Curious- I'm undecided whether I want to run Shield Tech in DPS gear/Hybrid gear, or if I should just go full tank gear and be an unkillable node guard. If I do hybrid (combo of dps with tank armorings), then do I need to buy multiple sets of PvP gear and pull out all of the armoring, and if so, then doesn't take super long to get all of them?

I'm not sure if I am the only one, but my armor randomly chooses to not display the colors that I have died it. I died my Shae Vizla armor black and white, and it only works about 50% of the time. It often switches back to the original color of the armor. I paid a lot of money for the dye, and I'd like it to work.

I have multiple level 65's and PvP a lot using a variety of advanced classes. I assure you that Operative's are not OP, and if anything they are a little under powered from a dps standpoint. Some people are just extremely good at this game and have been playing since launch.

It has nothing to do with SWTOR. I've read a lot of complaints of this happening in other games (World of Warcraft and Elite Dangerous). It's a Microsoft/Dx situation. Reverting back to an old video driver on Windows 10 does the trick. I like playing trouble free and my graphics on Ultra everything so I switched back to Windows 7. Windows 10 is still glitchy for gamers.

Can they be "pugged" with people who have never done one?

Returned player here. The game is still very enjoyable but it's become extremely easy. Heroics and FP's are now cake walks and leveling is simply derp-da-derp. I feel indestructible. I haven't done any Operations since returning. Are they still difficult or have they been dumbed down into easy mode??

I was receiving the same error. I installed an older video driver (as described in various forums) and it seemed to fix it. BUT...I felt weird doing this, so I updated my drivers again and simply went back to Windows 7. I use my PC only for video games and I never had any problems with Windows 7. Windows 10 has been nothing but trouble for me. If you insist on staying with windows 10, installing older drivers and then telling windows to not update automatically is your best bet.

Concealment Operative is my all time favorite class. I also maxed out a Sniper which was also a lot of fun. The Op may not do as much damage but the playstyle and utility can't be matched.

I loved playing as an Engineer Sniper. I have a level 41 Powertech that I'm currently leveling and I don't like the Advanced Prototype spec (it has severe overheating issues in my opinion). I prefer the Powertech Shieldtech. Bu all in all, Snipers and Powertechs are super fun.

I am really looking forward to the Cantina event. I will be at the Star Wars Celebration all day and can't think of a better way to end my day. I have never been to a Cantina event before and can't wait to meet the devs , fellow players, and get a cool exclusive mount. My wife on the other hand... I have a feeling she may not enjoy it as much. There is a very probable chance that she will run away and drive back to SD without me.

Anyone know when the new cartel pack (Master's Shadow) is going to drop? I can't seem to locate any information about it except the pics that are being shown on Dulfy.

I quit for a lot of reasons. I was gone for 3 months but resubbed 2 days ago. The server mergers and 1.3 patch really peaked my interest. The server merge made a HUGE difference in my opinion. I am having a blast right now. The game seems to be playing as intended. In my opinion it is on the upswing and has the potential to just get better. I do however want more story for my lvl 50 Sniper.

I run everything on full. Game looks pretty dam amazing. Not quite as good as TERA, but the graphics in SWTOR are nothing to complain about. There are times where I just sit back and go....WOW! That looks awesome.
