  1. So I am posting this here as I am not sure if this is a bug or not. But the drop rate on gear from trash in Flash Points is horrendous. The gear being the matching pieces to the sets that drop off the boss. I have ran multiple flash points 5-10 times and not seen one item drop no matter the class. I have done this now on both Imperial and Republic side with the same results. Quite annoying....So if its not a bug, please increase the drop rate.
  2. I think there needs to be a better explanation of the colors. I have an I7 930 and there is NO way my CPU needs an upgrade and I am constantly green, if I go by the color chart. Not to mention SWTOR doesn't even utilize a quad core processor.
  3. Would love some incite on how the bugs are going to be tackled. We have bugs that have been going on since the launch of the game that yet to be fixed. The more content that is released, the more the bugs add up. Also, what is going to happen with crew skills? Cartel Market takes away from Artifice. What will the other crew skills look like with the hutt cartel? And please bring chat bubbles back.
  4. First, understand I am a sub making this suggestion, not someone who is free to play, or has ever been. The reason I am making this suggestion is because the current queue times for Heroic Mode Flash Points, are insane. There has to be some other way to allow Free to Play into flashpoints. There is some mechanic that I am sure could be created so that the weekly flashpoint item would be purchased. But waiting a few hours to get into a Flash Point is insane.
  5. So, the so called update we get about chat bubbles isn't even an update at all. Its the same answer that we have got since the game launched. "No ETA". Really, if there is no plans to have these fixed they should just get it over with and tell us they don't want to fix the problem. This is after all a bug fix, not implementing an entirely new thing. Chat bubbles DID exist. And I love that moods were added in 1.4 ahead of chat bubbles. Moods were much more important than chat bubbles.
  6. All I can do is sigh, simply because from day one, and even now BioWare has yet to learn their lesson on why they are failing. LISTEN to your customers. Before launch, people complained about the space missions. The space mission are so redundant they are boring. You keep doing the SAME missions over and over again, maybe with a slightly different view, but its the SAME mission none the less. You created Mass Effect 3 BioWare, and it has the ability to fly a ship from planet to planet, and even as cheesy as the graphics might be for that flight path; its much better than what we have here. Lets have some UNIQUE missions. You tell us there is new space missions, but there is nothing new about them. They are the same old missions with a different difficulty. It feels like now, you are tossing what you can together as fast as you can so you don't break the six week deadline for new content. Again, I doubt this will be read and simply ignored like every other person who has protested space missions.
  7. Well, not sure if this will even be looked at by anyone but meh. One thing I keep hearing in these messages to the players, is BioWare comparing its mistakes and problems to other MMO's. How other MMO"s have had these problems. If you are going to compare yourself, be prepared for the differences. SWTOR has the slowest response times when dealing with bugs that I have ever seen in an MMO. A sister company in EA that is more recent in the MMO market is doing a much better job with the C/S. The Secret World. There are complains about how things are in the game, but you don't see the majority of those post filled with horrible comments about c/s. Customer service needs to be consistent, no matter the means of how you obtain it. You actually seem to get better support when you use a social means in SWTOR than you would in game or calling on the phone. That's not good. People did not leave because of the subscription cost, if you honestly and truly believe this; you are in denial. No easy way to say that, but its true. The only reason cost would be part of the problem is because other others pointed out in this thread, the quality of what you get versus the price is what makes the subscription expensive. Improve the quality of the service and people would subscribe and be glad to pay the 15 dollars a month. The subs were there in the beginning. They knew what they were paying; but as the quality went down, so did the subs. Trion (Rift) learned very quickly within the 3-5 months of release that they needed to listen to the community. They have actively done that. That is why they are still able to go on without a free-to-play option and are getting ready to release their expansion. And please stop telling us that you plan on doing things, or making updates. Just that they are not in the budget or plans at this time. Give us real dates and times so we know it will happen. Otherwise, we wont believe you. Ever hear of the boy who cried wolf?
  8. Okay, fine. The technology for the chat bubbles is there. They just need to be fixed. My point still remais, why are they not fixed and added and yet we can get emotions that show up on characters faces? And yet again proves another point that a much discussed and requested update has been put on the shelf.
  9. Chat bubbles has been an on going suggestion request since Beta. It has even been brought up in Developers chats. The answer we got was sometime in the future. Again, this has been a huge request that has been on going. In 1.4 we are getting emote updates that change a characters expression. Why could we not have gotten chat bubbles? We want chat bubbles One of the problems and the reason so many people left is because no one is listening to us and the time it takes to get the updates the community is asking for.
  10. Will there be any plans to adjust Heroics to allow for people to experiance these without having to beg and plead for help or groups due to low population in the zones. Since the heroics are not instanced most of the time, the group finder isnt going to be an option.
  11. I'm tired of sitting idle in the game and having to spam general chat to find a group for heroics. I don't even bother with Flash points. A LFG tool is needed, but there also needs to be server merges as populations are so small. The problem with the spamming is that people are not finding anyone to group with because of the limited number of people who need to do the same quest.
  12. They have outlived their purpose. A game is supposed to be about having fun. Its not fun trying to look for a group for hours to enjoy content. Sure it can be skipped; why does it have to be? We now have the Legacy system that seems to encourage people to go back and start a new character. However when you progress from planet to planet the populations are so small that it seems impossible to get into a group to do the heroics.Heroics should be hard to do because of the content, not because someone cant group. Flash points are no better. Another example I think where people just don't bother. Again I ask, why does it have to take hours and even days to see content? That is if you are lucky and don't have to skip it. This should be a priority, as it will discourage new people that you are trying to lure in. Merge servers, populations and the LFG tool. LFG tool isn't going to be of use if the populations don't happen to be big enough to support its use. At this point to give people a fighting chance I think all Heroic 4s should be downgraded to Heroic 2s.
  13. Of course guild leaders are going to appluad to such an idea, they are not bothered by the long waits individual people are who dont have a guild. When I purchased the box, I didnt see that guilds were part of the requirement to play the game. So unless they are, there are going to be people who dont join or find guilds they want to be in. So someone has an attitude and doesnt play nicely, what can be done? Simple, allow for an ignore list that wont group you wtih that person. They tick off enough people, they just ruined the tool for themselves. They wont be finding a group. If the only arguement is that there are bad player attitudes, the benefits out weight the problem and as suggested above, the problem could be taken care of. As for those who will still complain about the LFG tool, dont use it. Who said you HAD to go and use it to begin with. Its a matter of choice. And if you happen to be in a guild, you'll probably run with your guild anyway. Right now I can tell you this, I have spent way to much time trying to find groups for Heroics on the planets. WAY to much time. I cant enjoy the game because no one is on the planets to help. I have to hope that some how I can solo Heroic 2+ which may take forever since I am soloing it. As for Heroic 4, I spend lots of time trying to find groups. I want to be immersed into the game, experiance everything it has to offer. But at the moment, that isnt happening.
  14. Okay, tricky wording {Once these regulations are signed by the Supreme Chancellor in the coming weeks, prices for Tier I and Tier II speeder licenses across the galaxy are expected to see a significant decline.} Doesnt mean cheaper license, just a fancy way of saying they are increasing tier 3
  15. Suggestion: Please allow the ability to add friends if they are offline. Mkay, buh bai. Mwah
