  1. You can usually find them on the GTN for cut-rate prices. For instance, I picked up an entire set of Armormech Augment schematics for less than 10k.
  2. A lot of people seemed to assume, with the patch notes - that the odds of getting Thermals went up. This is not the case. The number of items which get rewarded is what increased. The odds of a crit are still abysmally low. Just keep running those missions. It's not uncommon to get 2-4 back on a successful crit now. (As opposed to the 1 you got pre-patch.) But yes, the rare items are supposed to be rare. That is working as intended. And I personally have picked up nearly a dozen Thermal Regulators since the patch.
  3. i will be "that guy." I can't help but point out that while they are "fixing" the voice over on the Hutt holo-statue... people are still ritually abusing its collision box on the good doctor to prevent people from accepting/turning in Dropbox Missions.
  4. Watch... this is probably all been so that they can add new Space missions. New space missions that will require new space ship parts. I think I am sadder for the death of Space Missions than I was for the death of the orange pixel.
  5. Game has three tank classes. The Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow. The Vanguard/Powertech. The Guardian/Juggernaut. Two of them wear heavy armor. One of them wears light armor. Two of them have a plethora of survivability skills - the other one has stealth and a CC. Of all the tanks in the game, you picked the squishy one. The Shadow/Assassin variety is more subject to random spikes in damage than the other two. This puts a lot on the healer - because if they aren't prepared for a spike - then the tank dies. Now that all said - focus on Endurance. Since you take more damage than (literally) every other tank in the game - you will need more health.
  6. Just did a Heroic space mission in 2.01. Did each Bonus that I could clear. The mission today was "Far Cradle Strike." After completion, I got 2 Elite Comms. Which seemed irregular given the patch notes... But what was truly distressing was that I only got 1 Basic Comm. Means my Reward was: 40 Fleet Comms, 1 Basic Comm, 2 Elite Comms, and a blue reputation token. I'm not sure what the intended fix was. But they didn't remove all of the Elite Comms. They did however, remove any viable reason to do space missions aside from leveling characters up to 55...
  7. That's good news, I will go ahead and pass on the information.
  8. So I recently got my Father to play this game. To make a very long story short, his eyes aren't as good as they used to be. He is however, and avid MMO player and Star Wars fan (since before I was born). Anyway... he recently asked if the game had a feature, which it does not. And the lack of this feature, is starting to anger him (I think, understandably so) to the point of not wanting to purchase the game. (He's still on his free trial.) The question he asked was something to the effect of "Can I increase the font size during conversations? It's too small, goes by too quickly, and I cannot read it." And I was a little embarassed to say "No, sorry Dad... They didn't think of that one." The issue it seems, only gets worse in environments where characters only speak Huttese or other Gibberish languages - when he's being forced to rely on subtitles, which he can't read, to know what's going on. The solution however, is simple, and already presented: Give the user the ability to increase the font size of the text during Conversations. In the meantime, in those situations, I will advise him to spacebar through the conversations - and read the Quest Log afterwards.
  9. I'll admit, I don't know if it has been suggested yet. Probably. Look, I don't know about you all.. But I know my keybinds pretty well at this point. What I'm asking for is this - the ability to use my abilities without necessarily having the action bars up on my screen. It's a huge flaw in the system. And it's cluttering up all of our screens. Well, mine anyway. Look, even in the old beast which need not be named, it was customary for people (again, at least, me) to put primary abilities with shorter cooldowns on a bar that was not seen. Freeing up the main bar for more important things, like important cooldowns. Two more cents. Thanks for reading.
  10. I'm in. Preorder was Dec 4. If only the site wasn't acting well.. you know. (Can't even stay logged into My Account due to all the DB errors and traffic.)
