  1. This seems like a really bad idea to me, considering Bioware’s history of balancing classes in this game. I’ll hold my judgment until I can see the actual changes, but they take such a long time adjusting anything, in even a single class, let alone ALL of them, that I’m just worried it will take years until we see some semblance of pvp balance again. Are the people who’ve been loyal to this game, taking the time to level up every class and learn the abilities of every spec, going to have to learn all the ins and outs all over again? Right now, I can only picture this huge change resulting in pushing people out of this constantly dwindling population of players. Maybe I’m just not getting it though...
  2. Darned fall damage... One shots em every time.
  3. Please stop telling people that they cannot pass to stealthed targets. Plenty of players are actually aware enough to unstealth when a giant circle appears on the ground around them.
  4. Unbinding the four arrow keys fixes this problem for me.
  5. "You may dispense with the pleasantries, Commander. I am here to put you back on schedule." Vader - Rotj
  6. Great job on your data collection. Incredibly informative post.
  7. I'd love to play a map built around and over a sarlacc, crossable over a number of floating barges, with the option to run along the outer edge. Tentacles could reach up and snatch unsuspecting players, and maybe on occasion the beast could spit a victim back out in a random direction.
  8. You never actually asked for advise though. You started a rant telling us all how you think things should be, while simultaneously proving that you know very little about the game mechanics. Had you actually asked for advise in civil manner, I'd be willing to bet that you would've gotten better replies.
  9. It IS important in a game that has been patched countless times since that video was posted. If you can't figure out how the date is important, let me ask you this. What do you think would happen if I came to these forums complaining that mercenaries were overpowered, and then proceeded to post a video showing one kicking azz by spamming tracer missile over and over, dated Nov 2011? It WAS possible to speed hack, to warp through walls, and skip all over the map; I've witnessed it, but I've been playing this game daily for quite a while now, and the only thing that I've seen in the past few months, across 3 different servers, that is even remotely suspicious, is some occasional convenient lag that no one can prove isn't just the game bugging out. I'm not saying it's impossible; there are some very talented people out there, but you're making it out to be that hacking is such a rampant problem, yet you can't capture it on video yourself, or post any RECENT evidence from anyone who has. Unfortunately for you, until you do provide some solid evidence, most people here are just going to think you're another bad, who may or may not have a talent for folding tinfoil hats. Also, just because a search engine provides you with countless results from your search terms, doesn't mean that any of those results are up to date or relevant. Oh, and lol
  10. uploaded Nov 26, 2011 Hell, the last comment on the video was made 10 months ago. How about posting something showing a cheater within the past month? No? 3 months? 6 months? I'm guessing it's this fine attention to detail you have, let allows you to see all these frequent hacks that other players cannot.
  11. I'll leaving the balancing theories and metrics to those more versed than I, but I CAN say that it is annoying to be leapt to from 30m away and have 4-6k of my health gone in one second, especially now that I'm out of recruit gear and working my way into WH gear. Players tend to get upset when they think they die too fast.
  12. I think many of us knew this was coming since the first time we opened up the cash shop... err, I mean legacy perks screen after 1.2 launched. I can only hope it means they'll be releasing content faster than their already "breakneck speed," now that they can nickel and dime their customers for it.
