  1. maybe a little late. but still... http://swtor.gamingfeeds.com/2011/12/15/guide-managing-custom-chat-channels/ Probably found this on your own by now. I was looking for info on cross-faction chat myself when i found thread.
  2. I am confident that they will correct it so you are transported back to your original location when entering the fp using the group tool. So I hope that will put your score at 9/10 at least. Also, consider the 1.3 Legacy Unlock for Field Respecialization when it comes to queueing for multiple roles. Of course some people are still going to accidentally queue for role they didn't intend to. At least with field respecialization some people will be intending to be ready to play more then one role. Maybe 9.5/10? I am glad to read a positive post about the new content. Very exciting stuff for everyone who enjoys the game and/or our community. *edit: From what I understand the field respec is just like using a Skill Mentor. So I acknowledge it's not quite as convenient as dual spec in wow; just activating your other spec with points already allocated. Will have to respend them each time. Still works.
  3. they said they would transfer set bonus as long as you put the armoring mod in the same type of armor. i.e chest to chest; leg to leg. hope that helps.
  4. Best way to raise Ashara affection is making sure you have her summoned for dialogue choices and choosing the ones she likes of course. She doesn't like many gifts UNLESS you romance her. If you're romancing a companion then they gain more affection from the gifts you give them. If you choose the [Flirt] dialogue options when you are speaking with her during a private companion chat on your ship she likes everything except Trophy and Underworld Good. Romancing your companion is also practiaclly the only use for Courting companion gifts. Stock up on those too, but not too many. Get companion gifts from crew tasks. I've been farming companion gifts lately and I've maxed out several companions affections. I used this chart to help decide who should get what gift and mailed gifts to my other characters who's companion would enjoy the gift more. http://dulfy.net/2012/04/22/companion-gifts-and-crafting-bonuses-for-1-2/ Some are hard like Ashara, she's an airhead. Others like Blizz for example are really easy. So don't give up. Another piece of advice, don't gift your companion all the way to 10000 because you will gain affection from the conversations you have with them.
  5. You can't use Seethe while in stealth. If an assassin was in combat and used Vanish to stealth and exit combat, he can't use Seethe to regain health unless he drops stealth first. Therefore stealth characters don't receive and advantage of being able to "drop combat and heal in your face while dots are ticking on them".
