  1. Guess I'm not the only one who feels "aged" when I play SWTOR...... Only 39 but when chatting to others, you'd swear they were only in their teens, lol, but all the same b***** great fun, I wouldnt change it for the world, takes me away from real life after work. I'm still considered by many to be a Noob, but what the hell, if I was an expert at this, I wouldnt be playing...... Self employed gardener/landscaper, currently unemployed because its winter, which, though tight through Christmas, I have my Wife, Kids and SWTOR Happy Christmas all, keep playing!!
  2. Hey guys, thanks for all the tips! I play a Jedi Sage, am fairly low level (25) and this is the first MMO (did I get that right?) I have ever played. I really enjoy it, although its a massive learning curve for me just to even get to grips with the language everyone uses, so you see I am a complete noob to all of this. As a Sage I have been told and read in different places that Willpower is primary stat followed by a mix of Crit and Power, am I right there? So Ive basically stuck to those stats everytime I put in a new Mod/Armor/Enhancement in my gear. Ive just recently found that the PVP gear (lvl 20) that is sold helps out when your toon is in the low lvl 20's and then you keep modding them up till you can get lvl 40 gear...........dont know if Im right or not. I am finding that i have Deliverence and Benevolence as my healing powers, I strictly use Deliverence unless someone needs topping up then I use Benevolence (also casts quicker). I select anyone in my group now from their toonbar on the left rather than looking for them on the screen, sometimes all the adds get in the way and its hard to select them quickly enough........both my casting heals are key binded and I find that the easiest way to do it for me, seems to work, I manage to heal much better and quicker than letting them die, occasionally I (dont mean to) let one of them get out of reach or sight and cant heal so they die, and man do I get some grief for it........but hey ho, thats my primary job I would have thought in the group. Occassionally you get a Shadow who does some healing but minor? maybe im wrong, but I found if the boss is way too strong for my tank and dps, then I force lift them untill all the adds are out of the way then we focus on the boss, that seems to work best for me. At my level I also have Noble Sacrifice and Rejuvenate, which I havent yet key binded, but I will do it and experiment with my companion toon to see what the effects are, I know each power is explained however, getting to learn the language is for me the most difficult as I'm a noob, but I'll get there. Sometimes if I team up will others that are quite a bit lower level than me I seem to find that the mobs and bosses end up attacking me (probably because I build up aggro?? being a higher level?) so I back off as much as I can and let the others handle them. As a Healer, I absolutely love it because I feel I'm an important cog in the team and have a real role to play as part of a team, sometimes you cop a bit of mouth from your team mates, but what the hell, I'm learning and sometimes you see faults in their game, but I dont bother pointing that out to them, saves all the arguing at the end of the day. Thanks for the tips and keep them coming, really valuable advice, and just keep loving being a healer!!!! Ergusus Lvl 25 Sage Legions of Lettow Server Europe
