  1. I'm not in such a bad mood, so 0/10. Considering the fact that it took them three and a half months to come up with this scripted trash mob brawlfest (which only serves to artificially stretch the 20 minutes of "content"), it really deserves a negative grade. My decision to cancel my recurring subscription after KOTFE is vindicated, but my idiotic decision to buy a 6 month subscription just prior to that turned out to be incredibly short-sighted.
  2. This is never going to happen, and an engine change is even less likely.
  3. QFT. The devs' ever increasing focus on fluff does not amuse me.
  4. Great changes to flashpoints! I'm really looking forward to this.
  5. Look, another non-exploit. Oh, the humanity.
  6. Yeah, it seems the point of a game for some people is not for the player to have fun and enjoy, but rather to keep obsessing over what other people do/have, and then enjoying whenever something is taken away from them or they are suspended/permabanned. Almost makes me want to engage in armchair psychololology, but I digress.
  7. Thank you very much. Yesterday, I submitted two reports within 2 minutes on the Imperial Fleet. It's nice to know they are not in vain.
  8. Not on your nelly. The SW IP is the only thing that just barely manages to act as a counterweight to all the bad stuff, from the horrible engine to the devs' pathetic balancing attempts, which I honestly believe are some twisted social experiment.
  9. Go **** yourselves. Thank you for your understanding. -a happy EA customer
  10. When you're done turning SWTOR into an inherently inferior copy of WoW, what's there to prevent people from dumping your half-baked product with a broken engine and flocking to the benchmark of all MMOs? Do you really think the lightsaber kewlness effect can make up for each and every (biological and technological?) distinctiveness you remove? I can't speak for anyone else, but my love for SW is not that limitless. This isn't a make or break move, the only unknown variable is the magnitude of the breaking.
  11. In a nutshell: Ah, these are not the issues we are looking for? Another perception problem, eh? 1) Because reasons, right? 2) Likewise, the utility and survivability make up for the sub-par DPS because reasons? 3) Thank you very much. Thank you very much. RotHC was released in April 2013. GSF was released 10 months later in February 2014. GS (planned and developed in parallel with GSF) was supposed to come 4 months later in June, but was postponed until August, 6 months later. So, in the best case scenario, this putative next expansion will be released anywhere between December 2014 (wishful thinking since none is planned) and June 2015 (more likely, possibly later)? Meaning the community will have to wait, oh, just another 5-11 months for you to resolve a problem which you identified way back in the last QA round? Again, thank you very much.
  12. Kudos for your quality control and thanks for caring.
  13. Much ado about nothing. From the point of view of George Lucas, as well as others at Lucasfilm, the EU has always been non-canon, anyway. The only canon were the movies and their scripts, novelizations and radio dramas, with newer editions replacing the old ones (i.e. Greedo shot first). Yeah, it sucks, but I don't make the rules. The so-called levels of canon were an invention of Leland Chee for the Holocron, Lucas Licensing's internal database for maintaining consistency in the corpus of licensed, non-canon works. Lucas Licensing's consistency policy was never relevant for determining the canon of George Lucas' work. And the Flanneled guy was always quite clear about the fact that he never read the EU, couldn't care less about it and that there was never even a remote chance that it would be canon. So, technically, the only thing that changed is that Lucas Licensing no longer obfuscates the EU's non-canon status. Honestly, you're acting just like Trekkies who were pissed off in the late 80s when TNG disregarded FASA and other licensed, non-canon works, which they mistakenly considered canon. That whole "fuss" is all but forgotten now, and so will this supposed "de-canonization" of the EU. Yawn.
  14. (Sigh! The following is to be read in John Cleese's voice.) And as always, this game's "devs" actually "feel" wrong instead of thinking right. Let me guess, your "testing", as usual, will be to go live with this and let the community analyse the consequences and try dealing with them, hm? Using values between heavy turbolaser yield and Death Star yield, on a 1 to 10 scale, just how right am I? In the Emperor's holy name, lay off the illusory Metrics™ pipe! Remember the 2.0 Tankassin zero-utility glass tank fiasco? Which took you five (5!) game updates to fix. Partially. And cost us an invaluable class rep. So far, you've managed to destroy every single spec I've played with your gut-based tinkering. Do us all a favour and stop pretending that you're balancing this game until you learn how to test properly. For starters, try using all advanced classes. In story, PvP and PvE content. All of it.
