  1. The Peacemaker's Unstable Lightsaber, which I opened 3 hypercrates trying to get is now up to 175 Million on Ebon Hawk. Thank you BioWare for the middle finger to a loyal customer. Your cash grabs know no bounds... Cheers to EA.
  2. First of all, good point on needing to do it to other types too. Second, I still have to disagree. Really rare rewards are one thing, but just locking stuff behind obscene gates in a cash grab really show what BW and EA think of the player base. I'm starting to feel treated like a battlefront gamer. Lots of money... Little content...
  3. @BioWare The cartel packs are beginning to get out of hand. Even the silver decorations are going for millions. I buy two hypercrates every time, and my revenue on the GTN doesn't cover the cost of what I'm not getting. I know you guys love the cash grab that is the packs, but can you please loosen the gates? When every companion costs 15 mil, every lightsaber (since 90% are platinum now) 100 mil, your average chair for your stronghold 1 mil, a centerpiece 10 mil. Even buying two hypercrates, I'm finding my cost per pack to get all vehicles, single bladed sabers and pets to be between 50 and 125 mil. This most recent pack will be worse. That means you're not getting enough to your average player. People like me will ultimately run dry in funds, and they'll leave because they can't get anything cool. They just took a hacksaw to gearing in the command system, please stop punishing us in the packs, which, incidentally, pay your salaries.
  4. Why take our achievements, that's complete BS. Buld new achievements. It sounds like there was something screwy in the code, and this was the easy way to handle it... BioFail
  5. Update: Current Ebon Hawk Prices for Platinum Sabers Stronghold Defender's Lightsaber: Available for Cartel Certificates (None on GTN at present) Valor: Available for Cartel Certificates (One on GTN for 60M) Unstable Arbiter's Lightsaber: 46M, 70M, and 89M Unstable Arbiter's Dualsaber: 15M, 17M, and 18M Defiant Vented Lightsaber: 79M and 80M Defiant Vented Dualsaber: 9M, 10M, 15M, 24M, and 15M Senya Tirall's Llightsaber: 90M, 94M, and 95M Senya's Lightsaber Pike: 80M and 99M As you can see, the single blades are stupid rare and expensive... Thanks BW
  6. Dear Bioware, I'm not sure what has led you to hate Jedi and Sith so much lately, but please stop making every freaking cartel market lightsaber platinum. The drop rate is too rare, and us collectors are starting to get poor. None of the other classes have to pay so high a tax for their cartel market weapons. It's not cool. Thanks - A really poor collector...
  7. Update for Devs: I completed The Black Talon. The achievement then flashed as completed on my screen and in my chat as complete, and the tracker for the achievement disappeared. Additionally, the time-stamp updated on the achievement itself in the achievements interface updated to when I beat that last boss. I did notice that my points did not update in the Legendary category. However, the total is correct. The faux completion must have already applied the points.
  8. Whenever I submit a bug report in game, it never shows up in my ticket list. I'm not sure if they never get created or if I just can't see them. As a result I subbed a forum post for Dark Vs Light: Flashpoint Master Broken in 4.7 Please Advise.
  9. Dark vs Light: Flashpoint Master seems bugged with 4.7. Before 4.7, the last hard mode I needed to complete for the achievement was The Black Talon. Now the ahievement itself (in the achievements interface) is marked complete with a time-stamp of when I logged into 4.7 for the first time. Additionally, the achievement tracker in my user interface is still up for the achievement. It says I still need The Black Talon; the tracker shows 0/1 The Black Talon. Furthermore, Depths of Manaan, which I completed while the achivement was bugged, is now back in the tracker. It says 2/1 Depths of Manaan. Because the achievement is complete in the achievements interface, I can't untrack it. Please Help
  10. The packs need to guarantee a drop from that specific pack. Otherwise it is useless to me. I have bought two hypercrates every release ever. Now that I just get a bunch of rehashed bronze garbage, kiss that good bye. I'm not going to waste the money. In a hypercrate of 30 packs, less than 10 contained items from the current pack... Ergo... Not buying new packs. The really alarming thing is that this was "thought out." Anybody promoting this as a good idea is a sellout (or a shiny new player with nothing to start).
  11. I can tell you that I will no longer buy hypercrates. I used to buy 2 hypercrates every release... Now BW will get no extra money. They should gurantee one pack item from that pack in each pack. In an entire hypercrate. I got 3 armor boxes, one vehicle, and three decos. Everything else was garbage from the Chance Cubes. It's worse than Mafia Wars roll garbage.
  12. Clarification question regarding Bonus Series. Can you describe how the Bonus Series work with the planetary level cap? For example, you cited being dropped to Level 32 on Alderaan, but the bonus series there isn't available until around level 40. Is there an adjustment for the missions one has active?
  13. Additional Thought: HM Flashpoint bonuses should always grant a decoration, like the level 50s. The new 60's should be updated accordingly. Basically BioWare should do everything they can to get as many different decorations in as many hands as possible with the exception of HM/NM operations type stuff. This fosters the hunger for such items and pushes potential unlocks through Cartel Coins.
  14. I think it is time to re-evaluate decorations and how they are introduced to the game. The vast majority are introduced as items in a cartel pack. The problem with this is that your average hypercrate right now is only likely to net you 8-15 total decorations. This is such a slow saturation, and it is resulting in ridiculous GTN prices on said decorations. I would advise that at a minimum, each pack include one decoration. Make it a standard item category per pack. I would also advise creating an alternate way to get duplicate items. Leave the current method of commissioning extra units in the game, but also add a cartel coin option (similar to collections but in the decorations interface). The way this would work is by using variable pricing (Cartel Coins) based on the item type (hook size, rarity, etc) to charge for extra copies. As an example, let's say I get a Temple Chair Ornate. Instead of buying 20 more for my stronghold at 200,000 credits a pop, yikes, I can buy extra copies for cartel coins. I could buy 5 more chairs for 20 cartel coins, 10 for 38, 25 for 88, and all 50 (other 49) for 145 cartel coins. This lets players have more access to copies, and it makes BioWare money. The issue I'm running into, especially with the upcoming limit increase, is that I don't have enough decorations of the right type for each stronghold. For example, I would love to buy the Yavin stronghold, but if I did, I would want it to be very Sith oriented. The downside is that all my Sith-like decorations are currently in my DK stronghold, which I also love. Ideally, I'd turn off my Tatooine for Yavin, but without the right type of decorations (because I couldn't get what I wanted out of packs or afford it on the GTN), I'm not willing to spend the cartel coins on Yavin. That's missed revenue for BioWare, and that is less good than more revenue based on the model above... All food for thought.
  15. I think it would be a good idea to do something more with stronghold decorations. The bulk of the good stuff, or any current releases, are locked in packs, and they have a very low drop rate. I bought two Deep Core Explorer's hypercrates and only got around 12 decorations. That seems very light on saturation. It makes the prices for everything prohibitive on the GTN. I mean, it's costing 300,000 Credits just to buy a chair or a light for the Force's sake... That doesn't seem right. I feel like there would be more life in strongholds (and revenue) if one of the following happened (or both): More decoration only sets and stand-alone decorations Each pack drops at least one decoration (like strong-hold packs).
