  1. >< hardcore players think a little diffrent
  2. They really shoulda launched all the guilds as a whole. This is more like a single player game now for many of the later guildies. Everyone will be cap if your in a Hardcore guild. I wanted social points and more I also have fun with the bleeding edge. I just might literally have to bleed or what ever happens when you dont sleep until you hit 50 now. Sweeeeeeeeet
  3. I hear you, I do not understand Bioware. I've been in smooth head starts. One was 3x bigger then expected and still worked great. I will save my self the headache and cancel but my wifes game got refunded thanks to lolmart and my friend got an extra gamestop code for me back on 7/30. No money lost! Now I can just go to a brick store thanks to them shutting down the server randomly (Most head starts don't really stop?) and opening them up whenever. Im so glad my walmart screwed up the order and canceled it. No grace period? EL OH EL online much? It's walmart. Would it get here before jan even?
  4. Would not work? The current swtor head start is lacking so much compared to Rift it does hurt. I hated rifts gameplay to a degree, but the game ran so smooth you had to give them credit.
  5. Rift was indeed a smooth one day launch with head start. Some have said that Rift was small compared to swtor. My suggestion is they should have done what Rift did times the difference between launch populations. Then everything would be fine and EVERYONE could be on at the same time like other games. This can be done by doing what other company's did and increase hardware accordingly. Rift never took there servers offline when everything went live. It just kept flowing fine. Why is swtor different? It can't be population, because that could be handled with more hardware and better management.
  6. They DO NOT bottleneck the flow of people because the roller coaster lines might get really long. When a new ride comes out they don't slow the amount of people that are getting on the ride. Have you ever went to a theme park for a new ride and get turned down because the line will become really long? Well I guess you would if its "more popular then any other ride evar!" But why not just wait in line and deal with any of the coasters brake downs and short maintenance, do to a HUGE budget and GREAT planing. Why would they not support the UNTOLD amount of people that could show up? Bad planning? "Be happy you will see the new ride soon enough! More people will ride tomorrow!". Why did the theme park not just tell me they where going to slow the lines down for the new ride so much that I'm not getting my turn till the next day? I think theme parks with this moto go bankrupt. p.s Theme park opens at 7am closes at 4ish.
  7. They could have launched at the premade guilds then let people in. I'm not for sure how that would be unbalancing. I would just assume someone at the company would have thought I'ts not a good idea not launch guilds first. Now we have a situation that CAN NOT BE FIXED with adding more servers. Not saying there is no solution, but rather odd that they didn't think this out more, or did not look to other games to see pros and cons of there methods. I imagine there going to have to address the situation to a degree. What happens on a patch day and everyone logs in. That's what I'm kinda scared of now. Stagger the amount of people you let in to the server on a patch day?
  8. For now, but how soon until it is a problem? It changed from LOW to FULL already. I would assume there system could read an output right, or patches are going to be lolol (My shoulders shrank, fix them 6 months later?). The facts I presented do not show complaints, but concern for the future of the game (My only complaint is the some what slow trickle of headstart players that seems almost like a way to bottleneck starter zones so we don't see how cramped/laggy/buggy they become) . I hope in house communication is doing well. Something seems disconnected, be it EA and not Bioware I hope.
  9. Can you prove that they mentioned this on 21/7 or before? If someone ordered 22/7 they should be in the game right now. They should have RNGed everyone, I should be in the next wave but I'd rather it go random even right now. Its more fair at that rate.
  10. Promises? Why does that matter? If they got rid of head start I would not care. If it was 2 days I would not care. What matters is people want to play the first second you can. People will go out of there way for this. They could have increased pre orders by letting people know more details. This was rushed, seems.... LAZY LAZY LAZY Lazy people are taking over this world ><
  11. Did anyone else TIME INVEST into beta to help this from starting? I invested all my beta time to HELP them develop the game FOR FREE! Get this, one time I helped STRESS TEST. I'm now confused about what I was doing with my time >< I hope they read my feedback at least.
  12. Life is a time investment, the more time I invest the more reward I get. Its that simple. Be it money, love, or games. Plus you got my troll, Im on food stamps sir lolol.
  13. Something that can't do with SWTOR. Thanks to not launching guilds at the same time servers are becoming full before whole guilds are even online. What Im saying is they dug themselves in a hole they can't get out of. Add more servers and who would join? How many guilds are rolling on a new server, not one they where assigned to? Doubt many, this will over inflate the current servers then. More and more as they fill up. Rifts head start was fine and great, what happened after was irrelevant. At least with Rift different stores offed different color crap. Bioware is too lazy.
