  1. The Op has valid arguments and I feel the same way. I do have other classes but the operative was my favorite because it was played less. Why should everyone be funneled into playing 1 class because it has all the utility *cough assassin* because that is what is going to happen. Players who decide to stick it out are going to reroll and you will see less and less operatives. Why even have the class then unless you want new players to stumble into agent and find out they wasted their time leveling it up to get ganked in pvp. Sure there is more to offer, lets take a pvp player and give them the choice to play operations instead for their character. Yay, good solution!
  2. I seriously think the dev team consists of two guys, Cheech and Chong. Now as much as I like them, it is obvious that this team is smoking some **** on monday, trying to decide what the next patch should be, and not working on it until 2 minutes before the patch is suppose to go in. 1.2 update = colossal failure. You would have to TRY to fail this bad at designing a game. Purposely trying to come up with the dumbest ideas to make it turn out this bad.
  3. There is a cost involved with this experience. When you are constantly losing, you start to realize that those who are consistently winning will obtain their warhero gear much faster, mean while you are still struggling to get your first piece. After a few weeks of this you will not gain any head way, instead those same teams who were kicking your *** now, will not only kick your *** but you won't get any medals peroid because they will completely own the matches. Say good by to players. In the past even if i lost my *** in a match, I was optimistic because i knew that I was still gaining towards gear. But losing now, spending time in a match and getting nothing for it even though I am actually trying to get medals but still recieve none. This is going to be more common than not. Which is going to mean people quitting to play the game. I am already deciding to quit my subscription by the end of april. I have full bm gear and 75 valor and getting ***** with nothing to show for it. A waste of my time really. Don't feel like paying 15 bucks a month to not enjoy pvp. All those players left playing because they were successful will see the game slowly emptying and their que times increasing. This is the cost being paid for the 1.2 changes.
  4. The last two days have been frustration. The operative is gimped as it sits right now. I can't even enjoy playing it when there is no survivablity, healing sucks and the concealment spec that was fun to play pre 1.2 is now useless. The class has no other utility in pvp to make it worth while playing. Since bw gave us a free month ill play out the game but after that I think im done unless they fix these operative nerfs. That might make me sound whiny or complaining but unless you actually play the class, you have no idea what you are talking about.
  5. I noticed this as well. Im full BM geared and was noticing it very difficult to keep people alive. My healing score at the end of the matches was no where near the average I got pre 1.2. You can't honestly tell me that after 1 day my ability to play a healer has been botched by my own doing. Something is wrong. Either dmg has gone up and healing has stayed the same, or something is bugged with healing.
  6. Operatives are not that much better in pvp. If you want a utility class for huttball, go with a sin. If you want to heal, go with a merc. What utility do operatives actually bring to pvp? They can heal, but the heals are incrediblly slow, and easy to interupt. The ones that can't be interupted are too small to make any difference. In a fight the operative heals do not keep anyone alive. The only way you keep someone alive is to help them kill their attacker then top them off after the attaker is dead. They can stealth. So what, they are easily pulled out of stealth. Someone sneezing nearby will pop them out of stealth. When you try to use it to escape, you walk away so slowly from the attacker that they can easily find you and pop you back out. You have no closer and your range is far less than sorc/sages even with a riffle you can't shoot as far as they can cast. Even if you do get into melee range, you don't do enough damage to actually kill a full health bar enemy. The only sucess you can have is if they are already half dead and you pounce on them to finish them off. But the problem with this is once you reveal yourself to other full health enemies they can take you out easily even if you have heals. The operative brings maybe 1 utility to the table in pvp, you are better rolling a different class if you want to have; A. Fun B. Successful matches.
  7. I loged in and qued up a solo since it was low pop and no one on in guild except the ghost that is always there. Anyways, I woke up my neighbor after random volume shifts would phuckin blast out of my speakers when getting medals. My sounds are usually set very low and then all of a sudden BAM! you got a medal, and let's let your whole city know you got one. Fix the damn sound!
  8. Yes they increased the size of the post channeled orbital strike ground image. I hate it because now all the enemies in pvp know where to stand now. It was better with the smaller target image because they would try to stand on the edge and would still take damage. Just another way to make orbial strike even more useless.
  9. The three medals thing is annoying, and I am not saying that as an afker and mad that I can't afk my coms anymore. There have been half a dozen wzs so far that I got squat for coms and i tried to bust my *** to win. For example in huttball when the other team has the perfect set up and just sprints the ball to the finishline and gets the mid because the rest of my team doesn't get mid. Wam bam 6 points scored to 0 and 2 medals yay! I get nothing for my time spent getting my *** kicked. Great job bioware you have made me want to play. The UI changes are nice, but it is not enough to keep me playing. 1 additional warzone? Seriously? And the new armor sets look rediculous. How these drawings for these new concepts got aproval is beyond me, because they are ugly. My operative in his warhero suit, looks like a school bus. Playing the heal spec operative, I can say I already notice that some classes are extremely squishy now and nearly impossible to keep alive. Not only that but I really have not noticed any improvement on the heals that are put out. Sure the tactical advantage sticks around for a few seconds longer but it's not enough to really impact healing at all. Some of the damage that annoyed me about the sage has not been addressed and they still dish out WAY too much burst damage. They don't even need to stun me and they can 1v1 without needing to heal, meanwhile I am spamming heals and trying to deal dmg back. The end of april I will not be renewing my subscription.
  10. None of this is a hack or exploit. Your experience of the events is not accruate. I can explain why that is. First of all, the operative or scoundrel both have buff and burst damage coming right out of stealth, but after they finish the first volly they can re-enter stealth and hit you with a second wave to finish you off, or cc you and finish you off then re-enter stealth. As far as healing goes, they can be healed by other players while they are stealthed. I bet this is what happened and why it had full health only after a few seconds. Any dps op or scoundrel will make friends with a healer because they need them to survive and deal out the kills. This trick will probably go away after 1.2 since they are nerfing backstab which is the op bread and butter. Now concealment ops are useless.
  11. snipers are a nuisance and do plenty of dmg. I have been taken out by them plenty of times. Not only that but they are incrediblly difficult to keep melee. So all I can say is you don't know how to play your sniper.
  12. Oh come on, lets be fair, they did work on some other stuff like the hideous new armor sets.
  13. You guys actually think bioware will get ranked warzones right the first time? They hesitated like a company that doesn't know what they are doing, because they don't know what they are doing. Be glad they yanked ranked warzones now, because you all would be screaming about how imbalanced they are. I should remind you all again, you are paying to play a beta.
  14. I am considering it. I'm giving until the end of april, hopefully 1.2 update goes in before that so I have enough time to play it. If the game is still heavily imbalanced in pvp, then I will be more than likely quitting. I honestly don't want to pay 15 bucks a month to play wzs and the occasional heavily bugged operation that you have to repeat, not because of a wipe, but because it gliched and you have to reset the instance to try again.
