game, knowing that, before I could do anything with my character, I'd have to spend at least an hour trying, then failing, to get my layout as close to symmetrically perfect as possible -- and there's just too much "stuff" floating around the screen to even make that remotely feasible. At any rate, I agree that it would be nice if BioWare could introduce their own official design tool into Interface Editor in the near future but, well, it's been three years since this idea was suggested. I don't hold much hope. Still, very odd that, after all this time, we both come to the same spot to post the same information. Hopefully, this double endorsement of the ClovisGrid helps a few folks with the same nagging issue.
  2. I'm very late to the party with this but a user on Reddit by the name of Yogoat has created a simple grid overlay program that you may find of some use. As he describes it: At any rate, if interested, it can be found here.
  3. I actually enjoyed Taris but that might be because it simply wasn't Coruscant and I was just happy to get out of there. While Taris may have been a pain in the backside (with all those paths and trails), Coruscant was just plain tedious. I really wish they could have differentiated the class stories a bit more because the thought that each time I start a new Republic-aligned character I have to go through all the Coruscant missions again...ugh.
  4. P. P. S. Oh, and a more robust character creation system -- i. e. more variety -- along with multiple origin stories for a single class. Playing the same story over and over again gets tiresome.
  5. Sorry, that was worded poorly -- I blame the 5 AM posting time. I meant a playable Wookie character and more -- as in another -- wookie companion. The world, for some reason, seems curiously lacking in wookies and I'd like to see more. That's what I was getting at. Sorry for the confusion P. S. Oh, or maybe an ewok.
  6. Just a couple of things, off the top of my head: Easy, downloadable, access to a character's in-game cinematics for personal use. A more, robust, in-game, story recap as a menu option; allowing you to be able to see (and chart) your character's progress and adventures from their humble beginnings to the present -- a kind of personal character history. The ability to combine Legacy family trees with friend(s). A taun taun Hoth Taxi service. Additional levels (with all that entails) beyond the cap. P. S. A playable Wookie race (or, at least, Wookie companion(s)). More class options
  7. I recently purchased a speeder whose appearance I was dissatisfied with. Is there anyway to sell the aforementioned speeder back to the vendor once it has been 'unpacked'? Or am I missing something really, really, simple about how to perform said transaction? Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
  8. This is a question for idle curiosity sake and nothing more but I've often wondered how voice actors in BioWare games get cast for their roles. As the assemblage for any one game can be staggeringly huge (and all the voice over talent universally excellent), what gets one actor or actress chosen over another for a specific role? It's a nice problem for a casting director to have but who do they decide to pull the trigger on and why? At any rate, cut to the present, I recently got around to watching to Season One of the Legion of Superheroes cartoon produced on the WB and thought I recognized the voice of Saturn Girl but wasn't sure where I had heard it before. Sure enough, a quick search of IMDB, revealed that the voice of the character (with mind powers similar to our beloved Jedi) was in fact supplied by Kari Wahlgren (the Female Jedi lead in SWTOR). I'm not sure if anybody can answer this but was it her role as Saturn Girl that actually landed her the job in the SWTOR game? Again, it's more for curiosity sake than anything else. I had just finished the First Act of my female Jedi's story arc and, a few hours later, popped in a DVD for some downtime and there she was again! Once again, using the powers of her mind to fight evil in space....
  9. I have a follow up to that, actually. It's not a big deal, but the opening summary for Chapter One for "Strike of the Desolator" has a bug. While my character decided to do the Tatooine mission first, it clearly states that I went to Alderaan to rescue Master Orgus Din.
