  1. Hey! For quite a time I'm facing problem with the performance of my SWTOR. For a starter here is my comp: Win 7 Interl Core i7-2600K CPU 3.40GHz 3.40GHz 8 GB RAM Nv GeForce GTX 580 I tried to run the game on high, medium and low and every time my FPS really drops when there more players and more effects on the screen, especially during warzones and operations. Sometimes it runs really smoothly for, let's say 5 seconds, and the back to slowness. It's really frustrating when you play a melee class and have less time to analyze the battlefield. What could be the problem?
  2. Actually you don't need 4. 3 is enough, just one person needs to do 2 activities at once, so to speak, in the last part. It's all about timing.
  3. I think the armor set from legacy vendor on DK is best you can get.

Yes, I do realise that running ahead of the team is the worst thing I could possibly do I did respec to madness lately and what I find best about it, is the fact that it has less.. well, lightning It could be just me but I get the feeling that madness is harder to spot for some players Anyway I'm doing some wz as madness from time to time and learning the class. I also noticed, as you mentioned, that LOS with self heals gives me some kind of advantage. Problem is when we fight in a place where there is no way to hide And I still die from 10k samashes, or when (probably different spec, don't know the class) Marauder roots me on leap. That is annoying, because I go down so fast It's a matter of a second to save myself from death. Anyway, the class can be really unforgiving at times. I'll see how good I can become at it and hopefully wait for some changes. Thanks to all for helpful comments:) PS. Once on Huttbal I met a healer sorc, who had the tendency to kill marauders and juggernauts with melee attack, when they were down to a few percents, giving the killing blow. Pretty amazing really - I guess the real definition of "making them pay for trying to kill us" Edit. Oh and forgot to mention, I'll watch some Psi's videos in my free time. I heard a lot about him and community really appreciates him. Thanks again!

  7. Hey! Thanks for all the answers. Having some free time I read all the posts and as I can see, there's really not much I can do about it. Quite a shame, because sometimes I have the feeling that some classes put much less effort into gameplay than I do and they still have better results. Guess I'll stick to the PvE mostly in that case, doing pvp occasionally and waiting for some changes to come.

  9. Hello! Not sure how other SI players feel about it, but I believe that it's hard for our class to achieve more traditional look, even with all the adaptive pieces around. I just feel that a CAPE is really essential For instance, imagine how cool would Grand Inquisitor's Robe or Robe of Volatile Force (and other similar looking models) look with a cape and a black dye. It could also include Phantom and Revan's robes (to be honest, Revan's armor should have had a cape from the start..). So my suggestion: if you can't/don't want to change existing models (some might prefer those) could you at least add new ones?
  10. Hello everyone! I've been PVPing as a JG Vigilance for a year and I believe I was rather good. And as much as I feel that closing the gap is more natural than kiting, I really prefer to be ranged in PVE so I rolled Sorcerer. Now that I have done a lot of PVE content I wanted to try out PVP. And I need help. I play Lightning spec. Everything is fine when I stand somewhere in the back and just use my standard PVE rotation. I manage to pull out some good numbers and have about 400k damage. Maybe not most impressive but considering that I don't have good pvp gear and I'm not a pro - it's fine for me. The problem is when I face 1vs1 with other players - particularly melee. I barely stand a chance against stealth classes, but that's fine. It seems logical that the element of surprise on a ranged class will give them a huge advantage. But when I face Juggernauts or Marauders - it's more problematic. I try to stun them, use dots, run away a bit and proceed with my thundering blast which is my highest damaging skill. And here is the problem. By the time I cast the skill the enemy is already on me. I can manage to use shock or sometimes lightning strike with chain lightning but the enemy's resposne is 10k hit. Whenever I try to run away a bit it happens again. I can only prolong my death with bubble and that's it. BUT I know that I'm not the most skilled player so I would like to know - what's the best way to fight them? How should I react after a Jugg or Mara jumps on me?

  12. Jedi Knight stuff is awesome! Much better than armor we have now. Only thing that is missing is a cape - then it would look almost like Obi-Wan's armor from Tartakovsky's Clone Wars. Apart from helmet Sith Warrior looks fine - although nothing what a Sith Lord would wear - more like another sith combatant of no importance. Agent and Smuggler is decent - nothing sepcial but not bad either. Trooper looks okay, so does BH, I think I prefer their current gear though (to be honest, they had best armor at launch in my opinion) SI is a joke, it always has been. Consular on the other hand finaly gets robes that work on both male and female (still could be better though, pregnant jedi lol) .
