100% this. It seems a gigantic oversight to not allow us to do what newly created characters can do. We shouldn't be forced to lose all of our progress with our main in order to play how newly created characters inherently can. I've wanted to be a Jedi Sorcerer since beta because I personally find Sage animations atrocious and boring. And I generally don't play Sith because their way of doing things is dumb. I just can't win here. Please address this, Daddy Bioware. Stop letting us down. It's not a cute look.

Hey all, as I've stated in the thread title, I'm a returning player. I'm having a hard time finding updated information regarding the classes and advance classes. I've always been a healer or ranged dps player. Anyway, my question is this: What advanced classes are excelling at the moment? While I'm not necessarily a fotm player, I do enjoy actually bringing something to the table. I'm both a PvP and PvE player. My last class that I played was a Gunslinger. Which I really did enjoy. However, I noticed that I always find myself missing the Force user classes. Though I do remember I started leveing a Sith Sorc and was really enjoying that as well. Especially since I could spec heals when I wanted to. Any help and advice would be appreciated. Again, normally healer or ranged dps player. Always preferred HoT classes when it came to healing. My story is basically the same as yours and I'm glad you're having such a good time! I'm a returning player after unsubbing shortly after release. I'm hoping to get back into the game and try out the Jedi Knight as well. I've always played a Ranged DPS / healing class and decided to try a Monk out on WoW. Got him to level 90 and enjoyed it very much so. However, I've grown bored of WoW again so I'm giving SWTOR another shot. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying the Jedi Knight. Thank you kindly for that information, poster ^. I've been thinking about returning to the game and I'm uncertain what to play. I've got a 50 Sage and Commando and I'd like to roll something I haven't played before. Been thinking of the Jedi Knight since I'm kind of on a melee kick. Anyway, who cares. I'm rambling. I unsubbed some months ago because the game turned out to be so "been there done that", so I'm not really up to date with patches and whatnot. So what exactly happened to Sage/Sorc healers to make them so terrible? I'm curious.

They temporarily disabled the preorder crystal vendors for reasons I do not know, but will be restored sometime in the near future.

I agree with the OP 100%. Its funny actually, he explained what I always imagined perfectly. I would LOVE to see this implemented and I would even love a dev response regarding this since so many people seem to be for it. Edit: I will say, however, that I do not mind the current animations, but I'd definitely love to see the change some time in the near future. (Hopefully)
