  1. Working as intended. Job of mara is to tank all CC, so range can do 1500+ DPS without interruption.
  2. - Datacrons have never made anyone overpowered and there is no suggestion that they will - Because some guy says datacrons are easy is not a valid argument. Grinding endgame gear is easy, yet stats are always increased for it. - Any 55, old or new, can get all datacrons before they even get to 55. The argument about advantage in 55 pvp is invalid. Blind Freddy can see that when the stats of endgame gear are increased and values of datacrons are not, their value diminishes. The point is that their value has diminished too much over 2 years and they now need a buff. The actual value of increase can be left up to Bioware.
  3. Except for perhaps the Makeb ones, datacrons are way overdue for a buff. Add 1 or 2 points to each. The ongoing gear grind has decreased the value of datacrons significantly, as the advantage that they offer has diminished. So much so that some people don't bother with them at all, unless they can get a free pull to the fleet +10 datacron.
  4. Everyone knows that 4 random players have the same chance of winning as a premade. That should be obvious. Anyone who disagrees is completely and utterly retarded. End argument.
  5. I wouldn't call it a success. Could of raised more if you donated your wages for the time you all spent on this stream crap. Save the world tonight... you guys are funny. Just promoting yourselves, and not particularly well.
  6. You people need to make friends and ask them to queue with and against you. This is an MMO. Bioware gives you PVE, but you need to work as a community to make ranked PVP work. This means more than just joining a guild and running premades with so-called 'friends' (often these 'friends' are just used to increase chances of a win). It means not being an ***. It means appreciating playing with other people, regardless of whether they carried you to a win or a loss, whether they are good or bad or in-between. This is very difficult for so many of you. You are mostly highly self-conscious teenagers, or young adults, and are very prone to peer pressure. You care too much what others think of you, which if often evident from trash talk and acting 'big' on forums. You wouldn't spend so much time playing this game, and be so precious about rating, if you were better with people and less insecure. Ranked was supposed to be fun, but was turned into an ugly and un-rewarding status-fest. In short: don't blame Bioware for your lack of social skills. The ranked community is fail because y'all act like douchebags, in-game. I'm sure you're all real polite IRL.
  7. Wrong. Just gotta queue sync like most on The Bastion.
  8. only people who group for pvp are douches trying to impress other douches
  9. Little wonder this server is nearly dead, if this is what remains
  10. Damn, the best thing about The Bastion was not having you turd guilds running premades in non-ranked PVP. Could ignore The Elite because they weren't numerous and players weren't any good, except for 2. I'll monitor how negatively you guys impact pug PVP. Hopefully, many of you leave the game or play less often considering the latest news. With a larger population late night, things should never be as bad as they were on Master D. Still, I suggest that anyone who likes solo queueing PVP late night roll toons on The Harbinger instead. PVP there is apparently just as good, if not better than The Bastion, despite being a 'PVE' server. It'll certainly be better than the Bastion when you guys migrate and destroy the competitiveness and fun of pug PVP with your premades.
  11. A shameless insult to subscribers. As if they haven't cheapened the game enough... It's turned into Shop Wars. After 2.0, I'm buying unlocks from GTN then dumping my sub. My subscription fees will no longer pay for this "content".
  12. No surprises here at all. This game is mostly grinding past 50, including the PVP. Grind versus PVP: everyone chooses the grind. How often do you see people duel on a fair standing? Outside of the starter worlds: hardly ever. How often do you see people deliberately downgrade from EWH gear for a greater challenge in WZ? LOL, as if any of you really cared about a challenge in PVP enough to do that. Ganking is seen seldomly. Although it's not PVP, I approve of it, because it makes the game more interesting. With ganking, no one pretends that the organised 50s with better gear/stats have more 'skill' than the lone guy they just attacked. It's a pity this lack of pretension does not prevail when it comes to warzones when the same condition apply. Incidentally, the ultra-lowbie (lvls 1-10) duelling is really the most competitive PVP that you get with this game. The rest is just about gear grind, and which team has the better class composition, vent/mumble usage, and luck on the day. PVP is virtually non-existent.
  13. For a casual/semi-casual, definitely repub. Rarely do you lose, except when you're playing against 3+ twinks on the imp side. Imps are killtards. You can kite 2-3 of these guys at the other end of the Huttball arena, while your team member runs across their goal line. Don't know about rated, not 50 yet, but if an imp is claiming that they "smash" pubs, then you know the pub side is pretty good :-)
  14. fallen to no. 3 already. hardly anyone posts in that thread. still fluke wont be on list for long. poor cowbob
