  1. People actually play 50 different characters? What the heck are they doing?
  2. I have a Consular, Smuggler and Agent that dont have an AC. Too many buttons if I go with an AC so I keep it simple and live longer.
  3. All I'm saying is that the number of subs doesnt indicate a profit. A lower sub game that costs almost nothing to keep running will make more money than a game that has tons of subs but costs a lot to run. In the closed environment of each company then yes, more subs for any one company means more money. But the overall number compared across multiple games means nothing. By that logic we could say any business that has more employees has a higher profit than a business with fewer employees. Not true by a long shot.
  4. Yes I was saying SWTOR is not profitable. Didnt you see that in my post? Oh wait, I never said anything about this games profitability. I'll make it easy: The number of subscriptions in an online game does not indicate the games profitability. It does not matter what game. Lets say a game has 10 total subscribers but the cost of running it is 1 dollar. Thats %90 profit and a game with 100 milion subs might only make %10 profit. So saying "Game X has 100 million subs it must be more profitable than Game Y that only has 10 subs" is nonsene.
  5. It does. However the number of subs does not indicate profit. You could have a bazillion subscribers but if the cost of running the game is a Bazillion and One then you lose money.
  6. I understand the OP's point but like many pointed out, we are dealing with a whole new generation. Its like commenting on how awesome record stores are and how the music store down the block has been open 35 years. That wont change the fact that most music is going digital and that CD's are on the way out.
  7. I'm not all pissed off like the OP but it would have been nice to see something added to the CE vendor since it was indicated that it would happen.
  8. Man this guy is hilarious. They did make a mistake but the OP loses nothing. Nothing. Nothing is lost. OP has had no losses. Stop being cheap BW. Oh and he's referring to "The War Z" beta game codes that were issued. They messed up and insteadof revoking them, which would be a huge pain, they just said "keep them, give them to your friends" Not exactly what happened here bt if your self-entitled they sure do seem similar.
  9. The player bounty system in SWG worked well but as far as SWTOR we could just make it consentual. A simple toggle box allows bounties to be put on your head in any amount from 100 - 1000 credits by anyone you kill in PvP. The amounts stack and are then placed onto bounty boards based off of the total. No names are listed you must use tracking droids to find your target. Anyone could purchase and use the tracking droids which would be made by players. This makes a player bounty system completely voluntary.
  10. Because they hate making money, not because there are technical or time issues. Its because server transfers are so easy to do that they just refuse to do them for fun.
  11. They arent account wide. Chances are they will go with an inaccurate description correction because making them account wide means less spending of Cartel Coins.
  12. Somebody call a whaaambulance! C'mon really? This is a business and I cant imagine they would toss out free stuff when they could have you pay for them. Plus imagine the tidal wave of tears that would come from the paying playerbase when they found out F2P guys are getting the same stuff others are paying for. We'd all need lifejackets.
  13. None of what the OP sas makes sense. The items on the GTN were purchased by Cartel Coins. So if Player X wants to go to a 3rd party redit site and buy credits for use on the GTN, who is he purchasing from? He's purchasing from a guy that got items from the Cartel.
  14. Has anyone confirmed that its available in the current packs?
