  1. They seem to be just moving you from point A to point B, no animation. At least that's what I noticed from Vandin's warzone.
  2. I have been facing the same issue since the update launched. I am brazilian and usually get around 145ms of latency, with spikes here and there to the mark of 160ish. Playable. Never felt it could impact the gameplay. Now, it's borderline impossible, to the point that completing a quest is a very difficult task, walking around to a NPC and the latency keeps skyrocketing from 150ish to 14k and stays there for some time. It happened during prime-time and early morning periods. Connection looks fine with other games and even other EA games.
  3. No. Purple is for 230, 234 and 240. The order is, in terms of pieces with set bonuses, ignoring greens and blues: 230 purple, 234 purple, 236 gold, 240 purple, 242 gold. The golden stuff has no advanced on the mods but it's still the best available for now.

  6. When we were talking in the guildchat earlier I got intrigued. You told me you were releasing 20 Force Breaches per parse in comparison to my usual 35 - 37. I went to parsely since you helped by already linking both the parses and put them to a comparison http://parsely.io/parser/compare/218481/0/217853/0/0 If you click the "Damage Done" tab: And apparently you are also using the same amount of Force Breaches as every other parse I have been seeing, mine or of other Infil/Deception players. You can even see you did more damage with yours then I did with mine. The big disparity comes from Spinning Strike but this is probably because your parse is cut when mine ends in the timeline, forbidding you to reach execute phase. Also, Shadows are cursed with crit disparity in terms of parsing. I got that 9.1k but if I parse 5 or 6 times in a row, I am probably going to end with an average of 8900. I am not in Full 224s anymore, I got myself already a MH/OH 230, not sure if it's enough to make this big of a difference. There is also APM. I reached almost 50 with 130ms of latency since I am brazilian while you are sitting in 47.1. Are you clicking? The nature of our spec favors the usage of keybinds when we starting unleashing the combo of Breach -> Stride - Breach. Or when we Vanish and pop Force Potency followed by Breach. I am not sure if we are really facing a double stance bug or not, maybe it's too soon to call and we need to wait for the gear of the whole community to be more equal.
  7. You need 2018 expertise. The set comes with 1936, you need a +41 EXPERTISE crystal for your main-hand and one for your off-hand. Don't mix pvp with pve pieces, bolster will crush you.
  8. Working fine for me, parsing basically since the new expansion came out. Both Shadow and Assassin. Even considering that I am Brazilian and usually sit around 130 - 140ms of latency.
  9. Use it before the combat starts. "Hard Cast" it. It's not a core ability for Infiltration but is adds some damage in a free cooldown. Just like Serenity do with a hard cast of Vanquish before starting the dummy/operation boss encounter. Just don't do it while pvping, because... well... don't. Unless you are attacking a node and the guy guarding has tunnel vision and you can start behind him and pre-cast. For Empire terms, Serenity = Hatred, Vanquish = Demolish.
  10. No love for medals? http://i.imgur.com/ZQgyyQn.jpg
  11. Farm bracers/belts to get the mods. The other pieces are also bad because the enhancements are basically non-optimal. Heavy endurance is bad being a dps, or a tank.
