  1. It's more so that I often see guilds that do indeed have a lot of members online at certain times, but when I check their website, they might only have two or three members who have logged on for the past few months, so it's nice to be able to see things like that. I understand wanting privacy, though.
  2. Is your website intended to be inaccessible to non-members? I like to research guilds whenever I'm looking for one, but I can't access your forums (obviously you'd have private member forums, but no public forums?) or your roster to see how active they are.
  3. I really hope BioWare isn't keeping my passwords encrypted in a database regardless.
  4. And what a masterfully told story it was. Truly, you are a poet. Your use of white space where punctuation would normally be expected was quite daring, but I feel that it paid off in the end.
  5. I'm pretty sure BioWare could start intentionally creating bugs just for the fun of it for the next half year and still not be as buggy as a newly launched Elder Scrolls game. So they're inherently safe on that front.
  6. In PUG vs PUG, 2-6-0 is the best way to go. Everything else has too many variables.
  7. This brings me back to the newbie chart: Newbie/Newb: Person who is new to the game/activity. Is open to suggestions on how to improve themselves. Nub: Experienced player who has made a silly mistake that inexperienced players typically make. Being a "nub" is temporary. Noob: Experienced player who still plays poorly regardless. Is not open to suggestions and will defend their wrong choices, often times offensively. You help and give suggestions to a newb, because in time they'll learn the right thing to do. You laugh at your friend for being a nub when he lets someone cap a turret under his nose. You ridicule a noob until peer pressure crushes them into playing correctly. It is the only way.
  8. So let's say I want to make a new character and I know I'm going to want to do some endgame PvE on him. Rather than making him on my current server (which was a destination server), can I make him on an old origin server and then transfer him at level 1 to a destination server and get the free goodies? Let's say I know of the next seven characters I want to make...
  9. What would stop people for manually disconnecting before a loss to take less of a penalty?
  10. Good guide. The only thing that I'd like to point out is that sometimes you're just in a Catch 22 situation. Often times I'll respawn and see a Guardian/Juggernaut running through my pit, and an enemy right on the ledge. Either I do nothing, and leave a pass/friendly leap target open, or I try to kill them, making myself a potential leap target if I don't get out of there quickly enough. Also, if I respawn and I see a Knight/Warrior standing just beyond the fire with no one else around, my only chances of stopping him before he can score (if push is down) is to root him with a leap as he crosses and then stun him in the fire. But by attempting this I could be giving him a leap target; it really comes down to latency when two Knights/Warriors are spamming leap as one runs into range of the other. Obviously these are situations that you don't want to find yourself in regardless, but still.
  11. We're doomed! Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed!
  12. At least, it's not always necessary. Can we please get some sort of "Crafting Station" on the Fleet that makes craft times only a few seconds, like in every other game? I get that "remote crafting" should have some sort of penalty associated with it, but getting someone to craft you something that takes 30 minutes to an hour is more difficult than it should be.
  13. I didn't the know the answer to a question, so I asked said question. The point is to find the answer.
  14. Is it just me, or does damage to the ball carrier award way more objective points than it should? It seems like after every game of Huttball I take a look at the charts and see "that Sniper" or "that Marauder" who I know only ganked people and only inadvertently attacked the ball carrier with more objective points than the guy who scored three or four goals or the healer who was constantly running with our carriers. Am I making this up? Do we have the formulas, by chance?
