  1. Yes, that's exactly my point. A companion does not mean that we are their superior.
  2. I don't see why they BW didn't add force users for the non-force classes. I mean, they are our companions, not our slaves, followers, crew, troops, lackeys, etc. By definition they are people who are traveling with you, and I'm sure the creative writing team could think of some reason for a force user to travel with you.
  3. More variety in equipment would be an excellent thing. Definitely in favor of it. Having said that, I very much like the 'officer' style clothing. My biggest complaint is instant head-shave that goes with the hats. I understand the art/programming limitations that exist with hats and hair, but I desperately hope Bioware finds a way around it. Other colors of the uniforms would also be welcome, as we have seen green, black, and white (at least) in the canon.
  4. Would be cool to see, and I hope they can implement it.
  5. Going after the majority of datacrons can be fun, but is oftentimes more frustrating than anything else. As rarianrakista says, the engine and controls feel like they just aren't up to the challenge. While I'm getting used to some of the limitations of the system, movement results are still not as repeatable as I would expect, and terrain often doesn't quite conform to what is shown on screen. I certainly wouldn't want the system scrapped, but I also see room for improvement in the areas of control response and terrain (including issues getting stuck.) Also, would like to see more puzzles in the future, and fewer twitch/timing exercises.
  6. Make sure you buy new schematics from the Biochem trainers as you level up the skill. Also, you can change the filter when viewing his items for sale to see All available schematics so you'll know when you need to return to him to get new ones. Having said that, my Biochem is ~210 now, and I find all the schematics I have use the same 1-2 rare components, so those are my big limiter in advancing further. Not sure if this is the same for the rest of the classes, but thought I would throw it out there.
  7. I believe the fabrics are currently (and mistakenly) showing up under Diplomacy. When I look for medical supplies, I have to wade through pages and pages of fabrics. That, along with the other limitations of the GTN, are likely why fabrics aren't moving as we might expect.
  8. Wow! That makes all kinds of sense as to what is happening. I certainly hope this is not what is intended, but it explains what we are currently seeing. This is great to know, and wish I had seen this earlier. Thanks so much!
  9. Saw a guild called <Spaceballs The Guild> which I found quite amusing.
