  1. So I have been a subscriber well before the cutoff date of the Shae Vizla and such rewards. How do I claim them?
  2. Apparently the slotted barrel was the issue. Thankfully I could just craft a blue-level barrel to slot, so now I can equip both blasters again, thanks. Yeah it's really weird. I know it's probably irritating to make the comparison, but WoW is the most played MMO in the world at them moment, and while that game is far from perfect - and I greatly dislike the changes they made in Legion (I actually came back to SWTOR after the terrible Legion experience and seeing the "Betrayed" cinematic) - the way they handle their customer service is, in my opinion, superior to how Bioware handle customer service.
  3. So I think by now we can all agree that the "gold farmers" constantly sending messages through the game are incredibly annoying, sure. The immediate thought is to just hit the report spam button and move on, right? Wrong. It can come back to bite you in the butt in a VERY significant way. On my Mercenary Bounty Hunter, I hit 65 and was running solo some Black Talon Tactical flashpoints for alignment points and epic gear drops. Now, I have some cartel market blaster pistols that I rather like the look and sound of, so rather than replacing them with the epic 208 drops, I would opt instead to remove the components (barrel, mod, enhancement) and slot them into my adaptive cartel market pistols. When doing so, a bug occurred where now I can only equip a single blaster pistol. When I try and equip the second, I get the message "Invalid Slot." popping up. From there the course of action one thinks to take is "Well, I'll just open a support ticket, and it'll be resolved within the next couple of days", right? Due to the way that Bioware run their spam reports, each time you report a gold/credit farmer mail as spam, it automatically creates a ticket. There is apparently a limit to how many tickets you can have open at once, and you apparently can't CLOSE the spam report tickets. So now my bounty hunter is stuck, unable to equip his second blaster pistol, and unable to create an in-game support ticket to rectify the problem. What the hell, Bioware?
  4. See that's really weird, because my JK was/is a male Miraluka, and there was never any conversation dialogue with Kira about not being able to have children.
  5. To be fair, on launch (to coin a WoW term, "Vanilla", if you will), Cathar weren't a playable race at all - they were added in at a later date, the same as Togruta were. It's why Aric Jorgan looks so different comparative to Cathar player characters, and when you play the Bounty Hunter storyline the Cathar on Balmorra (Murghir) also looks different, and rather low-res, compared to the higher definition options available on character creation for female Cathar. As such, it seems rather lazy on behalf of Bioware (and just reinforces the fact that Jedi Knight is their favourite class) that they didn't add in the same racial response for other classes who were Cathar.
  6. What's wrong with Doc? I thought he was a great character. I wanted to strand Kira on Tython/Nar Shaddaa after 2 or 3 planets with her. She gets a bit obnoxious, I find, and it's hard to listen to Laura Bailey's voice acting after watching Critical Role, because she sounds the same in every role (same as Steve Blum, for that matter, who voices Andronikos Revel and like 70% of the male NPCs in the game).
  7. God that really pisses me off. I don't like playing Knight (Jedi at all, actually) because the voice is so mono-tone and devoid of any sort of personality at all. Having to sit through the Jedi romances were honestly the most uncomfortable, cringe-inducing experiences possible. You have what are essentially mono-toned robots devoid of any personality or passion, enact out passionate (well, as passionate as BW writing can get) romance scenes where they declare their affection for their companion. I understand that Jedi are meant to suppress emotion, but to have no passion at all in their voice, when they take the initiative and kiss the companion - which in itself is an act of passion - is super awkward. The best part is how the animation team screws up and sometimes the companion's face will awkwardly be beside the character's head with lips puckered out, ala duckface. Literally I will be happy playing ANY other class in the game, bar Jedi Knight/Jedi Consular, so it bugs me that BW slacked off on the effort to write story dialogue for non-Jedi Knight classes.
  8. I just can't stand Trandoshans in general. The language is quite abrasive on the ears, whereas the Deshade language (at least in Chapters 1-3) were quite pleasant on the ears - at least to me, anyway.
  9. Huh. Doc was my favourite companion as a JK, but I was male so it felt more of like a bromance I guess. I always go body type 3 Cathar for my bounty hunter though, so I guess Mako is into the big ol' cat dong
  10. How dare you, sir! I wouldn't touch that disgusting lizard with a 10-foot pole. If I were to romance ANY big bulky masculine alien, it would CLEARLY be Khem Val.
  11. I'm curious about what you mean by "empty promises"?
  12. True, I forgot to include Andronikos in the DS romances list. I only play male characters cos romancing men isn't my preference.
  13. One thing that has always bugged me about SWTOR is the companion romance options - namely that they're all, for the most part, human. For the female characters, there's only one non-human romance option (Aric Jorgan), and for the males there are very few non-human romance options (Vette, Kaliyo, Akaavi, and Ashara) - and let's be honest: the only good companion out of those choices is Vette. So with the new expanded storylines of KotFE and the soon to be released KotET, I would like to request that some more alien/non-human romance partners. Maybe a Voss or Mirialan? Hell I'd take a Togruta that I don't want to shove out the airlock at this point. I'd also like to see a bit of diversity in alignment. The only "Dark Side" romance options are Kaliyo and Jaessa (if you go Dark Side on Warrior). But what about a Dark Side romance for the Inquisitor, for example? Literally every companion for that class (yes, I know, doesn't matter as you get new companions in KotFE/KotET) encourages dark side choices, and you feel like a total bad@ss taking the Dark Side story options, and then you have the incessant, irritating nagging and whining of Ashara Zavros, which just makes you want to kill her off. Also, for people who would say that Nadia and Mako aren't "human" romance partners either - cyborg is just a human with bits of metal on the face, and whatever Nadia is is just a human with face paint.
  14. Aside from not getting influence with my companions (because I'm not doing the planet quests at all aside from heroic/class quests), I have found that once I hit level 60 the heroic rewards no longer give lockboxes with gear, but instead get a purple crate I have to turn in to an NPC somewhere presumably on the fleet.
  15. Is there any way to disable the 200% experience gain on a character? I want to level at a normal pace, not just burn out on planets by only doing heroic and class quests.
