  1. On top of what's already been said, Sith generally don't have much need for credits (they tend to use their lightsabers as credit cards), and Imp-Int agents... well, government contracts aren't all they're cracked up to be, I guess. Not to mention all those disguises and exotic toxins they provide you probably come out of your paycheck.
  2. That's kind of the thing, though... Imp-Int doesn't usually stand out. At a military outpost, any one of the guys in regular uniform could be Intelligence. And most of the kit you receive as an agent isn't, strictly speaking, formal uniform. Most of it is combat wear, sure, but not much of it could be outright identified as Imperial-issue. Of course that doesn't quite account for why Imp-Int staff wear the same army uniforms at the Citadel HQ. Or, for that matter, why the one guy on Alderaan was wearing the purple uniform. Maybe it's a dress uniform or something? I think those nobles might like that sort of thing. Any thoughts on what's up with the guys in the all-white uniforms, though? Like that one guy on Tatooine, and some other officers here and there...
  3. Imperial ones, mind you. As far as I understand it, the color on Republic outfits (in this age, anyway) is mainly squad designation. Now then. This is something that has been gnawing at me for the past... well, 10 minutes, if we're being honest. Since we're getting armor dyes soon, I was wondering if the actual color scheme of the uniform has any reflection on the service branch. My observations so far: "regular" military, like Malavai Quinn, seem to have a simple black on black arrangement. The brass, like Kilran, seem to get red collar tabs and such instead of black. Reclamation Service seems to have part of the uniform in tan colors, rather than whole black. Diplomatic Service seems to be red shirt with white pants. Then there's the folks in white uniforms (R&D, maybe?), and... well, this one's bothering me a little. Most of the Imperial Intelligence staff seem to wear the regular black/black or black/red set, perhaps so as to not stand out from the rank and file (don't want to make things easy for the snipers, right?), but then there's the Imp-Int fellow on Alderaan with a black/purple shirt... not sure what to make of him. Granted, I'm probably overthinking this, but I'd still like to see what other people's thoughts are on this. And hey, useful guide for color planning for our Imperial uniforms once the dyes come out, if nothing else...
  4. Hmm, from me... 1. Pazaak or similar side games. Also includes swoop racing. 2. Dual spec. 3. Possibly a "cosmetic" armor overlay, so you can be seen wearing one outfit, but getting the benefits from another one.
  5. I think it's mostly the stark white colour that I find the most appealing... without the somewhat off-putting mandatory baldness that Rattataki have to put up with. Honestly, I'm not that big of a lore buff, I'm working more off appearances as far as my racial preferences go.
  6. I'm most looking forward to Cathar, personally (when we actually get them...) but for future races: 1. Selonian 2. Bothan 3. Echani
  7. That's Malachor. 5, I think. And considering how big of a confusing mess the ending of *that* game was, maybe this one would actually be a good thing to add, so at least we could get a clue as to what the Sith-loving hell actually happened there. A shattered planet like that, the geography alone should be... interesting.
  8. Kashyyyk has interesting terrain (I've got a thing for treehouses, for some reason), but hearing the natives go on for extended periods would be maddening. Imagine if you had to visit the Ugnaughts' native planet. Naboo would presumably be like Alderaan, but with rivers and swamps instead of mountains... and Gungans instead of Kiliks? Yeah, I'll stick with the creepy bugs, thanks. Kamino is nice enough (might make a nice change if your skin's dried up from too much time on Tatooine), but I can't help but think it'd be murder on the system, and I'm not terribly keen on strictly-city environments. Geonosis? We kind of already have one desert. Mustafar is a fair bet, though. We're missing a lava level. Could add Felucia as well, for the mushroom level...
  9. Put shock collars on Skadge and Kaliyo, and a restraining bolt on Scorpio, hand them a mop, and you're all set. Republic stations presumably already come with a de-hairballing system.
  10. Considering they're going to be a cartel market item last I heard (though admittedly I can't find *official* confirmation of this anywhere, so take it for what it's worth), I doubt any class is going to "get" them. Rather, they'll most likely work as any other market-bought race unlock, becoming available to all classes right from the start.
  11. I think he was just suggesting they wear pants on their head.
  12. Ah, to clarify the bit about the HK-51 quest. There is a cartel market item granting access to Section X on Belsavis, that's true, and if you're not a subscriber, you *do* need it to even enter the area. If you are a subscriber, though, you can ignore that particular cartel item.
  13. Can't speak for 1 and 4, but I can help with the other two. As far as affection goes, I'm pretty sure companions generally don't get affection from conversation choices when away on missions. The exception here might be conversations over ship holocomm or conference table, but I don't exactly have any way of verifying it at the moment. As for the HK-51 quest, once you're level 50, head to Section X. In theory it's on Belsavis and can be reached by the space station shuttle there, in practice you can reach it from a number of other shuttles that can get you to bonus "end-game" zones. Once there, find G0-A1 or B6-31 (Empire and Republic side, respectively), who will give you a Heroic 2+ quest called either Fatal Errors or The Fatality (again, Empire and Republic, respectively). It's marked as Heroic 2+, but with a bit of luck and good gear, you should be able to solo at least the opening stage of it. Just follow that quest and you'll eventually get your very own snarky assassin droid.
  14. On the subject of Manaan: I think it's a bit early for the kolto vs bacta argument, isn't it? I admit I'm not sure when exactly bacta starts showing up, but I'm fairly sure it was a bit later than the 300-odd years since KOTOR. Whether it's better or not, I don't know, but it could simply be easier to obtain, not coming from vents at the bottom of a planetwide ocean. That said, I seem to recall hearing Manaan got hit hard at some point, and Ahto city, the planet's literal ONLY spaceport, got sunk. As such, I doubt we'll see it in quite the same way as we did in KOTOR. Maybe as a naval-based warzone or something of the sort? A fight between two naval ships, or a boarding action of a kolto drilling rig? As for other content, I'm not all that picky, but I think for the "old" category, I'd ask for... Felucia, perhaps. Game's lacking in mushroom levels. Or maybe Kamino. Or, hey, maybe Kashyyyk. And for EU stuff, maybe a Chiss-held planet? Really though, I'd be happy and set for a while if they just got those playable Cathar out already...
  15. You know, I can understand why people might want another alien race to play as, rather than Cathar. At the same time, to those folks, try to understand that Cathar are the ones that have been promised as the first one. I'm sure if they're received well, it'll serve as extra incentive for the devs to provide more races further down the line. That said, I don't suppose anyone knows the all-important question of WHEN? I mean, the new race was announced... what, last summer? And now we've got news of patch 2.0 going to the test servers, with no mention of a new race being added. I'm getting just a teeeeeny tiny little bit impatient here.
