  1. Gearing in this game is an absolute travesty. Bioware has made so many changes to this game that it has become unrecognizable. When you make so many changes to a service, you lose my trust cause you don't believe in all the previous systems you tried before that didn't work out and you've lost me as a customer. I remember when the cartel market was going through so many changes. Bioware Austin has no clue what they're doing over there. Anyways, glad I quit!
  2. They take that money and used it to make GC RNG gearing system. They will keep using all that great money to keep investing in such a stupid system no one asked for till they perfect it. Bioware say they listen to us and yet they go and spend our money carelessly on what they want for the game, not what we want as players. How does that make you feel?
  3. SWTOR is eventually heading to the grave just like SWG and Warhammer Online. SWG and Warhammer kept making stupid changes until it was a game no one wanted to play anymore. SWTOR is doing the same thing, making changes to their own game till it's unrecognizable. Remember when SWTOR was great two years ago? I do. It astounds me how much Bioware Austin lies straight to our faces saying they listen to us and hear us and then take our subscription money and give us this GC RNG gearing crap. It's like helping a homeless person out giving them ten bucks to get a meal to eat and they end up spending it on alcohol instead. You think Bioware Austin is using your money on delivering better resources and content folks? Nope, they're going to keep investing our hard earned money into their GC system till they think it's perfect, oh and give us more pointless Uprisings.
  4. You're a real piece of work. Going up to a vendor is not flawed nor complicated. Everyone knows BioWare Austin is all about time sink activities in swtor. Why would they opt for something more quicker and convenient. That's not the BioWare Austin I know. Getting gear from crates makes me feel dead inside.
  5. It's too bad that there is only room for one Star Wars MMO on the market. I'm so over the Old Republic era and I'm ready for a new Star Wars online game that is fresh and new, nothing like SWTOR, SWG or Clone Wars Adventures. I just want a gritty Star Wars MMO game, maybe something a little post-clones wars. That 10 year exclusive contract with EA really irritates me and it's something that I wish would just end already.
  6. Maybe but honestly I've been looking for an opportunity lately to finally get off my butt and go live life for awhile and after 5.0 I've finally hit that point where I'm just seriously bored and fed up where the direction of this game is headed as of right now. If I do ever return, it won't be till a very long time. I've invested so much money and time into this game that I need a long, long, long break. As for now I'm moving on to real life things.
  7. I signed up to SWTOR in December 18th 2011 and played it ever since. I had so much fun in the beginning and made so many friends that have come and gone over these past few years but today I'm cancelling my subscription for good and I am finally letting it run out. It seems to me nothing in the game is fun anymore. I've seen the good and the bad implemented in this game and I kind of just let myself "deal with it and roll with the punches" whatever Bioware changed. Everything before 5.0 WAS JUST FINE! Honestly, I'm starting to feel like a lab rat for Bioware and I'm finally breaking free away from this game. At this point I feel like I'm just testing whatever Bioware releases into this game. This wouldn't be the first time I've heard them say "Oh we hear you guys and we can use your feedback to improve whatever we implement." GC is a disaster and resorting to RNG gearing is just so slimy, it's gross. I wouldn't call Uprisings fun either. I cannot continue playing a game where the devs continues to play with their customers and use us as "Testers." I paid for my sub and gave my money to the Devs so they can continue making fun content and other stuff. It's like they took my money and used it to create GC and other bad features they released post 5.0. I love Star Wars so much but now I realize that the Devs think they can release anything to us because they think we'll never stop playing cause it's Star Wars. I had a great time and I'm going to miss all my old role-playing friends, but it's time for me to move on to something else. Take care everyone.
  8. The only reason I still play is cause I love Star wars and I love to RP and that's good enough for me to keep paying for my subscription. I don't pay for anything else in this game unless it's with my complimentary cartel coins I get with my sub. I don't care or participate in PVE or PVP stuff. Again, I'm only here to Role Play with my friends in the only Star Wars game that lets me. I do like to decorate around my stronghold from time to time as well. Lastly, I haven't completed KOTFE yet and still haven't seen any KOTET stuff either. I just don't care about story content in this game unless they go back to class stories which most likely will be never. But yeah... Star Wars and being able to RP is the only reason I'm still here paying for my sub to play this game. If this game didn't have the Star Wars IP than I would have already left a long time ago!
  9. This game was just fine before 5.0... who at Bioware even proposed this idea and this stupid system! It's like they're trying to kill their own game and it's working. Why, just why!?
  10. One thing I've noticed over the course of this thread is that every time this thread is ready to die, when it ends up on page 2 or 3 of the forum, I suspect that the OP usually waits till the end of the day to bump it again to make his topic and argument relevant again. This thread lost traction a long time ago... Watch for yourselves, he'll do it again and bump his own thread when it's ready to lose steam. He's going to respond to someone but he'll just repeat the same stuff he's been saying throughout 100+ pages of this thread but types it in a different way.
  11. That's quite a sinister response if I ever saw one. Back off buddy, I was just giving my quick opinion on how I felt. The way you just said that feels like your ready for a legal battle! xD
  12. Golly Gee Wilikers, this thread has 136 pages! I feel like I'd be here for a week if I needed to read every post. I'll simply respond to the thread title. For me RNG is NOT perfect for swtor... Why can't we go back to how things once were when everyone was happy before 5.0? xD
  13. The only thing I ever log in for anymore is to RP. 5.0 really killed this game for me and I have no motivation to participate in this whole Galactic Command System. If this game wasn't "Star Wars" I'd be outta here already. xD
  14. I'd be completely ok with the system if RNG didn't cast such a large shadow over it. Like the "I want to believe" poster in Mulder's office from X-Files that it may be possible, in theory at least, for Bioware to program its software so that it manipulates the outcome from an RNG and "rigs" the crates in their favor to get us to spend more time in their game and grind more. It's the perfect time sink that I don't want to be a part of. Anything that is RNG is a bit slimy and unethical from my point of view at least. Anyways... it seems like it's not going away and if Bioware sees any success in it, than they for sure won't change it. Just my thoughts.
