  1. No, but it comes with a 14 day free trial. Enough time to give you a taste test of it Personally, with all this EVE talk (along with the thread in off-topic, "the mother of all PvP encounters") is giving me the itch to continue playing it again 14 day trial That should give you an idea of what you can do if you put your mind to it
  2. You be nasty Gallente! Pah! Wouldn't wipe my shoes with Gallente. Minmatar all the way. Trust the rust!!
  3. I would be happy to invite someone to my ship... ...If they bring the wine
  4. This! All this EVE talk is giving me the bug again hahaha As for the learning cliff, you're not wrong. http://smmobl.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/learningcurve.jpg I think that sums it up perfectly. As the quote states, you can do pretty much ANYTHING you want. That said, the same rule applies to everyone else. If you fancy living the quiet life by mining, someone WILL eventually come along and ruin your day Or, if you take on the outlaws life, people will take it upon themselves to defend their home (system) with extreme prejudice. In a very clumsy translation, think of your ship and its fittings as your gear. However, if your ship blows up, you have to buy a brand new one and put all the weapons/shields etc back on from scratch. There is a saying in EVE. "Don't fly what you can't afford". No such thing as repair bills when you get blown to pieces. I'm painting a very harsh picture of EVE, but once you get into it, you'll be laughing your way across the universe (because, that's how big it is!) when you destroy/sell/scam your way up the food chain Also, if you're into PVP, you'll love EVE. There is no "safe" place in EVE, only "safer" places
  5. And that's why I love EVE Always a consequence to everything you do. This event will follow that brave (foolish) capsuleer for a loooong time hehe. Nobody's going to trust him to carry a Starbucks order now
  6. Ooops. Fixed title, sorry.
  7. That is, IF you play any. Personally, I enjoy a big of Ragnarok. I think the progression system is pretty neat and it has a nice community. So, do you play any 2D MMO's? If so, why?

    Nerdrage

You see, to me, that sound reasonable. I imagine other people will say "but you're hurting my playstyle". Well, perhaps a little, yes. But at the same time, (for what ever reason) you quit on 7 other people. Now granted, you may feel justified, and that's fine. However, if the WZ is a doomed as you think it is, you won't be waiting long
  9. Granted, but the bat got to the rabbit first...........oh dear. Just, just don't look in the hat, ok I wish I had unlimited pudding.
  10. Granted, it's a miniature replica I wish I had a billion pounds

    Confessions

Normal is far to exercised. Like Spectreclees, I do spend a lot of time on games. That said, I have devised a way to push both games and work (and studies, if you are doing them). Oddly enough, a timetable works well. I don't mean a restrictive one, or one you even print out. However, a mental timetable works best. Luckily, work hours obviously take up X hours of my day. However, I have some work I take home. So, I make sure I place a slot for work. I don't mean X hours for work at home. Now, I mean, this time from now, I'm not gaming until this task is done! Yes, it does mean I don't game some evenings, but so what. I make time for my partner, time for my work, and time for gaming. And yes, I do set a few times (mostly weekends) time = gaming until I set X goal Same rule for work, same rule for games

    hello

Tired, too much work to do
  13. Answer I would like to point out that this is al least the third day in a row on this subject by the OP. I would also like to point out that the OP has broken these rules: Always remain respectful towards other forum members, even if you have dissenting opinions. Do not hijack topics. Posting comments within a thread which severely disrupts the original conversation is prohibited. (in her own threads!) Post messages for any purpose other than personal communication, including without limitation advertising or promotional messaging, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or other commercial activities. (I think 3 by 3 days may constitute) Improperly use in-game support or complaint buttons or make false reports to Service staff members, including the SWTOR CS. (She reports anyone who disagrees) Pretty sure I can go on, but you all get the picture
