  1. that is what our thoughts on it were aswell, kinda sucks being killed by it, but it would make it easier to do conquest commanders
  2. Well with full 336, fully augmented, im about 8k as a tank, 7k as a dps or healer. The player I saw was Caedes with a funny a. He was a shadow. Not much else I can say other than 4 of us did about 5% dmg to him as he 1 shot each of us, and he had 29k hp.
  3. Theres a player running around with 29k HP on Tatt. How is that possible???
  4. Yeah I dont really see the expansion here, or atleast calling it an expansion. Take 2.4 vs the new D. Expansion coming up. Both introduce a new way to PvP. One with Arenas the other with space combat. We already have PvP and we already have space combat (although not very good) But 2.4 also introduced 2 new Ops, new gear sets for PvE and PvP, a new planet with a new daily area, new reputation. Seems like this expansion is very similar in scope to 2.4 but more focused on a single topic, space. Now lets look at the last expansion, new planet story, new dailies, new dailies on old planets, introduction of SGR, level cap increase, major class balances, new abilities, new HM FPs, OPs changes and upgrades, new OPs, a few hours worth of content, While this isnt a real xpac, it is atleast expanding the sw universe and the players growth within it. 2.4, nor this next expansion, will do that. So they may aswell call this for what it is, another patch.
  5. Lets assume you do each of the 2 old OPs and TC on SM. You'll get what, 20 for TfB, 28 for SnV and 4 for TC? Thats a total of 52 coms. Now we can easily add comms from CZ and Orizon Weeklies, another 24? For a total of 76 Comms? Now assume we do 1 HM FP a night using group finder. Thats almost 20 per night. Thats another 140ish comms there for a total of 216ish comms per week. Total time would be 4-5 hours for the 3 ops, and 3-6 hours for the 7 FPs. So somwhere around 7-11 hours of content. Add in the weeklies, maybe another 2 hours. So Perhaps 8-13 hours of playtime and you have already over capped your Elite Comms. Obviously your time will varry depending on your group and gear and skill levels but I think its safe to say with less than 2 hours of gameplay each night, or 3 hours of game play 5 nights a week and you could easily cap comms. And there are other options to get Elite comms aswell like GSI weekly, Staged Weekly, 20 Elite comms for the 4 different OP weeklies. In all reality just doing OPs, with the Weeklies included You could earn over 100 comms and still only 4-5 hours. I have to agree it seems mathmatically to low for a cap. 250 seems more reasonble. I usually cap my comms between thursday and Sat. every week.
  6. Run some FPs. Queing for group finder will put you into level appropriate fps and help build up your comms and equipment as go through them. I leveled a guardian almost exclusively in FPs only going to planets after outleveling them to get my companions for crafting. You can do Warzones aswell. And you can go back and do heroics each day aswell. You can also just farm some mobs over and over again until you catch up to Alderanns level. Your not really that far behind. I think Alderann starts at level 29 ish
  7. I liked this vid better than the one you did in the other thread.
  8. was kinda painful to watch, with those symbols constantly popping up covering the action. I suppose it illustrates that you can edit. But I was hoping for a lot more "meat" to the video, something I could get into. I was, admittedly, let down.
  9. At this point in the game? What ever spacebar spacebar spacebar 1, spacebar spacebar spacebar 1, spacebar spacebar 1, etc is. Far more entertaining to listen to the first sylabul of each section of dialoge strung together sounds like.
  10. You are correct sir, class changes are coming in 2.5. But then we can also say the same about 2.4 What was said was that in 2.5 SOME classes will receive changes, and would be first in line with Class Rep questions following 2.5. They also stated that those changes would not be significant like we saw in 2.0 but rather a "new" set of changes. This leads me to believe that the changes in 2.4 will be similar to the changes we see in 2.5. Expect changes to op/scoundrels dps and perhaps shadow/assassins. Maybe even Sage/Sorcs if they are lucky. There will probably be minor tweeks here and there for other classes but doubtful they will have significant impact. It was stated early on not to expect "crazy big changes." They would then revisit class balance after we have seen the changes. This is why many of us assume 2.6 would also sponsor class changes. Though that part is just conjecture.
