  1. The game mode is there for only a week and it already struggles to sustain itself? Why should this become better? Obviously many players already don't enjoy the game mode and when new people arrive they will come to the same conclusion (and additionally they will be crushed by fully upgraded experienced players). The game mode simply isn't able to deliver a fun experience to most players, thus most players will abandon it. You can't fix that with more rewards, only by making the game mode fun for more players.
  2. Then you have to cut down the mission number from 30-40 to 10.
  3. I wasn't referring to the cookie problematic, but to ISP who automatically disconnect your internet connection every 24h and assign a new IP, which requires a new activation email with Star Wars, but not with Steam (or Cryptic/Perfect World or whoever else uses the kind of activation system).
  4. The IP adress of the provider contains the provider name. And you have the MAC adress of the PC. If the same PC with the same provider from the same region logs in, isn't that more than enough information to easily asume, that it is the same user and no activation is necessary? It is really stupid that I have to wait every day for an email to log in. Steam has basically the same system and they don't send me an email every day.
  7. While the game is overall fun, one thing that really annoys me are the countless shortcomings of the UI. And many of that should be easy to fix. So here are things I'd like to see improved: General: Why is there not a single UI window that can remember its last settings? Why do I have to tell the group finder every time I log in that I'm not a healer? Why do I have to tell the crafting window every time I want my schematics sorted by level, not difficulty? Why do I have to tell the merchant window every time I want him to sort stuff by price, not name? Why do I have to collapse the planet commendations (that are meaningless at lvl 50) every time when I want to see how many PVP marks I have? I could give countless examples. This is only annoying. Galaxy map It looks ok, but it sems like the person who designed never thought anyone would actually ever use it When you select a system, why do have to mouse over every single planet to find the one you want to go to? Why is there not either a list at the side of the screen with each planet (and space mission) or a text box next to each planet? (and how about small animated planets instead of 4 arrows?) When you have a space mission, why is there no UI hint where it is? You have to check every single system (because you are only told that there are space missions in that system, but neither which one or wether you need one of them) and every single space mission marker (see point above). And if you have a space operation (complete 2 missions or so) you don't even get a UI hint anywhere on the galaxy or system map wether a mission counts toward that operation. Merchant window There is an "Show usable" filter. But why is there no "Show usable by companion" filter? There are merchants sell stuff with different levels (eg for PVP) Why is there no "Sort by level" filter, so that you don't have to check every piece of lvl 20 gear to find the lvl 40 gear? The merchants for planet commendations sell gear for all classes. So you see a lot of stuff that you can use, but that is useless for you. So why is there no filter for primary attribut (strength, willpower, aim), that either excludes all gear with primary attributes except one or only shows those with the specific attribute? That would make browsing those merchants a lot more comfortable When you want to buy an item that requires something you wear (eg upgraded PVP gear, that requires the previous item), the item is marked as not affordable. Crafting The crew management window tells you have many companions you can use (max deployable), but why not how many are deployed? (minor issue, but you can only see 4 companions and you can have up to 6, possibly more in the future) Your class trainer has its own map icon and over head icon. Why is the same not used for the schematics merchant, so that you can see at once where to find him and don't have to check all icons on the map? It's especially annoying at the crafting window, where you have to manage dozens of schematics, that the window won't save its settings like selected filters or collapsed categories (see general above) Same like with the merchant window, there should be a primary attribute filter for schematics (only aim, etc) There should be a filter to only show schematics for items that can be reverse engineered for new schematics Let's say I have an "agile mod 25". I put it in my armor and suddenly a have a "mod (58)". Why does the 25 turn into a 58? Why is the denotation of mods not coherent? How is a new player supposed to understand, that if he has mod(58) in his armor and wants to upgrade it he has to buy a mod 27? Either the rating should be put into the mod name ("agile mod (58)") or the mod number into the mod slot ("mod(25)") or both ("agile mod 25 (58)"). But not one denotation here, a different there. Why are schematics you already know not marked in some way? If a recipe drops in a flashpoint is for sale on a merchant there should be a clear indication, wether you could learn the schematic or not. Flashpoints You are the first at a NPC needed for a progression dialogue. You talk to him, wait for the others to talk to him as well. You are ready to initiate the conversation, have the cursor over the button, ready to click. The last group member is ready... and the button moves up. Silly problem, but you really have to wonder. Why is the button position not fixed? While the dialogues are fine for 2-3 runs, later they become just an annoyance. Why is there no option to autoskip all dialogues after a certain number of runs? And an option that will automatically choose a random answer for all steps? Or at least all except those that change your alignment? When a body or chest has marks (Columni, etc). Why are those not automatically distributed to the group members when one member loots the body/chest? While this is overall already annoying with bodies, it becomes really annoying with chests. Because only one person at a time can loot it and then there is even a cool down on the chest. Great fun on raids. And when you try to loot something with lotto loot, why do you get a seperate window with all the items (and commendations of other players) ? Unless you have a leader loot system there should be no reason to show this window Misc In the crew window (or somewhere else) there should be a comprehensive tool tip about the role (ranged, melee, tank, dps, etc) and primary stat (aim, etc) of a companion. You shouldn't have to delve into the codex for this or check 3rd party sites. For the large tool tip (lower right corner at the map), there should be an option to have it always on top. Eg, when I switch gear to see the effects on my spells I can't see the result because all windows will always be on top of the large tool tip. Or I want to spend skill points, try to find the affected spells in my hot bar and can't read their names, because the tool tip is behind the skill tree window. Skill tree (and equipment bonus) changes to spells should be reflected in the tool tips. Pretty much self-explanatory. When I get skills that add effects or modifiy my spells I'd like to see the result. Item comparison should denote the existence of augmentation slots. If you compare two items, one with an augmentation, the other without. And the other would be better with the augmentation, the item comparison should make that obvious (numbers with or without augmentation in brackets, whatever, There are plenty possibilites.) Item comparison should be made available for ship equpiment Why can't you compare chat links with your items? Well, that's quite a list Hopefully some of these suggestions will make it into the game anytime.
  8. Could you clarify, what exactly are your intentions with the character transfer service? a) Spread the existing population more evenly across all servers b) concentrate the existing population on less servers Considering the decline in subscriptions (-25 %) you'd assume that your aim is b). 25 % less players, you can cut 25 % of the servers. But then it would be logical to simply merge some low pop servers to create bigger servers with more players. In that case it would make no sense to offer optional transfers. If a server has a low population allowing players to leave the server would only increase that problem. So it seems like you aim for a). But why would anyone on a high population server want to leave that server and go to low population server? So could you please elaborate, what is your ultimate goal with the character transfers?
  9. When you get in combat the effect of the run speed buff is suspended and reapplied after combat, but the buff will be maintained. When you get in combat with a vehicle the buff is suspended. Can you change this so that the vehicle buff is permanent and only the effect is suspended and automatically reapplied after combat or leaving a non-vehicle area?
  10. Do you have a link to confirm this or is it just hearsay?
