  3. Read the 4 piece set bonus of marauders, then come back. And that alacrity for Carnage is a must in many different situations. And i really dont think that it should be that way, without that Marauder would be boring and a lot simpler to play...
  4. i dont see any issue with this what so ever, our raidgroup consists of Operative, 2 Marauders and Mercenary (DPS) and atm we have both oricon instances clear. As a matter of fact, i love that i can build my 30 stacks during bloodthirst, once it runs out you have another set of berserk and combine that with the set bonus - +4% damage for another 15 seconds if you time it right. Yes you cant stack bloodthirst anymore, but thats a minor downside in my opinion, marauder on its own is one of the best DPS classes in the game at the moment (Sniper still rocking the leaderboards) and bloodthirst is nowhere near as effective as armor debuff in the long run.

  6. i dont know, im running Power augments since the beginning of times (when i started playing) I have read many guides and this quistion is really up for debate. Without any crit and with power augments i still have near 20% crit, which i think is enough for carnage (dont know annihilation). On the other side, with the new gear, i am thinking to switch to strenght augments, just to see which i do better with, since almost every top parse i see on torparse is with full strenght augments. Just my 2 cents about this topic
  7. remember its 20% chance per time you do it, so basically the RNG god was not on your side, thats pretty much it
  8. don't know why you are hitting enrage, my raidgroup did this boss in NiM first try with 2.8k DPS Operative, 2.7k DPS marauder, 2.1k dps marauder and 1.5k dps marauder, didnt even hit enrage.

  10. To beat the Styrak you need to have 2100 dps per Damage dealer, not hard to achieve. That being said, that marauder of yours is doing poorly, marauders are in my opinion 2nd best dpsers, nr. 1 being snipers, but marauders are capable of doind 3000 dps with 72 gear. My guild has done S&V HC without any wipes in under 2 hours, so the instance on HM is not that hard, just need some 2100 dpsers. (Major problem to clear NiM, since every dpser in NiM has to do at least 2500 - 2800 dps, and only a small percentage of DPSers can pull that off)
  11. Im a carnage marauder and i can get over 3000 dps on operations dummy. My stats are: Strength: ~2600 Endurance ~3000 Crit chance: no crit at all, only from buffs and base Surge: 70 - 75% Accuracy: Melee 100%, Force 110% Power: 850 - 900 Alacrity: 0 Basically, you want power over any other stat on mods and enhancements, that means forget crit chance. Your main damage does come from Force Scream, Massacre, Ravage and Vicious Throw and how you manage your Gore windows.
  12. bollocks Me (DD marauder) and my friend Healer (Sorcerer) ran both HM flashpoints, only the 2 of us, labs - 2 tries for 1st boss, 2 tries for 2nd boss and 1st try end boss. (not hard at all) Other one was even easier, no wipes at all. These FP's are easy as hell.
