StarParse is a violation of the EULA/TOS. And I don't need it. I can play games without some not allowed Software telling me what to do. Might surprise you, but some players actually do have skill.

I am obviously not talking about Teamspeak. And I am not installing StarParse. Besides that, 4 out of the 5 guilds checked my achievements and declined me when they saw I never did HC Raids, because I kind of just restarted the game and never did much raiding in 2013, due to lack of time. Anyway, I just wanted to point that out that exclusiveness is killing the game too. There is always a drain of experienced players and if you don't train new people, then there will be nobody left to play with. I keep tanking SM and people can continue to search for Tanks with "E&E".

The community as a whole brought that onto themselves. I raided a lot in other games, in this game I have no intention doing anything other than SM. Why? Because it requires that you install a 3rd party program AND nobody will take you with them if you don't already know the tactics. I have spoken to 5 guilds the last few weeks, all of them declined because I don't already know the tactics. It's like they expect that SWTOR knowledge is passed on genetically. Also, I had to abandon 3 SM Groups in the last 2 weeks (one yesterday), because some HC/NIM Raiders started arguing about irrelevant stuff from HC Raids and got so caught up in it, started insulting each other and then they left and then everyone else left. At some point you just give up and stick with SM. I do my daily OPS and that is it with raiding for me in this game, as long as the raiding community is not more inclusive instead of exclusive.

Nene, das hat gepasst. Aber eben war ich Eternity Vault und die Spieler scheinen wohl NIM und HC zu laufen, von dem was so "gesagt wurde". Naja, lange Geschichte kurz, die Ini wurde beim Rätsel abgebrochen weil der Gruppe ein zu mächtiger Boss in den Weg kam.... das eigene Ego.

So kenne ich das auch. Aber hier sollte ein Tank wegrennen und das irgendwo ablegen, statt stehenzubleiben. Und das habe ich nicht gleich gerallt und bin dann noch runtergefallen und gestorben. Passiert . Er lag trotzdem. Das wurde aber vorher nicht so richtig erklärt.

Ja, die Erfahrung mache ich derzeit, da ich ja random renne. Ich hasse es, in OPS die meiste Zeit nur adds machen zu dürfen oder zum zweitklassigen DD degradiert zu werden. Ich spiele in jedem MMORPG immer nur Tanks, weil mir das gefällt etwas Verantwortung zu haben. Ich weiss, wie ein MMORPG funktioniert und was rote Kreise aufm Boden bedeuten. Und SWTOR ist da nicht grundlegend anders. Gestern habe ich einer Gruppe dann deutlichst gesagt, dass ich Bosse tanken will und nicht nur ständig auf der zweiten Bank sitzen möchte. Der andere Tank hat recht beleidigt und schnippisch darauf reagiert. Dennoch habe ich, bis auf einen Boss, alles erfolgreich durchgetankt. Bei dem einen Boss wo es nicht funktionierte, lag es aber IMHO an der fundamental anderen Taktik die nicht richtig erklärt wurde. (Palast, der mit den Platten die verschwinden) Aber es geht ja nicht nur um Taktiken, sondern auch in diesem Spiel ein Gefühl für die defensiven Cooldowns zu bekommen. Das ist eigentlich das wichtigste an Erfahrung. Das bekommt man aber nicht, wenn man nur adds oder "Schaden" macht. Ich habe so das Gefühl, dass die Leute mich für dumm halten, nur weil ich kein HC mache. Ich gehe aber nur SM, weil mir das Gehabe der "high end raider" aufn Keks geht. Das heisst aber nicht, dass ich dazu nicht in der Lage wäre.....

I have Logitech Hardware (G502 Proteus and G710) and as such, more keys and buttons on my keyboard/mouse. The way it works is that you just assign key combinations to the so called G-Keys. For example, the left handed G Column is Alt-Numpad0-4 for me and the additional buttons on my mouse are Ctrl-Numpad 0-3. If you just bind those to hotbar slots, nothing will happen to you ever. But if you use the software to chain activate abilities and make them send multiple keystrokes with a pause, you could get into trouble. That is detectable, due to the pause always being the exact same timing. Hope that clears it up.

Es ist die Masse. Es ist nicht so, dass es nur ein paar sind die Spaß machen. Das ist ja ok. Hier gibt es Leute, die täglich auf der Flotte andere als "Affen" oder sonstiges bezeichnen. Lustigerweise sind meistens Leute ohne Gilden oder welche wo maximal 2-3 Leute on sind. Wegen dem Thread hier werde ich übrigens mittlerweile jeden Tag ingame von jemand belästigt, deswegen wäre es mir recht wenn der langsam sterben könnte, auch wenn sich an meiner Meinung oder dem Bedürfnis dieses Problem zu diskutieren nix geändert hat, aber mir nimmts einfach die Lust am einloggen, wenn ich, sobald ich eine Gruppe suche, beleidigt und dumm angelabert werde. Es sind verschiedene Charaktere, deswegen weiss ich nicht obs mehrere Leute sind, oder nur Alts von einem besonders netten Spieler.

Ernsthaft? Du haust Leute auf die ignore weil sie in dem dafür vorgesehenen Kanal eine Gruppe suchen? Wo ist das bitte Fremdnutzung? Also ernsthaft, hier läuft so einiges schief. Da wundere ich mich schon. Und ja, Imp Seite.

Bioware needs to realize that Realms (I don't like calling the servers because one realm has many servers) are outdated. There is instancing technology in the game, so why not take the existing server racks, combine them to one realm and with the additional hardware we can have more instances on fleet or for whatever Planet/FP/OPS/Battleground it is needed. That way everyone is happy, shorter waiting times etc. Of course there should be still seperate Realms for languages in Europe, like German, English, French. But there is no need for designated RP Servers or PVP Servers anymore.

Naja, der Spieler der mich jeden Tag belästigt, der macht das auch auf der Flotte ganz unverhohlen. Er beleidigt jeden im Chat, hat eine Ausdrucksweise unter aller Kanone, aber Bioware scheint das egal zu sein. Heute erst hat er mich wieder blöd angeredet, als ich eine Gruppe suchte, danach andere die Fragen stellten. Aber scheinbar ist das ja ok, sich wie die Axt im Walde aufzuführen. Man kann gegen WoW sagen was man will, aber Blizzard hätte den schon lange gebannt. Oder Funcom. Oder Sony...
