  1. It would encourage people who arn't ready for or have t he mindset for ranked PvP to join in. Wanted to get a daily done, rather than do well drags down those who want to take PvP more seriously. Ranked PvP is for those who want to treat it more seriously. Dailies are for encouraging casual players to do activities IMHO.
  2. I've enjoy 55 so far, and got it at RotHC launch, so I don't feel cheated. However, perhaps as a way to smooth over relations, is to give people who bought RotHC before the cartel coin date preferred pricing and/or early access to the next expansion, so as to keep it relevant to those who are already obviously willing to be early adopters of new content.
  3. Cartel coins just add a monetary value to me being a subscriber, and only for being one at the time the CCs were given out. I'd prefer a system that not only rewards being a subscriber right now, but for having been a subscriber for a long time, and for continuing to be one. As a result I'd love to see the long-term plan be a veteran rewards program related to subscriptions.
  4. This is less about macros, but certainly falls into external devices/keybindings. What about using a controller with programs that allow you to map keybindings, given SWTOR doesnt have built-in controller support? Example of a layout with an XBox 360 Controller: ABXY = 1-4 Hotkeys Holding ABXY = 5-8 Hotkeys "Combos" of ABXY = Hotkeys 9+ (and shift+1, ctrl+1, etc.) Left Thumbstick = Move Right Thumbstick = Move Camera Bumper = Tab Target Maybe a separate profile for space combat as well. Is that OK?
  5. So I have three ideas for cartel Market Additions: New Toys - Holocrons Basically use the animation/healing style of the Life Day Orb, but replace it with Holocrons. Two different types, with two colors each - the Jedi Cube, and the Sith Pyramid Holocrons, each with respective Blue/Green or Red/Purple glows/styles. Generic Titles - "The " and "Codename " For people with more "nickname" names, like "Headshot" could have the title "Codename" for "Codename Headshot" or a name like "Watchman" to be called "The Watchman". Basically titles which treat your names as aliases or nicknames. Headpieces - A hood Very simple idea, a hood that you can basically use to add a hood onto any costume. Preferably a separate item you can buy off the market, like how the eradicator's helm was released.
  6. As an RPer, I fully support this. Multiple chairs too, from barstools to desk charis, Sith Thrones, to Jedi hover-chairs, to the chairs the Jedi council sit on in the movies.
  7. I'd be more inclined toward the schematics for these armors be put up on the cartel market. Maybe as a "container" in one of the new cartel packs. Think how you get a "House Thul Upper Armor" box, instead its a box with 2-3 random schematics. Allows both cartel market, and player crafting economy to gain from this.
  8. I'd do something that LOOKS like a cigarette or cigar... but isn't. Or heck, if it is, make it give you a 5 min debuff or something. Smoking's bad mmkay?
  9. I'd especially support if they make the headpiece somehow work with Twi'lek lekku. It's worth Bioware's time imho to make some twi'lek-suppported headpieces.
  10. By far, Mandalorian Neo crusader armor. Preferably with 2.1, this would somehow include a way to do the different color schemes, since they all meant different ranks. It'd be cool to get a set of true mandalorian armor Also, the varying Old Republic Military uniforms. Example from a swtor video is here. Heck, maybe even Mandalore the Lesser's armor (though not really a KotOR wishlist item) Now to go on Kotor "armor" Nostalgia wishlist, how about also companion skins for HK-51 - Specifically HK-50, and HK-47 skins. Eventually may be cool to add alternate "assassin droid" models as skins. Think how T3, the Jedi Knight's companion has different models for his skins. Now, you mentioned Visas Marr's Outfit - what would be cool is if they start adding more customizations to the "kiosk" coming in 2.1, and say Visas Marr's "headpiece" was another Miralukan option you could unlock from cartel packs. Could also feed into other things, like Darth Sion's eyes for all species, Bao-Dur's various levels of lightside/darkside tatoos for Zabrak etc.
  11. 40$, not a single thing I wanted was obtained. Wasn't even shooting high, wanted any one of a whole mess of items. Instead I got a ton of duplicates from previous packs (return of same emotes, same weapons, etc.) tons of Tier 6 crafting mats which are absolutely worthless. I get the same crap Thul statesmen armor FOUR TIMES. FOUR. No Tirumphant armor, no holo disguise, no mounts, no helmets, Red Blades _pants_. All the crap that noone wants will happily drop. I have to re-stress - Grade 6 crafting mats too? Who the heck is this useful for anymore? This whole stupid scratch-ticket system to getting things you want is reminding me why I almost let my sub lapse. All the good things I felt about SWTOR with Makeb and 2.0 is quickly scuttled today when I'm reminded of the near bait-and-switch you have with Cartel Packs. If I'd gotten a single thing I wanted, I wouldnt complain. Instead I simply want my 40$ back.
  12. I too disagree with this move. Given all that has been stripped away from space missions - from repeated removal of credits, to a rather lacking set of reputation rewards (compare the rep vendor to Section X, Makeb, or Gree and tell me rewards are on par. Only rep rewards that are just as bad off is Voss), Space has always felt like a system that Bioware only made because the game has the word "Star" in the title. The Elite Comms were the major perk of doing these missions lately. Unless Bioware intends to do a system where you can trade-up Basic & Fleet Comms for Elite Comms, I don't agree on this. It is yet another example of a dis-incentive to space missions. This has been a facet of the game which has been sorely lacking since launch, and was only ever touched by adding the challenge of Heroics, but has since removed the rewards that came with it. If anything, I've been hoping Bioware would expand the Staged Weekly System that they have with Makeb to add a Staged Weekly series of space missions and their dailies. Let alone co-op space or open space.
  13. I agree in a way, but in such if you're not in a guild, then the guild window should have a guild search function. People could mark their guids with varying levels of PvE, PvP, Leveling, RP, etc. for people to search for. Further, I'd think this should be part of a larger guild overhaul. Guild calendars, levels, perks, Alliances/Adversaries, etc.
  14. The Orange Bind on Legacy gear from past events - Rakghoul and Chevin - did not have any level requirements (purple weapons with actual stats did). As a result, I was able to transfer some of that gear to alts to wear to offset any ugly equipment they had. Same thing should apply here - especially with the weapons. I would start playing a Commando today, if I could use that Gree canon. I'd also feel more inclined to do more Section X stuff to get the trooper-like chestpiece for a lower level Bounty Hunter I have. Given orange equipment doesn't come with any stats, please remove level requirements from them or at least lower them to something like 10 or 15 (like Collector's Edition Armor).
