  1. I thought the exact same thing! Lol...no need for trials after surviving that. "The Dark Side is strong with you young one".
  2. I named my legacy after Acrassicauda. Awesome band from Baghdad, Iraq of all places. http://acrassicauda.com/music
  3. I have an Immortal Juggernaut with all of my companions geared and at max affection (which was a long process but gave me a chance to try out all of my companions). Naturally I started with Quinn, then moved on to Vette, then Jaesa. I find Vette and Jaesa to be about equal dps-wise but very different in how to effectively use them. All told I prefer Jaesa for her abilities that a previous respondant cited, but I will use Vette for certain situations where having my companion at range is preferable (Jaesa can be a bit of a glass cannon and does not take aoe damage well), but alternatively Vettes aoe attacks aren't always what you want in every situation either. Lastly, in Quinns defense he will always be valuable and needed (I couldn't solo alot of heroics without him and he was the first that I chose to gear up, all augmented and everything). With Quinn its definately easy to become lazy but fights take longer. Using a dps companion is faster but also it will make you a better player since you have to approach situations differently. So Jaesa = preferable, Vette = ranged more suited, Quinn = hard stuff / easy mode. I have Lt. Pierce in Tionese (it looks too cool not to) and Broonmark geared too but when does a tank need more tanks? For my Marauder I would say I use Vette over Jaesa but I mainly use Quinn. But my two cents worth is that Juggernauts rule! Granted that is only MY opinion but my Juggernaut and Guardian both are my most loved and played toons (btw I use Kira the most on my Guardian which is Jaesa's republic mirror). One last thing, I don't know what legacy level you are but Unity is a must for all warriors. I use it all the time, with all my classes.
  4. Absolutely amazing...even 10 months later (I noticed this thread only today). I had to laugh at why anyone would do that but I have to concede that it is an impressive feat none the less. That is the true warrior spirit! I have a 50 Mara & 50 Jugg (I love them both) but hands down my Immortal Juggernaut is definately my most favorite of the two. In regards to the resposes from other people, for some to disbelieve is understandable (I respect that) but to then proceed to call you a liar (I believe you OP) and run you down I find disgusting. Just because it's a game doesn't mean it's okay to be discourteous and disrespectful. I don't have doubt but I would give you the benefit of the doubt if I did. I know you chose Marauder from a previous response you made but I would have voted that you keep AC-less. If you do make another warrior though choose Juggernaut (at level 10) you will like it. Juggernauts bloom late but if you have have the patience to level a warrior to 50 without an AC you will definately have the patience to level a Jugg to full fruition. Again, Nicely Done!
  5. You are missing the point. Not a desire to control gameplay. Simply asking for civility. Play your game and have a good time. Whoop and holler with your friends, call each other names if it makes you happy. But courtesy and respect for others allowing them to enjoy are not things to be abandoned when signing in. And if blasting others online is the only way a person can seek pleasure and they feel that they have a right to act so, don't you think that is an issue? If not, why? Exactly. At the heart of the matter, the general rule for EVERYBODY should be this. Courtesy & Respect. IE Civility. A little of it goes a long way. It's the only way different people can co-exist in any community / society. Treat others as you would want to be treated. I never let rude people go unchallenged (I can't fight back for everybody and remain sane but I do call people on it when it happens to me) wether they respond or not. It is better if rude people at least know that there are people who do not condone this behavior and that there are those who do not go into agreement with it by just ignoring it (that just enables it to happen more and more). I have come across only a handful (3 or 4) of these utterly vile human beings, so the majority of the swtor community in my experience are decent people, but if enough people at least take a stand (arguing doesn't get you anywhere so say your piece but move on, /ignore, ect) and maybe, just maybe we might see less and less of rude behavior. The stupidest response I have gotten so far is "I'm a Sith, I can be rude". "Are you a Human Being? Do you not know courtesy? I don't hate sith but I do hate rude people". Funny thing is I was playing on my Juggernaut at the time and I had no problems in being polite. This is a game and it is supposed to be fun. Have fun and don't ruin the fun for others. Fun = Happy. Happy People = Happy Game.
