Thats why only do heroics that have instances, screw 5 minute respawn timers.

Its a thread centered around speculation from 6 months ago. You are supposed to read old threads, so that you avoid making new threads about old information. The person who necro'd this thread is off-topic, and you replying to him furthered that.

The Solution to the "Game is Too Easy Crisis"
ElusiveOneX replied to Swissbob's topic in General Discussion
The more I read your responses Swissbob, the more I agree with your proposal. Can anyone really argue against more choice for players? Though I wonder if you've considered if Bioware is even capable of offering such a thing at this stage of the game. Level Sync was very much an across the board thing, and it makes me think that if options could be added, they would have done so already. -
The Solution to the "Game is Too Easy Crisis"
ElusiveOneX replied to Swissbob's topic in General Discussion
I strongly disagree with the use of the word "crisis" as its hard to measure if the majority even notice the difficulty being lower. I leveled my 8th and final character through the now easier story and I of course noticed it was easier. I'm not going to argue that the game should be one way or the other, especially since I will never level another character the normal way. The question id like to ask the vets of this game is, why are you even still doing story content? I've been playing since Jan 2015, certainly not a founder, are you telling me that players who have been enjoying this game for years are still using the main story lines as the main mode of enjoying this game? As in, seeing the Jedi Knight story more than once? I'm even more surprised that after replaying the game over and over doing the easiest content possible, prior to 4.0, that the already easy content was thought of as challenging. I am not judging, but it sounds to me like people who are pros at swtor as still using the easiest content to entertain themselves. When I leveled my Jedi Knight, I only did story missions and heroics, those heroics were a complete slog at level. Golds took forever to kill and never mind doing heroics on Voss or Makeb. I wonder how all of this complaining will ultimately affect the heroics that are still not soloable by a companion. -
Does this place have moderators? This thread shouldn't even exist.

I actually wish it would play itself sometimes, I wouldn't have to do so much heroic grinding. Had a few moments where I had to run and check the stove while I was near respawns, I always come back to a dead character. How do I set up my companion so I don't have to do anything while heroic grinding?

Why are players stupid in Tactical Flashpoints?
ElusiveOneX replied to Sambaa's topic in General Discussion
I never failed a Tactical once before 4.0. Allowing lower levels in end game flashpoints is easily the worst decision made for 4.0. I don't even know why a level 15 would want to meet Lana Beniko before getting to expansions that are relevant to her. You can kill Malgus, before you even know who he is... ugh, so stupid. -
We already know that Bioware has no issues being inclusive, so the issue is clearly technical or expensive. Lets not beat up one of the few devs that even acknowledge same sex relationships.

I started playing this game in Jan of 2015, and I noticed pretty quickly that everyone who could use Treek, did, for all leveling content. I noticed that my companions back during patch 3.0 were less than useful for any task other than healing. What we have now, is every companion being as good and a bit stronger than Treek was, back in 3.0. I would say the game is easier, but I also like that I can solo Heroics, its the only way I can have fun in this game now. Companions going back to feeling pointless and horribly weak is not a game I want. Additionally, if I find that the leveling experience is too easy, I will attempt to engage the aspects of the game that are obviously not easy, like PVP, Hard Mode Flashpoints, and Operations.

I find it a bit strange that adjusting the difficulty up is so high on peoples list of concerns. Tactical flashpoints are currently in shambles between how weak bolster is and how all enemies are arbitrarily stronger, now that they've been adjusted to level 65. I've watched sub level 20 players get one shot by minor stuff in Assault on Tython. Was that instance ever difficult? I am at the point now where if I queue up, if I see anyone sub 55 I don't even accept the invite. I have to hit kolto stations constantly by running around the boss fight because anyone being focused is dropped to half health in a few seconds. Not to mention most of the bosses are immune to interrupts. Not even close to being fun anymore...

For the insane people trying to collect every single armor that drops from these crates, I have a spreadsheet that may be of use to you. This way, if you turn in crates on one character, you can easily check to see if you have kept one of the set pieces already. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0pbDedaqZ0Fd01ZZTBaWEhDbms/view?usp=sharing

Tips to adjust your difficulty level in leveling content....
ElusiveOneX replied to LordArtemis's topic in General Discussion
These threads are confusing, before 4.0 came out, wasn't everyone running around with Treek, completely trivializing all story content throughout the game? Doing PVP, Heroics, and Flashpoints before 4.0 still gave you so much exp that you'd level beyond every quest, turning them grey. Can we stop pretending 4.0 made the game easy, it was already easy.
