Some areas were 'missing' and characters that were in those areas would be unavailable. We took the live servers offline at approx 9:30AM CDT (Austin time). Our server and deployment teams are now working to rebuild assets for the live servers, but this is unfortunately not a quick process. We currently estimate that our downtime could be up to eight hours, but that time may be extended. We are expecting the servers to be available again at 6:00PM CDT (April 14th, 12:00AM BST, 1:00AM CEST, 9:00AM AEST). We'll update you with information in this thread when we have it. Network error while downloading patch data. Retrying... /sigh What are the odds I will actually get this back this evening? Supposedly if I abort right now and just wait until tomorrow all will be fine but I have a bad feeling when I try tomorrow its still going to try and download the 11G's

Perhaps I need a life which suggests that taking a Bioware game seriously is insane so does that mean therapy for gamers is don't by Bioware games? Okay, that was a stretch and a rant but I'm mad. Our network can't support the client downloading on the three computers that brought down the new patch and need re-downloading so we can get back in and work on the funds we need for the guild bank and speeders before the prices sky rocket. But too bad, it's forget watching TV, talking on the IP phone or internet surfing instead suck it up and do something else until tomorrow. Not sure why I'm whining on the forums, feels like Bioware might rethink their week notice about their screw up and making it out to be some small inconvenience for a small group of people. Dang, I'm still boo-hoo'ing ... I can't believe I deleted all that stuff to make room for what I thought was the new patch. Flame away, I deserve it...

Awesome feedback! Yeah, I must have got up on the wrong side of the bed. The option to turn them off is a great suggestion. As for Aion... it must have took a play straight out of the SWG playbook. One major nerf and boom there went the majority. Aion was fun in the begining... just think how fun SWTOR would be if we could put on jet packs and fight in three dimensions! Pod racing ... now there is a PvP WZ that would ROCK! Did you know Hutts don't have feet? Resume flame...

Please tell me there are far more people who dislike cutsie pets than those who do?!! Cutsie pets ruined Aion and I am not alone... a mass exodus occured when NCSoft intrduced cute pets ... why? BECAUSE WE WANT IMMERSION! I realize it is silly to go on about this when there are so many bugs and basic MMO components missing. Please address the these things and implement Star Wars worthy pets. I miss my Gorax. Please reply no matter which way you feel. I'd like to know if Bioware is doing proper research.