  6. Oahu...Alewa Heights here. In a guild of three: me, a friend from work, and a friend who has moved to New York.
  7. Hey OP, let us know how it went. I've been following this thread (when I got down time at work) and I'm curious to know how you fared against old fatty. I died a few times myself until I realized that that ability he has absolutely cannot be allowed to be cast. It definately caught me by surprise the first time. Anyhoo, Good Luck & Stomp His Face!
  8. Make sure you have "Target of Target" enabled in your preferences and also "Target of Target Cast Bar".
  9. people will still be quoting Yoda! ...and Star Wars in general.
  10. This made me laugh. I think BW will have to trademark this response soon since they use it way too much. They should at least change up their responses so it will not seem like just a rote answer. Regarding the main topic: Time is growing short and running out fast.
  11. You Killed Younglings?!!! Level 19 Kill...How could you?. I do not roll pvp...I do not like pvp because of people who just like to "Grief" others by killing lowbies, quest givers, and vendors ect. then pound their chests at how great they are. Playing devils advocate though, if you are on a pvp server, then all is fair in love and war.
  12. Yeah, I'm just amazed at how rude people can be just because they can hide behind annonimity. My experience on Corellia doing dailys this weekend: I always get frustrated doing the part where you have to destroy those crates because there are so few crates especially when there are so many trying to get them (this weekend there were 8-10 people trying to get them at the same time). After going round and round the zone and finding none that was not destroyed already, I decided the best thing to do was to stand by one and destroy it when it re-spawns (need 6 of these). Lo and behold someone comes by (I remember his name but won't tell) and literally stands in front of me to hit the crate before me. I ask him incredulously "Are you really going to try to steal that" (after I've been waiting there a couple of minutes) he says "Yup". Oh man, if I could just really meet him in real life I would want to punch him! Another Corellia experience: Trying to do dailys again (different day but the damned crates again). Killing the mobs around the crates a pvp flagged jerk off comes by and trys to get me flagged by standing close enough to get hit by mine or vette's aoe. Luckily it didn't work but I stopped until this a** wipe would go away and he proceeded to taunt me with e-motes. So here I am drumming my finger's on the table until he gets tired of his kiddie games and goes away but I sat there thinking "Did someone let out the Nursury for play time?". (I hate pvp, if I wanted pvp I would flag myself or roll on a pvp server so don't try to ruin the aspect of the game that I enjoy because you feel the need to be a jerk mr. immaturity. Thank You That Is All). Please tell me there are good courteous people still in swtor because it seems to be less and less nowadays. When I first came to swtor months ago I was amazed at how nice and helpful people were (after migrating from Wow) but now? I dunno.
  13. Alewa Heights here. I work M-F til 5:00pm and play from about 6:30 on, Saturdays & Sundays whenever I can. One other person I work with plays at about the same times. We play with 3rd friend from Hawaii who is living in New York. We have an Imperial Guild on Drooga's Pleasure Barge Server called Imperium Maius. (A Guild of 3! Haha). We play for fun, have fun, and no stress. We all have unguilded Republic toons on Harbinger Server. I know this post is fairly old but hopefully there are still some other Hawaii players out there who will see it.
  14. That is so funny because I went through the exact same thing only 2 days ago. I like the look of it too. For me, after days of checking, there were none to be had on both GTN's. Then, I found the pattern with my Juggernaught, made it (alas no augment), traded it to a friend who put it up on Nar Shadda GTN, then I logged in my Sentinel and bought it. My toon is female and looks good in it.
  15. I Agree. I really enjoy this game and I understand it will take time to reach the level of refinement Wow has after all those years they had to reinvest in developing new content and features but I don't want it to be a Wow clone because it is the difference I enjoy. I will be playing for a long time and I am willing to give SWTOR breathing room to grow but I AM expecting improvement, I guess I'm willing to be more patient about it. After all this game only came out a few months ago.
