  1. After I levelled a new character during the 12x XP period I was still stuck with the starter Ilum quest in my log, the one you can't abandon until you've done a load of quests that lead up to the Battle for Ilum instance. Considering that this content is now next to useless and provides nothing now that we have Makeb and Rishi/Yavin. This is just a wasted space in the log that you are forced to complete. All we need is to be able to Abandon it and carry on with levelling on the other planets.
  2. It'd be nice if people took notice of the chat. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been a healer or a tank in PvP and end up sat on a node because someone has capped and run off immediately or no-one else on the team bothered to go after the objectives. I've called incomings early and been left alone to defend against 3 or 4 opponents, although it is always fun when I switch factions and play against the same players I played with. You can then exploit the fact that they abandon objectives or don't come and support team mates.
  3. I took my Operative into a few WZs last week and ended up paired with 2 more Ops in our party. The cross healing of 6 stacks of probes per person was incredible and must have been very frustrating for the the opposition, even though in at least one match they had two of the same healing their team. Admittedly this was in 30-54 bracket which I know a lot of folks will instantly discount as not being valid PvP but it was sure was nice not to have to respawn at all, even if the WZ was won by the folks who had the most healing output (i.e. Us).
  4. I've talked about this for an age, would be very happy to see this get put live as it would open up such a huge section of the game world to us. There's a lot of awesome areas that are hidden behind giant red forcefields.
  5. I got an 8.5k crit off my 50 merc in PvP last night, I thought it was awesome, I doubt the guy on the other end felt as good about it as I did though.
  6. If I'm soloing elite mobs I can throw this down at max range and it gives me time to flee and recover a bit if things go south, or wait out a cooldown to finish. For the Courtyard boss on Makeb I use it to get out of the way of the giant laser beam. Sure you can only use it every other time he does it but Force Speed works as well. Not that EV is current content but you can use it there as well for making sure you get to the outer ring before the platforms drop.
  7. This, so much this. I've really enjoyed being in the Civil War and seeing I am the ONLY person on my team in the backfield trying to take down the healers. Sadly there is normally a healer healing the healer I'm trying to kill while the rest of my team is fighting the guarded guys pushing off the node. It's always fun watching people ignore marked players too.
  8. I'd love to know how your team apparently had 13 people in it!
  9. Never keybound in any MMO previous to this but with so many abilities in TOR I've gotten into it. Definitely a keybinder now.
  10. My first Warzone under 2.0 I topped healing on my team and I was a Darkness Sin... I've noticed (on Prog) a large number of Rep teams rolling with lots of Scoundrels and Sages. Even the non-premades have more healers than appear to PvP on Imp side and it does swing the balance. The other problem is that in most warzones I've had to tell the team to focus on the healers. I mark them all up because no-one else seems to want to and every time we fight, I'm the only one attacking them so get taken out by the ranged DPS guarding them while the rest of my team focussed on the tanks or melee DPS. While healers can be very useful and have a profound impact on a teams performance, terribads learning what to do and working as a team would even that out.
  11. When I first went into a 2.0 WZ I had all my WH gear on and died so fast I thought something was wrong. All the survivability I'd been enjoying in 1.7 was gone, it was like I was a noob again. Took off all my gear other than LS and Shield and suddenly had 29k health and things went MUCH better. Overall I'm doing more damage than I was pre-2.0 by a factor of 2 in most cases. Guard a healer, make him your friend and then damage debuff the enemy while never running out of Force for attacks. You're never going to kill stacked healers as you lack the burst for it but that's not reall your job anyway. Looking forward to seeing what happens in 55 bracket once I have to start wearing gear and gearing up again, although I am already almost at the limit for WZ comms again.
  12. The base ability has changed to grant you those extra stacks, they still vanish real quick though.
  13. I used to have some of the more common card pictures cut out and stuck to my pencil tin when I was in the final years of high school.
  14. Or perhaps any EU that did get in is too busy playing to check out the forums!
