  1. It's great, just wish I could be granted more time to play it! It's everything I had imagined it would be! Thanks BW!
  2. This in mind, wouldnt it be in EA's interest to help that number grow, by making it a priority? BF3 and FIFA 12 sold 10 million copies - roughly $600m each (link below) Madden 5 million - roughly $300m SWTOR only 2 million, but another 1.5 million+ subs of $15 every month for 6 months so far. - roughly $250m (on the year this would be $385m assuming the subs stay that high). Maybe if EA prioritised SWTOR and helped increase the sub base, rather than prioritising games that practically sell themselves and must be approaching maximum possible sales anyway, they could be making alot more $$$$ a year? http://news.softpedia.com/news/EA-Posts-Sales-Figures-for-Battlefield-3-and-FIFA-12-User-Count-for-SW-TOR-and-Origin-250293.shtml
  3. Its genuine intrigue on my part having very little PVP or Endgame experience with other games. Just interested if other MMO's deliver this content in a better way? Please dont reply "Yes, other MMO's do it better", I would honestly just like to know how? if at all...
  4. Yeah surely the opposite should be said, no specific numbers but, "we are investing heavily into SWTOR, it has a bright future! " Its got to have caused serious friction between Bioware and EA, like "Hey this is our first MMO, dont put people off, how we gonna sell another?" I would be peeeased off if I was BW big wig. Would any of us bother with another BW/EA mmo if this one is abandoned?
  5. I have very little PVP experience in other MMO's, so could you explain what these PVPers are doing differently on other games? Do they not also wait for a small number of WZs? I mean if other MMO's offer a great deal more variety fair enough. If there were 5-10 WZ's to queue for would that change the game for PVPers? No offence intended, just another post stating a problem but no suggestion for a solution, or even comparison to other popular PVP MMO's. I.E. "at least in ********* online, there are 6 WZ's to queue for"...
  6. Agreed chat has been a little underwhelming! Thank you for your positivity, its helped me off the forums and back into the game I love! I'll be back in another 6 months, to see if the complaints have changed at all
  7. Blackardin, youve saved me from a day of getting annoyed at the forums, and back into the game I love. Thank you.
  8. Expect more of the same, players rushing to the end of the game only to complain its the end of the game. Player base drops people pick a new title to geek about. Rinse and repeat?
  9. Anyone know at what point an mmo's (or more importantly this mmo's) population drops off to much and the game gets pulled? Are the fans of this game safe?
  10. Yeah but you shouldnt mess with the Shcwartz. How many *****holes are on this ship anyway?
  11. Cool, and I am right in thinking that just because fleet population is low it doesnt indicate that server pop is low, more that the players on a given server are busy playing with friends or guildies, instead of hanging around on fleet?
  12. ????? not sure if Ive misunderstood you, but when i go to search and dont "search" a location it gives me the location of the FIRST 100 players? meaning if theres only 40 on fleet, at least 60 players are off doing other things? Is this wrong?
  13. Im not on the fence, and I will play till the bitter end (im just hoping thats years off yet!). I at first agreed with those that said the worlds feel lifeless, but now my opinion has changed. The worlds are detailed and life like in the amount going on, people talking, air traffic, soldier types patrolling etc but each world is empty player wise... How about larger servers with more phases, allowing planets like Taatooine and Hoth to fill up a little.... OK so it might be annoying trying to switch phases to join friends or guildies, but the pay off would be higher population in other areas other than fleet (one of the smallest locations in the game, yet with highest player density).
  14. Fair enough, sometimes if fleet pop is low, I take a peak at the search list, and it reminds me that players are off playing, not just hanging around on fleet I can understand frustration if you cant find a group for a certain flashpoint or for PVP, but maybe take it easy and level an alt or help lower level characters, or join a guild, or form a guild! I think there are plenty of options, and different ways to play, although the most common seems to be get to level cap as quickly as possible and then complain theres nothing to do! (thats not aimed at you personally!) I have a 3 year old daughter who drinks her juice too quickly and then cries when theres none left...cant help but draw a comparison to some of the players of this game!
