I remember a month ago seeing their initial list of restrictions for F2P, and it was extremely reasonable, even generous. No Ops, and limited FP's and PVP? That's perfectly fine. I remember being excited and telling friends how great it was that we'd get to play, and the things being restricted were things were didn't care so much about or felt was reasonable to restrict.
Flash forward to present day, and I'm staring at a ginormous list of restrictions, not just the 4 or 5 things it had been previously. Seriously, you're going to force me to pay cartel coins to display my legacy name? My titles? Not having to display a helmet? Forcing me to shell out 20 bucks just for the privilege of equipping an entire class of item on all my characters ?This seems like a petty cash grab of the worst sort. What makes me regret throwing money into cartel coins is the 2 character maximum limit, which I didn't know about since I didn't read said ginormous list of restrictions first, which I admit I really should have. Hopefully in the future they'll raise this limit, or provide more slots for a reasonable amount of money.
All in all, I can't help but think that many of their choices were short sighted. I went from a high on seeing F2p announced, to a low at seeing just how many small and annoying things they've put in my path to enjoy the game. It really didn't have to be this way.
