I am considering starting a juggernaut tank and I like what I've heard about pierce. Can I equip him so that he can be a decent dps? I am also curious for the sake of knowing this in regards to companions in general.

I'm tryin to decide what character I'll be next, but I'm having trouble. I'm thinking about inquistitor or consular. I would like to try a shadow/assassin but I like the armr I've seen from sorcerer/sage. I've heard that advanced class makes no difference on armor: that any bounty hunter can have any armor available to a bounty hunter and they will look the exact same and ect (as long it's not maurader/juggernaut where there is light/medium/heavy difference between the advanced classes). Is this the case or do assassin's have different looking late game armor?

I'm a focus dps sentinel pve, and i've heard of alot of people liking watchman. just wondering what peoples opinions are on which is better and which does what. my understanding is watchman does better constant damage but focus does better burst. is this true? if it is, is one superior in pve or is it a choice thing?

Also why would you use sweeping blasters and make yourself a target among 5 enemies? Better to dot the people trying to take the door then LOS because most medics don't think about clearing the dot. Besides the heat from sweeping and the dot is almost the same. what is dot and los?

ok i'm trying to decide if i should use the arsenal or pyrotech trees on a pvp mercenary. i've been trying to read up on people's opinions, but it has only managed to confuse me more. can someone please explain to me the difference in play style between the two? what is the basic strategy involved? as far as i can tell, with an arsenal you want to stack tracer missiles and with pyrotech you want to set your enemy on fire using certain moves because you do more damage with the guy is on fire? please try not to use TOO much appreviations without explaining what they are, because i may or maynot understand what you mean.
