  1. Any non jedi/sith companions in tank mode will do one of these two things: 1. Powered charge will not work at all, instead M1-4X, T7-01, Theron, Lokin, Nico Okarr, and others will just remain in their place, wasting the power. 2. Powered charge will actually cause the companion to charge, but while they're face to face with enemy mobs, they will continue to do a run-up -> charge animation like a looney tunes cartoon character. This is only seen in 4.0.2. 4.0 and 4.1 never had this. Please fix tank companions. I know the majority play DPS or Heal companions, but don't neglect tank spec for the companions and fix them.
  2. Still like to give good Imp pilots a shout out, they manage to do great even when it's clear their wingmen are straight out of flight school. It's tough when all the reps seemingly have nothing but gunships and flashfires.
  3. You had me at "pink proton torpedoes" That automatically makes this the better game.
  4. Novadive > Flashfire / Count chOcula's scout. Purely for the reason that when you beat pilots in the novadive, they generally don't start complaining. Beat them with the fotm ships (flashfires and gunships) and they'll just chalk it up to you flying the 'easier' ship.
  5. Took a spin on the Imperial side, and I have to say, it's tougher to fly in an Imperial ship. Imperials, with a few exceptions, don't know how to fly. 50-60k damage on my novadive is fairly simple, I broke 70k once. Do the same feat on the blackbolt, with Shadowland's Imperials for wingmen... it's nigh impossible just from q'ing solo. Managed 30-40k, but only 50k once. I've seen a lot of the Imp pilots here, and when grouped up they're as deadly as any of the rep pilots. Good freaking matches that test reaction time and skills on both sides. Pug v. pug matches, the rep pilots generally have more skill in piloting. I don't quite know why, we don't have that much of a disparity in population, do we?
  6. Republic: Alingan -scout I suck flying the novadive, but I have fun
  7. Yes, because then we will all honor the great Jek Porkins with his title. We all need to stay on target about this. Do you not see his greatness? He died for our inspiration (and amusement)
  8. Point noted. Then just have it as a 1x time award. With the title as well. I feel that, as a red shirt, I need to honor that great ace pilot whose legacy and heroism inspired me to wear this shirt today.
  9. Jec Por'quins Medal... all fixed, so as not to intrude with canon.
  10. Can we have a Jek Porkins legacy achievement for this expansion? Become the first one to get blown up by turret fire x1, x10, x100, and finally x1000 At accomplishing this task 1000 times, the character is awarded the "stays on target" title. Example: Redshirtricky Stays On Target Not asking for much, just this... oh and Lonestar's Winnebago as a cartel starfighter too.
  11. This game reminds me of another gem of a game I played a few years back. City of Heroes. Great game. I still log on occasionally. I can log onto CoH, complete a quest or two or 5, complete a flashpoint, or raid with ppl, log off, and feel satisfied with how I spent my time. It's the same way with CoH. Log on, complete a few newspaper missions, maybe get in a trial group, log off, and that's that. They're both casual games, where the fun is mostly in the leveling process rather than repeated gear grind at end game. Here I sample all 8 classes, and while the general questline's the same, TOR is like a book that can be read from 8 different perspectives. I like that.
  12. Yup, Xalek's still got baseline shield chance/shield absorption stats even with gear. It should be fixed, no doubt about it. I've already got Khem val when I want to solo champion mobs, and he tanks better than most players I've seen. Because of that, I've given Xalek stalker dps gear and my hand-me-down sorc gear. He's the felguard and Khem's my voidwalker, except that they're both good at what they do. Khem's a highly defensive threat machine, and Xalek's a better offensive threat tool. It's a workaround, but yeah, I would've like to have the option to make Xalek my defensive tool and khem my offensive one.
  13. That's the agent's appeal. You're NOT a sith lord, nor are you a walking arsenal. You're not Superman, Wonder Woman, a mystical Green Lantern, Captain America, The Hulk, or Iron Man. You have a knife, some grenades, and your chosen rifle. You go up against all powerful Jedi, the high ranking elite fighting forces of the Republic Army, and YOU WIN... You're Batman... Now, I dare you to go up to Bats and call him a *****...
  14. I've got at least act 2 of inqui, sw, bh, trooper, smuggler out of the way, and I'm starting an agent. The storylines are all great, and i'm still addicted.
  15. As a guy who grew up with lots of women in the family, I've learned to tune out Mako. Just think of it as practice?
