I'm new to GS piloting. Why is burst the run away leader? Light seems to have more damage with higher accuracy.

Hi SWTOR Community! My guild pushed a lot of the early PVE and PVP content through end of 2012 after which time we stopped playing. I've returned, lvl 50 ops healer, and am looking to hook up w/an energetic team. I'm also really *old*, 44. My kids are just getting old enough to play...which is freaking fantastic!