  11. agreed, attacking anyone for their sexual orientation is rude. It does infact show someone that you lack self respect. AND as I'm fairly knowledgable about the.....disrespectful things that are said in general chat, I can only assume, as you have, that what was being sad was sad a pathetic. My original comment, to which you responded to, was not in regards to whether what was said was respectful or disrespectful, but rather the certainty of claiming homophobs are "losers." Well say, for sake of arguement, that Bill Gates or Steve Jobs were either homophobic, or anti-homosexual (dont fear homosexuals but dont support their lifestyle choice) Would you say they were now losers because of their opinions? I think we can agree both men were/are very successful individuals and leaders in their fields. We can certainly say they paved the road for the rest of us to follow. They are anything but losers. And their opinions, on any matter, regardless of how we feel about it, wont change the fact that they are anything but losers. More to the point, I think anyone who responded with unkind words to the OP in general chat were anything but respectful. But there is always the slight chance that nothing disrespectful was said, and the OP is simply blowing things way out of perportion due to disagreements of opinions, or that others didnt vocalize their support for his/her opinion. Unlikely, but still possible.
  12. I must say you really....ummmm You lost me there. How exactly does self respect have anything to do with picking your nose in public? You dont pick your nose in public because its kinda gross and anti hygenic. You dont do it out of respect for those around you....not because you lack self respect. Lacking Self respect is usually ilustrated by doing, saying or acting a certain way, that you wouldnt normally find respectful, inspite. For example if my daughter decided to wear inappropriate clothes to gain the attention of a guy, and would not normally wear these cloths, that would be an example of having no self respect. Being homophobic isnt always about respect anyways. Its technically about fear. Fear of homosexual contact. It isnt about being disrespectful either. For example a homophob may fear that allowing their children to spend time with a homosexual will increase the chances of their child becoming a homosexual. This doesnt have to mean that they disrespect the homosexual, but rather they do not approve of, at a bare minimum, their child becoming homosexual, or at most, the other person being homosexual. Now far to often homophobs act disrespectful to homosexuals, and sometimes even violently. But being homophobic doesnt neccesarily mean you WILL be disrespectful to that person. In short your statement seems a bit...skewed....and ackwardly written.
  13. Remember that being right-winged doesnt neccessairly translate into social issues. For example you can be fiscally conservative and socially liberal or the other way around. Also one can be considered socially conservative, being Pro-life, pro-religious freedom, anti large government, ect, and still have some liberal ideas aswell like LGBT. For example people who are LGBT may be conservative. A better way to explain it is what determines your right wing vs left wing isnt individual concepts but rather the sum of many many many different concepts. Even Evangelic Christians tend to split on the idea of homosexuallity. For example many denominations have opened their door and welcome homosexuals like Faithbridge type churches. Others tend to maintain tolerance without support, ie they are people who have rights even if its a sin. Others are staunch opponents to homosexuality. Though we can see most of these churches, regardless of their view on homosexuality, are still considered "rightwingers"
  14. there are a few tweeks in 2.4, nothing major. Eric posted that they are holding off on major class balances till after 2.4 Most think this means either 2.5 or 2.6 but I dont think its been stated. What has been stated is that they want to see the effects of Arenas before they make any changes. As per your other question. There is very little information about what changes we might see. You would need to read the class question responses to get an idea of how the Devs view the classes weaknesses or strengths to get an idea of what they might or might not change. A good example would be the scoundrel post. Several hints were given on what they are looking at like changing the set bonuses or altering their quick shots to be a more functional filler attack. They also talked about changing Freighter Flyby to be more useful but less damaging. What over all changes will see for 2.5 or 2.6, well just have to wait and see.
  15. Wait, are you saying being anti-homosexual makes you a loser?
