I completely agree that Infiltrator is not working as intended, or if it is then it's a complete waste of skill points. I've been meaning to post about this for a couple of weeks now. I get randomly spotted while stealthed by equal level mobs while giving them a wide berth of up to 10 feet or so. Maybe this should happen occasionally at random, but in my opinion it happens way too often for the skill points to be worth it.
I'm Healing spec and tossed my left over points into Concealment on my way to 50. Infiltrator was one of the last skills I put points into and I definitely know that this skill did nothing to help me avoid being detected compared between before level 48 (estimated level at time I took the skill) and after.
I had 48 levels to know how close I could get to a mob without being detected and nothing changed in that regard, in my opinion, after I put 2 points into Infiltrator.