  12. Both trees of Shadow mix and match melee and force abilities. The main difference would be Shadow Strike, taken away from Balance after 2.0. Balance uses Double Strike, A LOT, and sometimes saber strike here and there to help with lack of force (nothing compared to Infiltration). Willpower also boosts your melee abilities. Put your mouse over your bonus damage and check. My example: Strenght (155) : +31.1 Willpower (3385): +677.0 This happens because, even being a "melee striker" class, we are consulars, and the consular's main stat is Willpower. I know the conversion rate is 0.2 per point for both of them. But probably after big numbers of STR you will hit the DR, I have no idea because I have never seen anyone trying to be fancy by taking a different stat than the main stat. Get your strenght's datacrons and that would be all. With 155 STR points I have extra 0.52% on my melee critical. Any other willpower point changed for a strenght point is a waste. About the set bonus for balance: It's the same set as Infiltration, 4-piece stalker. It increases Double Strike's critical chance by 15%. And I agree, watching your dots is a pain, the best thing to do is memorize the time they take to expire and count the cooldowns on your head to reapply them (it can be a mess during a raid scenario )
  13. I have answered this question on the Shadow section, not sure if it's the same original poster. For those that don't travel to the light side of the force: Remember, this is just my opinion and personal experience. I used to run with 25% critical for PvP around 2.0 then after reading some Xinika's guides I saw that she was running around 21.5 ~ 23% depending on the kind of build/hybrid she was using. Then I noticed that I could easily reach these numbers swapping every single mod of the PvP gear for Aptitude Mods 28x/29x and maintaining the enhancements despite the headgear's alacrity one. They were 27x/28x that time. And getting earpieces/implants with power. I was not interested in changing the enhancements, they were incredibly expensive that time (so were the mods, but I farmed bracers). I had something around 21.43% critical with a min/max conqueror gear. Now with min/max Obroan I have 21.50% (176 critical points + companion buff) and I found the result really satisfatory. I don't feel a lack of critical numbers, with the fast environment that happens when we are PvPing, usually, we can crit with our Force Potency charges resetting everytime we get out of combat and don't need impressive numbers like 27.5 ~ 29% critical of PvE. But the critical rating sometimes comes to personal interest. A friend with mine run with someting around 25.4% and he likes it. You can also go full power if you want and follow the ''sure damage boost instead of chance''. The PvP environment is not like a dummy where you just stay there hitting and follow your procs. I'm also running with Overkill augments instead of Resolve. I know the damage increase is minimal like 10 damange and I'm probably losing like 0.6% of critical but I'm ok with that. For my PvE set I use the Resolve Augments cause I can't waste any critical chance, it's already difficult to get nice numbers as our class and is horrible to find a ''non-critical'' window as an Infil Shadow.

  15. 1. About the mods, you want to get rid of every mod that contains a "letter". For example, taking the Arkanian Tier, the power mod is named Aptitude Mod 30. There are other 2 versions, A and B. One of them contains heavy endurance and the other heavy main stat. The problem with the heavy main stat is the sum of power + willpower being inferior than the unlettered mod. If you are talking about PvE, Mettle Mod is also your friend. You won't have trouble gearing with the tokens, because they are already unlettered. when it comes to the mods, in my gear, I only swap the enhancements from the Headpiece and the Gloves for the Stalker PvE set. If you are going to get your gear with commendations, you can farm bracers/belts to get the mods. Try to get a similar one to the ''token piece'' this way you can easily upgrade it if you get a piece of a higher tier and won't suffer with min/maxing. About PvP, every single mod included in every piece is horrible for DPSers. Despite the Belt and Bracer, you can get the Force Master variant that is already BiS. After you get a Full Conqueror set, start changing the mods of your pieces for Aptitude Mod 28x (400 comms on the vendor). If you are at Obroan level, same thing, just take Aptitude Mod 29x (800 ranked, 400 comms on the vendor). 2. About the surge/accuracy Yes, accuracy and surge are our favourite tertiary stats. The other stat that competes with them is Alacrity, useless for a melee class like ours and I would say it's useless for everyone... The min/maxing comes up to you about how you want to reach the ''magic numbers''. PvE, the usual numbers are: You want to have 100% Melee/110% Force accuracy. The Surge will be around 70 ~ 73% with this amount of accuracy. Underworld Tier: 395 Accuracy/395 Surge Kell Dragon Tier: 430 Accuracy/430 Surge Dread Forged Tier: 470 Accuracy/470 Surge You can reach them, for example, taking Stalker earpiece/Stalker MK-X implants and 5 piece of Stalker set. And, remember to swap the enhancement of the headpiece and gloves. They contain alacrity and you want to get rid of them and get a more useful and productive stat. Acute and Initiative Enhancements will probably take care of that, depending on the amount of critical you are running. About PvP: I'm running with a single accuracy enhancement, granting me 95.03 melee accuracy. The other pieces all contain surge, granting me 75.60%. You can also run with 0 accuracy enhancements. I'm just not interested in gathering a lot of ranked to swap another enhancement, the alacrity enhancement on the headpiece already made me suffer a lot. When getting PvP pieces, watchout for the Stalker prank. A friend of mine got everything named Stalker and had trouble getting a lot of new comms when I told him to change everything. As a suggestion: Force Mystic MK-1 Relay, Force Mystic Mk-2 Systems (x2), Force Master Bracer/Belt, Force Master Focus, rest is Stalker.
