  1. Hey guys just got back to play swtor and my brother just started playing a sorcerer. As for now he is healer and I have been stuck trying to figure out what class would go great with his sorcerer for pvp. I already have a 50 juggernaut, so I am fine with any other class except a jugg since I want to start over again. Also, any play style works for me. I am just looking for any suggestions on what you guys think would be a great two man team with a sorc... Thanks in advance for any reccommendations
  2. I do not know either if those robes exist but you can actually mail things to your other characters even if their in opposite factions. It's doesnt have to be all complicated with the GTN.
  3. I play a 50 jugg and I honestly love the story. I played as DS and i thought it went great with the story. (Heard good things for LS too tho). But Your pretty much your this new up n comer apprentice. You use whatever you can to climb the ranks, which actually let you feel like a Sith because you get to deceive people. But your guy is also super strong and people kinda treat you all nice. The way your dealings with your Masters is done pretty well. The first Ch. set a good tone for me, cuz it was pretty ******. 2-3 build up to a good ending. I really enjoyed the Warrior story and I also heard really good things from Agent story, so I'd say give both a quick try n pick from there.
  4. I usually get 8-10 medals per game as well since I am a Jugg. It doesn't mean I only farmed medals... My class just let me do two things at once. So in a pvp group I guard the ppl I see being focused fired (or ball handler), so I taunt as well as do dmg. Since I am doing two things at once means I am not as proficient as a someone who is pure dps or tank, but I make my guy work. I can bring 250k dps and 50k+ prot to my team, and if your telling me that doesn't help the team then idk what you else you want. Not to mention I usually die the most from taking damage from other ppl so they can keep on healing or dpsing w/o being bothered. And I usually get these medals/stats from fighting at the objective. 3 medals for prot 4-5 for dmg 2 for obj def <--- Get that from helping the team So yeah this change is kind of troubling, but I DO understand how pure dps and pure healers get the short end of the stick at times. So instead I would rather they add more medals for those classes. Something only a pure dps or healer can get.
  5. Ooh good point. I have not had the time to experiment into the pyro spec. But the most I've heard/read about this spec is when ppl say its better on Powertech
  6. I played a merc too, but only 45. I understand your concern about tracer missile but its pretty necessary for the class. Since it does the whole buff ur other spells (heat seeking missile, unload n that laser beam? lol sorry Cant remember the names) and the heat signature business. Plus I really like the Aoe capabilities of it and some healing spells even if im not healing spec. Hope some1 can tell you more about Operative n Sniper at 50
  7. Hmm well from the 3 classes u mentioned earlier Mercenary- Nice rdps and aoe, Also has the option to be a healer. (This is the class ppl complain about spamming tracer missile). They also wear heavy armor. Sniper- Rdps, more of a single target. (I wouldn't know how complicated ppl fix up this class when they hit 50 since I haven't played this one yet, only played with) Operative-Stealth mdps, Also has the option for a healer. (Someone else should also tell you more about this class since I havn't played this either ) You said you played a warlock before, I would recommend checking out Sith Sorcerer. Caster type that shoots awesome lightning and can heal. Lastly since you also said you had a warrior. Um There's the Sith Jugg and Mara. Played both to 50 and I used em as Dps. You can play a Jugg as dps but there are still tanking elements there so maybe not this one? Mara took a little longer to learn how to play effectively. But once you can play them well they are awesome lol. Uh I know I didn't really give you one definitive class so I'm sorry for that, but the best I can do was give you a quick glance on your choices. Hope fully this narrows it down a bit for you
  8. It would help if you could at least give what kind of play style your prefer. Like do you enjoy playing as a dps, tank, or healer. After that we can go into the specifics of the classes.
  9. ^, yep. Not that hard to switch guards depending on the situation
  10. The title of the thread says Jedi Sentinel. But anyways @Orabus idk man played a Jugg to 50 and have a 30 sentinel alt, gotta say sentinel has been harder (so far). Still got a lot to learn on sentinel, but I can at least be sure that jugg/guard was an easier trip to 50.
  11. About your question on Jaesa. I actually used her all the way to 50 after I got her at 30. I used Quinn a couple times when I needed to fight double star elites. I wasn't tank spec either, so it's true I had to heal after two groups of mobs. But that was okay bcuz we killed could kill them pretty fast. Also another factor was that I was always at least 2-3 lvls higher then what was recommended, so I am not sure how it would be if you were underleveled. Anyway hope that helps
  12. Anytime , it took me awhile to get that too.
  13. The resolve bar can be seen on the side of your portrait. It builds up when you are stunned repeatedly in a fight. When it is full you won't be able to be stunned. I play a 41 jugg force push and force choke, on their own, can build up a lot of resolve for your enemy. Plus you mentioned that you usually use your combo right before they pass the goal line, then that most likely means you were not the only one stunning the ball carrier. With the addition of those stuns then I am pretty sure their resolve bar was full, so they were immune to your force push.
