pretty much this, except I used Vector instead. I found that DJ went for me no matter what tanking Kaliyo did so better off with the extra damage Send Vector in to attack Put Vector on passive asap so he'll run back to you When DJ runs down the stairs to attack a retreating Vector unload on him so he runs to you Set Vector to aggro interrupt, interrupt, interrupt Repeat x3 It was a VERY frustrating fight though, has to be said and it's surprising (or not tbh) that it's still like this, especially as it's the class series mission and not just some side quest.

I got massively frustrated with this mission (as my guildies will probably agree), so much so that I wandered off and did the rest of the Alderaan missions, gained a level and came back for another go and a different approach, cobbled together from advice given on the forum. I had been using Kaliyo as a tank, which simply wasn't working as DJ seemed to ignore the tank and come after me. So I switched to Vector for his melee damage dealing As Vector was supplying the majority of dps, I just used interrupts as much as possible, popped Shattershot when needed and used instant dps abilities. I stayed away from snipe and ambush due to not being able to interrupt while they were casting. Very annoying fight.
