this did not disrupt your normal play, as events are a normal part of massively multi-player role playing games, some might be optional others might not, as even if you avoid this you might loosely be involved, just sell your dna samples and move along like a logical customer rather than someone who wants to ruin the fun for everyone else and put red tape all over events to keep the hypersensitive happy.

this would be like joining a basket ball team, realising you dont like the hoop and then complaining about it expecting them to change it to more like how you want it to be, where as in reality if you didnt like the sport you just dont play it, you dont whinge and whine and try to get it removed and ruin the fun for everyone else. The players trying to get this event stopped are the kids who ruin other kids birthday parties because its not their day and they dont get to decide the activities at the party when you bought the game you bought access to it, that is all, your acting like its your sandbox how dare they change something in it... well sorry its not your sandbox at all.

Just wanted to correct this guy on something, it doesn't flag u for pvp unless the infection came from a flagged person of the opposite faction. Even if i had no interest in the event i wouldn't use a vaccine, so what if you get infected from time to time, just sell the DNA you get and no durability damage is taken! The players on the fleet arent there because its the fleet pass spot they are there because its the spot nearest to respawn spot after you die from infection and a bit forward so its not blocking the cargo access (on imp fleet) The players here with the issues need a reality check, you do not get to dictate what bioware do with events, leave the game if its not to your taste and stop acting so entitled over something so trivial. You can quest fine, if you die occasionally so be it, you'll be earning more credits due to selling the DNA so reviving once in a while is a non-issue! The only real issue here is if some users are incorrectly going around flagging ppl on pve servers on purpose and then camping them non stop and preventing them from play. If this happens open a ticket and they will sort those players out, again that is not the events fault but more a minority of players who get off on annoying others. I play on a pve server and have not had any issue, i once was flagged on tatt via being infected from a republic player and was killed once by him, worse comes to worse you lie dead and toggle ur pvp flag, wait 5mins get a drink or snack and you all good to go. I am not a max level character and im playing on the most populated of PvE servers... so what these other guys are complaining about i will never know. Its like they chucked a hissy because they cant have the game the way THEY wanted. If you want to avoid things like this, stick to single player where you guys can put in cheats if you want then you can be god mode and never die... maybe then you wont be so upset.

It seems many players dont realise what the players on the fleet are doing and their motives, We are using the puddle to keep the plague alive on fleet so we can easily group together and reinfect each other, to earn the reward of 5 dna per infected death... Not to grief anyone, griefing is getting enjoyment from making another players gameplay experience worse. No one is purposely infecting others to "gank" or "force pvp" or what ever nonsense theory you concoct, rather they are helping each other earn the currency for this event. On top of this, if by chance u get infected even when trying to avoid it, you have the option to buy a vaccine OR let yourself die from it, get 5 DNA, chuck a post in general offering to sell them for approx 2k each and make plenty to buy a bunch of vaccines! This is a non issue and those complaining are either lacking logic to do the above or are hypersensitive and get upset when they see their fantasy character die on screen (which doesn't affect durability/require repair) just a couple of seconds to revive. Anyone attempting a major kill, Vaccinate yourself before you start the fight! It is not that hard. ps. 30 companion boxes and no mako customisation yet! FML lol

form is now working for me, i just put in for the 2 characters i wanted to xfer, only issue is it shows every toon ive ever made even ones ive deleted, so if someone had a toon with the same name but had restarted it, it might be confusing for them! anyway looks like its all sorted and saved

Thinking of what could be the issue, this is purely guess work, but most of us have characters already on the asia pacific servers this might be creating a problem with how the form populates when trying to list characters u already have. Very few have said the form works, those few might not have any characters created on APAC servers... This would explain why most of us cant use the form but very few can. Again just a guess

Sometimes page does not load at all and says page not found, under maint etc

its been over approx 9hrs or so since the site came back up and the link on the account page has been there to go to the form which has sometimes loaded up with no chracters showing or goes to a page not found/or under maintence browser page. CSRs have come in here and said they are fixing it and it will be working in a couple of hours that was about 5hrs ago or more and they also said it will be 100% working once the email goes out, which has proven to be false, im starting to lose faith as a customer If they just said "its broke go away until tomorrow" fine but they said couple of hours and now nothing... bit rude really.

not trying to be negative or anything like that, but I am a bit worried, if they cant get the form to work on a website, how are they going to make the actual transfers work without something going very badly wrong

yep just got my email saying transfers are working, but alas the form is grey and no characters are listed

the whole 7 days thing is gonna make it hard with the reserved names dealy, anyone got any good strats for how to get around it?

is anyone able to fill the form out yet? mine still shows a grey button and no characters listed, even though i have 3 i plan to xfer that were all created way before the dead line.
